I was pretty unhappy with charges and an automatic reorder when not requested.The above says it all. I was under the impression you could try it for 10.00 as in the come-on ad. But not be charged 38.44 for each shipment I wanted to be happy with the color first. This seemed pretty deceptive to me. It winds up it's too dark and looks even black in some areas. Doesn’t cover greyI’ve subscribed and tried the product twice, and while the colour shade and match isn’t bad ( maybe not as nice as a box dye I’ve used before) it simply doesn’t cover grey. I have dark brown hair and I opted for the full permanent (and not the natural grey demi coverage option) and still I’m left with a weird orangey colour halo in my parting where the grey hair was - and with some bits just sparkling away still grey on my hairline. Fine on the non-grey hair and leaves a nice colour finish, but the “permanent” gives grey coverage that is certainly worse than a semi permanent box colour would cover. So disappointed, I now will have to try and fix it with a box dye to fade out these areas. Would have got a better result with a cheap L’Oréal box dye kit. Also, side point, the shampoo and conditioner is such a pathetic amount for my long hair. Need to use my own, as i imagine it’s only enough for someone with up to shoulder length fine hair, if that, not very custom. Such a shame. I wanted to remove the brassiness but this hasn't done thatI am really disappointed. I've used esalon about 4 times before and have been super happy each time. I wanted to go one - two shades darker and remove the brassiness. It's not as dark as I wanted but thats definitely my fault for being cautious. My issue is that my hair is just as brassy as it was before - my precious colours have always removed this. Hated the colorDid not like the color at all. Like, counting down the days until it's safe to re-color with something better. Didn't cancel my next order in time so I got a second order. Completely different color than anticipatedI’m quite upset that the color my hair actually turned out to be is no where near what it should be. I naturally have medium dark brown hair and I wanted to go to a dark blond but instead it turned out copper. Not the right color for meFirst color was duller than what I thought I chose, a true copper auburn, what I got was a dark blonde with a hint of gold. Second adjustment I asked for a deep copper red. What I got was more blonde with a hint of copper and maybe just a touch of red, maybe. They really just want me to be a blonde, when I’m naturally a true auburn who wants to go richer in reds and coppers. Thank you, but not wasting the money for a 3rd try. Bad product good customer serviceI ordered a dark ash brown, what was sent was labeled as such but it turned my hair a light brassy brown and offered absolutely no grey coverage. I did have my stylist offer a new color but I decided to take the refund and run. I filled out everything correctly and followed the directions exactly so I’m not sure what went wrong but I’d never use the product again. Total waste of money and completely disappointedI tried this product after seeing lots of highly rated reviews on Facebook. I should have done more research. I selected a ‘light auburn’ colour for already copper coloured hair. Thank god I ordered a demi permenant because my hair is bright red at the ends, bright purple and the roots and has a band of copper through the middle. I hate it and look like a circus clown. HorrificIf I could give this place a 0 star review I would. The hair dye i chose was red, deep red, my hair is dark brown and when I rinsed my hair my roots turned blond and the lower part of my hair didn't change. I have been using eSalon for yearsI am switching to Madison Reed - I just tried it and found it works better than eSalon. While using the eSalon hair color, after only the first washing of my hair, the e-Salon hair color faded terribly, most of my grey-colored hair was washed out and faded. The color did not stay dark as it should. I am forced to using coloring hair-spray until my next coloring which I don't like - it leaves my hair dull fake looking. I ordered the color Brown Cinnamon and was sent Mahogany.First I’m very disappointed that my color choice wasn’t delivered. Instead Mahogany was delivered when I chose Brown Cinnamon. I ended up using it because of needing to cover all the gray. But I hate it. DisappointedMy color was entirely TOO dark. Also less than 2 weeks grey started showing through. Color faded within a week but that's not bad because it was wrong color. Did not work on my grey hairsDon't like this product. I thought it would fully cover my grey hairs and it did not I even left it on for over an hour and a half. I will not recommend this product for anyone with grey hair I even tried to buy a lighter color so when they grey hairs do come out their not so noticeable. Beware of eSalon's Hair Color BlendsI received a blend that darken my hair A LOT! The blend color on my hair is not even remotely close to the hair color I selected. I don't trust their color specialist customizing blends and have canceled my subscription after my first and last bad experience with eSalon. I will need to go to my salon and have my hairstylist get my lighter hair color back and spend the unexpected cost! Bad time to get it wrong !I-Don’t like leaving bad reviews for Business, however, they dropped the ball big time! I feel it is important for A company to get it Right, if they are selling the concept of self-coloring your hair at home. Where if you bought your color at a supply store you would know what you purchased! Not so here! You are at their mercy, believing you have bought the same color. This is especially true, when you deal in any kind of red highlights or coloring! Reds deposit the most pigment and is the most difficult to reverse, without major problems! I have this problem! The fact last are, I bought hair color four times prior and was very happy !, I was feeling comfortable in their ability to provide me with the same product each time ! Well NO THAT DID NOT HAPPEN. Here are the facts! - [ ] My daughters' wedding is in Texas this weekend. I'm in Ca. And colored my hair as always . - [ ] Ordered. the same hair color the last four times. 