Very pleased with this product and how well my hair came out! Covered my gray very well and my hair looked like I went to a salon. Was really worried my hair would come out with a lot of red in it, Pleased to say it didn't not!! Yeah! I have never, ever colored my hair. On the recommendation of a friend who had great success with eSalon, I went for it. Nervous, I contacted them directly and spoke to the about my data entered. They tweaked my color and it arrived in good time. It sat on my counter until Friday after work and I started. I'm a 'newbie' at this so I would say any gray that wasn't covered was my own fault. My mid length cut doesn't hold up under clips well (short and long pieces) so I have a plan for next time. But the end result was beautiful. I ended up with a mellow dark blonde with warm highlights. Most of the gray was covered and as mentioned those that weren't I believe are user error. I will definitely use this product again.

I so enjoyed using esalon. The color was easy to apply. The instructions were easy to follow. I also found the How-To videos very helpful for first time users of product. My color treatment was matched perfectly. My hair felt soft and manageable after using product. The only problem I had was total coverage of gray hair in part of hair and front hairline. The hard gray area was colored but a lighter color in places. Those areas had not been colored for 2 months due to Covid-19. I was completely white in that area before adding esalon custom color. Any suggestions for complete coverage in hair part area for next shipment of esalon? I appreciate any advice.

I've always gone to the salon to have my hair colored and cut, but with the pandemic that was not possible. A friend told me about eSalon so I tried it out and I have to say I love the way my hair came out and so surprised that I had colored my hair myself! So proud of me!! I was a little nervous, but with COVID19 quarantine, I desperately needed a color. I took the survey, sent in pictures and ended up with a perfect match. I had an issue with delivery (not really eSalon's fault), but the product finally arrived. Honestly, the color is beautiful and my roots perfectly match the rest of my hair. I have brunette hair with different color highlights and was very apprehensive to color my own hair. I took a chance and received the perfect color. It covered my grays and did NOT change my highlight color !!!! Smooth shiny hair and very little smell. I was very impressed!

I have never coloured my own hair, I always go to a salon. I wasn’t happy with the first colour I received, I asked for it to be adjusted and it is really lovely and I’m super happy with the colour now. I love it. I am a definite convert to home colouring.

It took me a while to pick out the color as I wanted to ensure a perfect match to my red/brown color. The pictures seem quite accurate as the one I chose is a perfect match. I also uploaded a photo of my color after my most recent salon visit. I only had to color my roots to cover the grey and it was pretty easy with the instructions, even completely by myself. I'd suggest if possible having an extra mirror to be able to see the back of your head if you don't have a friend to help. Plus, the kit is incredible with everything you need and I even loved the shampoo and conditioner. However, I would suggest shampooing your hair twice with dark colors as I was worried about it on my scalp and hairline. Definitely will do again - looks as good as the salon for hundreds less.

When I dye my hair I usually need 3 store-bought boxes to have enough to get all of my waist length hair. They sent me 2 bottles and it was more than enough. The results were amazing! It's so soft and shiny and it almost glitters in the sun. Their conditioner even stopped my waves from frizzing afterward which I've never had outside of a salon color session.
While there is a bleachy smell while processing (I was going lighter so the smell was to be expected) it's much less than any box dye I've tried.

This was soooo easy. I had only had my hair professionally colored before (for more than 30 years) and my stylist recommended eSalon when it became clear that she would not reopen in the foreseeable future. I talked to the colorist twice, completely reassuring, knowledgeable and professional. They got the absolute right color, my daughter could easily apply it and it looked fantastic. I no longer am reminded about the holding pattern we are all in every time I look in a mirror. I know it is self-absorbed, but I feel so much better and my mood has really improved. I am in a much better frame of mind to go to work and can focus on others. Now if it could get an e-hair cut!

So I had an allergic reaction to the patch test. Of course, this meant that I couldn't use the dye. When I rang up customer service they were super understanding and even sent over the ingredient list so I can find out what it is that caused my reaction. They also refunded my order right there and then. All of this has resulted in my four star review. Of course, it's sad I couldn't use my dye, but eSalon's customer service handled this really well, and I'm impressed.

