Coloring my hair has been an interesting experience at times so I was both excited and tentative when my kit from eSalon arrived. Well - I love it. The instructions were clear (and easy to read without glasses), and my color is terrific. No more speculation as to what color my hair will actually be when it's blow dried. Bravo eSalon!

Wow. I was definitely hesitant to buy a hair color online but I needed to fill in my roots. I was impressed with the ease of ordering and how spot on the color was from the color my stylist uses on me. It was a perfect match and looks better than the salon . I’m hooked . I have never colored my hair myself. I was worried about how the color would turn out. Being a red head I just couldn't fathom it. Well after this stay at home order, my roots were so bad I had to do something. This color set was so easy to use. I will keep coloring my hair my self - sorry to my hair dresser.

I used the root touch up kit this morning. It is dark blonde semi permanent and it did a good job of reducing the visual impact of the gray. The look is soft and light at the roots and it blended really well into the highlighted section of the hair. The whole process has done a great job of conditioning my hair as well. I will continue to use it in between salon visits.

I absolutely love this hair color product! It’s sooo nice and easy to use. I enjoy the brush to apply it. I also like the shampoo and conditioner. I love this color!! Medium Brown Pear Mahogany. My hair is so soft! It was so easy to do. I had everything I needed. The spot remover is amazing. There were no blotchy spots on my scalp at all. I have zero complaints.Thank you esalon!!! And a BIG THANKS to my stylist Paul 😘

I have a short pixie haircut with blonde highlights and dark blonde base. I wanted to touch up the grey I have since my last salon visit while we are all staying in. I love my color. I was able to touch up my base color without losing my existing highlights. The process was so easy. I love it. All I need now is someone to cut my hair! I’m ordering the next color now!

I am glad I tried eSalon! I found the instructions easy to follow. The color came out great... which says a lot because my hair is difficult to color! I started having my hair colored almost 35 years ago... being a very curly red/blonde head my nature color started to disappear early. I have had some stylist disasters - too brown, too red, too purple - you name it! But this product was perfect the very first time. I will try it again! TY.

I used the bowl method, love how the color has the consistency of pudding. My hair is short, so a little tricky avoiding the highlighted hair, especially in the back, but it covered gray really well, and the color looks like I get in the salon. Once Safer at home is lifted, new highlights. I was due anyway. I love the color and kit, definitely recommend using eSalon if you need to do your hair at home.

I really wanted to give 5 stars: the care with which the color was sent was so great, the directions were easy, but my greys did not get covered. 😢 my hair feels great, strong and shiny and I love the color that I received which is almost a perfect match to the salon hair I had. I am hoping for a better outcome next time!!🤞🏻🤞🏻

The new formula is awesome! It went on easier and stayed where I applied it. Then when I brought it through the ends of my long hair it covered completely with a bit left over even. I love the color and now my hair feels healthier too. Great job on your changes. I was going to quit but couldn’t find a comparable color. Now I’m telling my friends to get their color from eSalon! FYI: I’m a retired Cosmetologist.

I loved it ! I was so stressed out because I’m soooo picky. I will do a couple things different next time , the stuff you put around your face to prevent staining I think i will skip, I got too close to the hairline with it And so the color didn’t take in a couple of small spots, and also I will start with the crown so it has a little more time to process. I have very stubborn gray. I will definitely use it again! Thank you

This is the second time I've used this product. I found the instructions easy to follow. I have longer/medium length thick hair. There was plenty of color to cover all my roots with some left to spare. My hair feels soft and there is shine. I'm used to going to the stylist and am nervous about coloring my own hair. but can't due the the COVID pandemic. This color is slightly darker thank I would normally use but since this is my second time using it on my roots I don't want to change. So far so good.

The color was absolutely perfect--the exact shade I hoped for. My hair didn't come out dry requiring hours of moisturizing with coconut oil--it was very soft when I washed the coloring solution out. It is lasting very well too, It has been almost three weeks since I colored it and the color is holding well.

It's the BEST experience that I ever had. The color doesn't have a strong smell and also, it doesn't BURN on your scalp. After coloring, the texture feels AMAZING!!! SO SOFT, and SMOOTH. It's a better alternative than going to the beauty salon.

I am not a person to write a review nor buy a lot of things online; especially something like this that you can’t see in person. However, this is the *best* hair color I’ve ever had. My hair is auburn and not the easiest to match. Even at the salon. This was dead on. I haven’t seen my hair this color since I was younger. I’ve gotten compliments on it. The color stays, it’s phenomenal. I should state, I don’t have a lot of grays; what I do have are stubborn grays which are very prominent against my natural color.
The kit comes with everything set out for you. It does mimic an at home salon experience. Ease of use is elementary. I’m actually looking forward to the next time!