34/dark blonde 1,/8 copper, and the other is ash. Hair turns out strawberry blonde - [ ] My daughter offered to apply it for me. while I the color looked the same when pouring them together. - [ ] My hair color is strawberry blonde and is long. - [ ] For this last order, I didn't look at their % of color, it had always been great before! My normal ordered was 3/4% dark blonde, 1/4 ash blonde 1/8 copper! 20% vol. - [ ] This time I was sent 1/2 Medium Brown 1/2 COPPER RED! 10% volume. - [ ] No BLONDE! That's it! No blonde whatsoever. No lift! I was horrified. My daughter cried, thinking she did it! Kinda looked like a dark carrot top! Underwhelming resultsNice packaging and “value added “ with personal instructions, separate roots and lengths color bottles, and some nice extra tools. But I’m not that excited about the resulting color and condition of my hair. I went with a cool beige blonde because my hair pulls orange and I have very hard water that makes any golden tones brassy looking. And I HATE brassy tones with a passion! My natural color is very ashy “bronde” and warm colors do not suit my pinkish complexion. I thought this would be pretty close to my natural color(max one level lighter, but I have 50% gray so thought it would work well). I followed all instructions and have a lot of past experience with coloring my hair. This didn’t cover my grays very well, looks much warmer than expected, and my hair feels dry and damaged. I used the light set kit afterwards and those highlights also turned out pretty brassy except for the ends (which had previous highlights). I’m thinking of trying one more time with the most ashy tone and requesting more gray coverage in the formula if possible. Don’t waste your time, Customer Service won’t respondI sent pictures of my hair prior to my custom color being created and provided the details of the dark brown hair color I was seeking and it still wasn’t right. I emailed about how unsatisfactory your product was and Ive NEVER heard from anyone. Still a week later, no response. You email me every couple of days trying to sell me something but you can’t reply to my issue via email. I finally just gave up and cancelled the auto ship and when the second shipment arrives I will return it to get my refund. Ergebnis ist enttäuschendIch bin sehr enttäuscht von der Coloration. Ich habe hellbraun asch bestellt, aber das Ergebnis ist nicht mal annähernd ein aschton, sondern ein sehr helles goldbraun mit kupferreflexen. Genau das was ich nicht wollte. Zudem hat die Farbe absolut keine grauen Haare abgedeckt, das heißt ich habe im Ansatz immer noch alle grauen Strähnen. Ruined my hairI requested the brown//copper which on the picture had a pink tint to it. Follow the instructions to the letter and my hair is brown! Not just brown a horrible mud colour which is going to need bleach to lift. I tried this company as the colour I use is hard to get hold of, I picked a colour too match what I used and it's shocking. It's only hair but looking at the colour and I cried... Because I know this will ruin my hair to fix. Rest assured I won't be using this again. It’s OkI like the strawberry color as it’s close to my natural color. The only reason I color my natural red is because I’m getting whites. This initially covered them until the second hair wash. I used the shampoo & conditioner included and followed the time settings for processing. Horrible!I will never use this again. My hair is ruined for Easter Sunday. Thank you esalon for making my hair greenish! It was suppose to be light blonde. Has a greenish tint. Now I have to go to church like this tomorrow and laugh it off. I will not ever recommend esalon! Not only did it turn my hair an ugly color but also the texture of the hair. I think I will stick with my regular hair color from the store! At least with that I don't end up with ugly hair! ESALON YOU SHOULD REIMBURSE ME! if I could have given 0 stars , I would have. Temporary colorColor started fading after single wash, grey coverage was less than 20%. In 4 washes I have lost all color and grey hair are visible. I have to pay to have to have the color corrected at the salonI was under the impression that once I put the color I wanted to achieve - and sent a photo of my current color, you'd send the right shade to achieve the light ash brown!? Instead it came out black!?! We're going into summer and my hair is black! I have to go to the salon to have this corrected now. Im not a cosmetologist and I know what colors to put on my hair to achieve the shade I want! The fact my hair is black - ordering from a "professional" is incredibly insane! I sent a photo of my current hair color and chose the color I'd like to achieve. It's not even close! I wanted to go a tad bit lighter for spring!
