It may have taken longer to do but it's the best color I've ever put on my hair. I mean period, I've done both over the last thirty years and this turned out the best I've seen. I am very happy with the color and while it did take a little longer and attention to do myself at home, it's better than any salon I've ever been to. Thank you so much! I will not use anything else ever again and have recommended to all my friends- who love the color too and I promised to do theirs if they order esalon... LOL! I'm not a hairstylist by any stretch but using this sure let me feel like it =)

I’ve never colored my hair before the salons temporarily closed amidst the corona virus lockdown. The stylist got my color just right and the instructions were easy to follow. My hair turned out just the way I expected and I am very happy with the results.

This is what I was expecting the first time I colored, because the color mid-length looked so bright while it was processing. This is such a pretty color, I really like my hair this color. Thanks to Mindy my colorist she did some tweaking to my custom color and the second time was much better✔. I like that I can reach out to my personal colorist with questions, suggestions and advice on my custom color💯.

Instructions were easy. My roots are covered and the color is great. I naturally have dark hair, and I have dyed it red for years. Red hair can be tricky, and esalon made it easy!

I have been coloring my own hair for years and wanted to try eSalon after seeing others great results. I used the demi permanent and it left my hair very soft. It was just the right amount of red with Dark brown ( Natural Burgandy) The kit makes the process so nice to have all included.

I have NEVER coloured my hair myself before so this was a real game changer for me, especially during lockdown.
The instructions were easy to use, clear and simple with brilliant online guides too. I ordered the cape and tools too as have very long hair and despite a slight, and I mean slight, darker shade that I am used to -which in all honesty was probably due to the picture I sent them - I think I am converted. Definitley tweaking and using again for sure.

Das hochwertig verpackte Paket kam zügig an, Ausgepackt mit großer Vorfreude... Die Farbe für den Ansatz ist einfach super geworden, die zweite Gratisfarbe für die Längen habe ich noch nicht ausprobiert. Bis ca. zur Mitte meiner Haarlänge ein tolles Farbergebnis, die Spitzen sind leider super dunkel geworden, das liegt aber an meiner Haarstruktur, beim Frisör erziele ich kein besseres Ergebnis. Das Shampoo und die Pflege, die dem Farbset beiliegen, sind top, das Haar ist geschmeidig, glänzt und nicht angegriffen.
Freue mich schon auf die zweite Lieferung, da werde ich dann auf alle Fälle die Farbe für die Längen mitbenutzen.

OK, so I'm a total chicken! I'm 69 years old and I've been getting my hair colored since I started going white in my 20's. I finally did it yesterday..and it came out GREAT! I found one tiny bit that I missed but that's it! It's funny because today I received an Email from eSalon saying it is time to color again...but it's taken me this long to get up the nerve to do it. I love the color...honestly, my husband says it looks better than some of the times I've returned from the hairdressers. LOL, now that he's seen that I can do this, he wants me to dye his hair too! I can't remember EVER coming home from the salon and not having spent at least $100....and that was single process and no hair cut. WOW! This really worked and I could not be happier! THANK YOU!

I am really particular about hair tones. I hate warm tones and I love cool tones. The dark ash brown was really really ashy, and I love it. I see no red undertones. This is legit a better match to what I want than what my hair stylist has achieved. Highly recommend.

This was my first time trying an online color salon and I'm so pleased that I did. There was good, clear, communication from eSalon before my first order was shipped and I found the website easy to use. I uploaded photos of my initial haircolor and sent messages via the website. My colorist suggested I try demi permanent color and I'm so glad she did. The root coverage ( I had about 1" of gray roots) was great. I did cheat on the application and got my husband to apply it ( he's not a hairdresser) and the look is a perfect, even color all over. Thanks eSalon. PS Love the price ....saves me so much money going forward!

I am extremely impressed with my custom color! I have been getting my hair professionally colored black (Redken Chromatics 1NN) every 4 weeks for the past 3 years. I had to miss my touch up appointment at the salon when they closed down so it had essentially been 8 weeks since I colored my regrowth! I did research for days and read tons of reviews searching for a brand that I could trust that wouldn’t ruin the healthy state of my hair. Seeing how eSalon is completely customizable on your hair structure made me very comfortable with choosing them!
Once I received my own little custom box, I was amazed with the level of thought and effort that the company puts into making each color special for each person. I had the help of my boyfriend to apply the color and I loved that you could apply with a bottle and then brush it on. There was tons of color left which was a relief because since you only get one bottle, I was nervous that it wouldn’t be enough. Once I rinsed and blow dried my hair, I was blown away with how gorgeous it looked! The color matched 100% perfectly to my existing hair and my texture was incredibly soft and bouncy. My favorite part is that there wasn’t a bunch of color on my scalp like when I usually leave the salon and my scalp wasn’t itchy at all. I am honestly thinking of cancelling my current shampoo/conditioner subscription to add the classic combo that was sent with my kit! My hair is on day 3 of not being washed and there is NO grease at all! My hair is super shiny also, I seriously could NOT be happier with my results. I haven’t washed it again since, but I’m really hoping the color lasts long so that I can stop spending hundreds at the salon and switch to a lifetime with eSalon! :)