I ended up using it as an all-over color rather than the roots because I had very light ends and dark roots. It got me back to my natural color, which is all I need right now. It was super easy to use with no mess. It hasn't washed out, actually went one shade lighter after washes, which I liked. The shampoo/conditioner makes your hair silky smooth. I might go one shade lighter next time.

Have tried my hair colour today and is it absolutely lovely, almost the same colour as my natural hair, This company is fantastic and provides a superb salon to home service. Everything you need is provided with your kit, they have thought of everything! Love the fact you can ask them to adjust your colour if needed. The service has been excellent, will definitely continue using them and highly recommend to everyone.

My roots were getting pretty bad with the quarantine so I tried e-salon. It was so easy and I love it. The color match was perfect. We quickly ordered my daughter some and hers turned out great as well. Love that they have a professional looking at all the orders etc. to make sure you get what you need.

I was skeptical about having to use two bottles and was a little worried because I was covering up blonde balayage with a darker, warmer colour. But after reading the instructions and watching some of the videos, I worked up the courage to do it. I shouldn’t have worried. The colour is rich and very professional looking. Clean-up was easy and I actually had no staining (unlike when I go to the salon). My colour is a work in progress to get it back to a rich brown, but I’m super happy with this first colour!

Ich war erst sehr skeptisch, ob der passende Farbton gefunden wird. Ich lasse es sonst immer beim Friseur machen und selbst da hat es gedauert, die richtige Farbe für mich zu finden. This is the first time that I have coloured my hair by myself and I was so nervous but needed to cover my grey whilst in Covid 19 lockdown. I couldn’t have been more pleased. The colour is spot on and looks great. So easy to apply (though I need to try and make less mess next time!!) and has given my hair a lovely sheen.

Wow! I really was skeptical about how well this was going to work on my hair. I have thick and dry long hair and it absorbs EVERYTHING. It really provided a great all over color and the colorist hit it out of the park with the mix. Totally worth it!!

I was skeptical and a bit worried about ordering a color online and then applying it to my hair not knowing what the results could be...I might hate the color. I was trying to get rid of my gray and usually go to a salon, however with COVID-19 closures I wouldn’t be able to get to my stylist until June!!!! Um no I can’t wait that long.
I followed the easy evaluation steps for which I was presented with color options based on my base. I selected my preferred color and when I received it in the mail couldn’t wait to apply and see my results. Needless to say my reservations about using this product have been happily quashed. This is a great option to store bought and professional salons. The color is perfect. I had root color and end color and it blended naturally to match my desired hair color result. I highly recommend eSalon and will be a returning customer.
**One thing to note**. If your hair is longer I recommend having help to apply in order to ensure all over coverage especially in the back.

Like many folks out there...this is the first time I have colored my hair at home. It was definitely a messy process for me which I'm sure will get better as I get more used to it; however, the end result far exceeded my expectations. The color looks great and my grays are gone!...at least for now!

My order arrived on time. Loved the sticker that’s included so you can put the directions on your mirror to refer to as you are applying the color. The directions were clear. It covered my gray and matched my color better than any store-bought product I’ve used. Give it a try!

I have a head full of white/gray hair that I have been having colored to my pre-gray medium/dark brown at the salon for decades. When COVID-19 and the call to #StayHome came along, I gave eSalon a try to deal with my major gray root growth at that point. I stepped through the website form, uploaded a few photos, placed my order, and waited by the mailbox. TODAY my order arrived! I immediately tore into the package and gave the system a go. Well, I'm delighted! Now, it's possible that a big part of my delight is the fact that my roots are no longer white, which is a very BIG DEAL right about now, but I can also say that I found the process pretty easy to manage, even as a first timer. While my new hair color is slightly too dark, I'm still very satisfied. It's not dramatically off base, and I'm sure I'll be able to work with the colorists to modify my order for next time. And I will definitely be ordering again. I advise anyone doing this for the first time to head to YouTube and search "eSalon" to find the many videos that are out there. I found that I had an easier time applying my color myself because I had invested an hour or two in advance, getting tips about just how one actually does that.
Anyway, I'm going to place an order today for my next box, so it'll be here at my finger tips, when the time comes to cover those gray roots again (in three weeks). Thanks, eSalon. I give your process and your product a big thumbs up.

I hesitated about doing my own color, but I finally gave in (too many gray roots - ha, ha). I didn’t want to stop there, so also ordered color for the rest of my hair (to cover highlights that will grow out too far). I have NEVER colored my own hair before and found the instructions to be easy to follow and the results are truly amazing!! I did have to get some help (from my son, who is quarantined with me) - don’t know how someone could do this alone! All I can say is that I love how it turned out (and my family does, too). I would highly recommend eSalon to my friends and family!!