I was so happy with my first experience with eSalon. As an unnatural redhead, I've had plenty of color disasters in my life (think bright red roots with the rest of my hair nearly black), plus my hair is just difficult to get to an even color because there's more build-up as you go down the hair. eSalon included two different dyes in my first package, the first just for my roots, and the second for the rest of my hair, and it blended to a perfectly even color! I'm honestly amazed that they were able to make it work using one selfie better than the results I've gotten from some actual salons. Plus, my hair is shinier and feels smoother than it was when I was buying dye from a beauty supply store, and the shampoo/conditioner they have you use after the dye made it so that I didn't have purple pillowcases and towels and no color running the next time I washed my hair. Also, the dye droplets didn't seem to stain my white bathroom as much. I don't know how it's possible, but I'm very happy! If I had to give one critique, it's that I wish they could use more eco-friendly packaging, like maybe less cardboard/paper/plastic and I really only needed one pair of gloves instead of two, but I also know it's a challenge to package these chemicals in a sustainable way. I started having gray hair at a very young age. Therefore I been dying my own hair for over 30yrs with store bought hair dye. At the end of the day, I was not happy with the color. I could never get the correct color no matter what color I bought.
I love my hair color and texture since I started coloring my hair with esalon. I have used it 3 times in a row, and each time it gives me consistency, which was what I was lacking previously.

I was a little hesitant about purchasing-just because of nerves & wasn’t sure how it would turn out. I was so nervous to dye my hair b/c it was platinum/gray (very light) & wanted a more natural color. I didn’t know how to achieve this. This product worked great & was tailor made just for me.

I must admit, I was nervous when I first colored my hair, not really knowing what to expect. I had alot of white in my naturally red hair. I was shocked to see all of the white gone and was afraid I went too dark red. Those feelings didn't last long when I started looking at old pictures of myself. I couldn't believe how close to my natural red the colorist came, and on the first try! I am so happy with the color and my hair could not be softer! A lady coming out of the church across the street just stopped me and told me how gorgeous the color of my hair is and how it shines in the sun. Could not be happier!

Just tried your hair colour for the first time. Can't believe how well the colour turned out. The directions were explicit and easy to follow. I did the strand test and decided to leave the colour in place 10 minutes longer than the directions as the roots were pretty white. Very pleased with the results. I will be telling my friends and family about esalon. Thank you.

E-Salon treats me well, and never hesitates with my color changes, although they do give great advice. I wanted to go a certain color at the beginning and they convinced me that it would not look attractive on me. Their permanent color stays longer than others I have used before needing root touch ups. It looks good, feels soft and I love it!

So I think I've had 9 orders so far with esalon. Every. Single. One. Has been amazing. The color is beautiful, evenly distributed. It looks so natural. I am in LOVE with my color. I simply followed my colorist instructions step by step and seeing all of my gray hairs fully covered for the first time its simply amazing!!!. At my hair dresser she would charge me up to $120.00 for the amount of dye she needed to cover my grays and still didn't get the coverage needed like eSalon did.
I will definitely continue using eSalon for my hair dye needs now and in the future

One of the bright spots about quarantining during a pandemic is finding this product. It includes easy instructions and a quality salon grade product.The service has been excellent as well. I made a small change with my last order and they were spot on with the color. Shipping times have been timely. I would recommend eSalon with high ratings.

Durch eine durchgemacht Chemotherapie hat sich meine natürliche Haarfarbe sehr verändert. Sie ist sehr viel dunkler geworden und einige graue Haare kamen hinzu. Durch Fügung sah ich dieses Angebot. Also Haarfarbe angegeben und ein Bild von meiner ursprünglichen Haarfarbe dazu. Die Wartezeit war normal. Dann kam das Rundumpaket. Mit gut verständlicher deutschsprachiger Anleitung. Wie toll ist das denn? ! Alles da was man benötigt inkl.Handschuhe. Eigentlich kann man mit diesem gut durchdachten Set nichts verkehrt machen. Das Ergebnis war einfach überzeugend für mich. So habe ich mich schon lange nicht mehr gefreut und gefühlt. Am Preis gibt es auch wirklich nichts zu meckern. Ich finde diese Alternative genial. Bei meiner letzten Haarfärbung beim Frisör, die schon einige Jahre her ist, war ich absolut unzufrieden.
Jetzt sehe ich aus wie in den Jungbrunnen gefallen 😃 . Auch die grauen Haare sind abgedeckt.

I took the leap out of desperation, with my head increasingly filled with gray stripes and orders from my stylist not to cut or color my own hair. I stumbled across the eSalon ad, was impressed with the reviews and the fact that I was asked to send a photo to make the color match more likely. The package arrived and worked like a dream. I had help in the back from my daughter.
The color was easy to apply and was a perfect match to what I was looking for. It took only one experience to make the decision to color my own hair going forward. The result was essentially the same and I saved a great deal of money - can't beat that outcome!