Desperate times call for desperate measures. I have traditionally had my hair colored and trimmed every 4 weeks no matter what. Then came the pandemic. No where to go so I carefully did my research and narrowed it down to eSalon. I couldn’t be happier! My husband says it looks better than when I went to have it professionally done! I’m a once every 4 week regular with my professional. Shelter in place happened right before my standing appointment. I knew this was going to be a problem. I had never heard of eSalon but being desperate I decided, after talking to my professional, to give it a try. I uploaded photos and answered the questions. Understandably, it took a few weeks to arrive. It arrived today and I applied to my roots this afternoon. For a first time user, it came out pretty good. I feel so much better with all that gray gone. The color isn’t a perfect match but I’m happy. I sent a picture of the finished product to my professional and she thought it was good. Although I plan to return to her, in case this sheltering in place goes on lots longer, I’m going to order again just to have it on hand. thank you eSalon Team.

I did like the overall product. I have stubborn grey and it seemed to make my roots much darker than the rest of my hair. I did like the step by step instructions and I have very long think hair and had plenty of product to cover my hair. I will purchase this again

Been using eSalon for 6 years and highly recommend their color set. After answering several questions and uploading a photo, it didn't take longer to get a perfect match. It is easy to speak directly to a colorist, too. The formula is gentle on my long hair and I love the freedom of coloring when I want to.

First time using a custom colour set and I have to say it was just fabulous. The whole kit felt very personalised and more expensive than it cost. I can't believe how esalon color covered my pure white roots! We are quarantined now with no end in sight. (I've been getting my hair professionally colored for about 3 yrs. ) I didn't know what I would do about my roots. I'm a medium dark brown and this was my natural hair color until the white came in. Esalon covered ALL of my roots and I'm 99.9 % white. It hasn't faded. I sent them 2 pics of my hair color, they matched it perfectly!
I think I'll continue to do my own hair. Huge savings and it looks great

I have been very impressed by my first order from eSalon - my brown shade was perfect and, dare I say it, better than the salon! Dying brown hair can be tricky - it is easy to go too dark towards black or greys turning red. My hair doesn't look like its been dyed. Thanks eSalon!

Ich habe nach Ewigkeiten nochmal selber gefärbt und bin sehr zufrieden. Die Farbe riecht zwar sehr stark, aber das ist beim Friseur auch nicht anders. Das Ergebnis kann sich sehen lassen. Klasse!

I saw the corona writing on the wall in March, ordered your color since it seemed unlikely I would get to my stylist for my usual 4 week gray roots become blonde adventure, and voila - it worked!
So grateful for one less (albeit tiny) stressor in my life ... no skunk line under my PPE !

I was really surprised how easy it was to color my hair. I was a little nervous because I am a red head and reds can go very wrong. I was very happy with the color and how it totally covered my gray. I would definitely recommend eSalon. The shampoo and conditioner are great too!

I did not expect my hair to look as great as it does! I'm a newbie at this so my Hubby did it for me. He was shaking the whole time, so I had no clue how it would come out. This was my first time using your product and the color is perfect! I might need slightly better gray coverage but I’m hopeful the next go around has a little bit more gray coverage. Color was perfection though! I usually go slightly lighter in summer so I’ll be interested to see how it goes. :)

First order. My stylist tweeked the color I picked, and she was right on. The color looks amazing! My only slight complaint was my roots are a tad lighter than the rest of my hair. But we’re going to update the next order. I also love that the color didn’t dry my hair out.

I am a redhead and have been to hair salons that don’t get my color right. Your color is amazing as good as my color that I pay almost $100.00 each time I see my hair dresser. I have long long hair. Thin fine hair. Like two inches from the butt long. The amount of dye sent to me was more than enough to get the job done. I got a bottle for my roots and a bottle for my midlengths/ends. It was so easy to follow the directions and apply to my hair. The color was not picture perfect and I imagine that is because my hair was either a bit dark for the lightness it originally showed. This is fine as I am happy with the color that I ended up with. This product did not leave my hair dry or fried. In fact I had shine when done. Not sure if that is because of the shampoo I use or the product? I do have a custom shampoo, not drug store brand. Now I am not sure how this stacks up against drug store hair dye and I have used that as well and was happy with it. I do not feel that drug store brand gave me as much depth as this color did. I would be willing to buy this again for sure. :)

I have never colored my hair by myself before. I don't do complicated color so I thought that I could save money and do my hair color at home. It was so easy! I have a few grays to color and I like to go two shades darker than my own color. From mouse brown to a richer darker brown. I love it!

I am naturally a redhead. A more Copper red. Since getting older my hair has faded into a lighter blonde color. I LOVE the intense copper, red shine this gives me! It brightens my complexion and brings life back into my hair. Its almost identical to how vibrant my hair color was before it started fading. They nailed my color. I won't use anything else.
