The color was beautiful but the roots were a different shade than the shaft of my hair, but esalon shipped me a complementary color to tone it down and it definitely worked!!!!! Esalon is very consistent and my colorist has my back:)

I've been using Esalon color for almost 6 years now. It's gentler than drugstore box color and so much more reasonable than paying $85-$100 every 4 weeks to go to a salon. But best of all (and this just happened to me again recently) I was talking to a colleague about this and she said, " I didn't know you colored your hair. I thought that was your natural color." For me, that's the mark of good color. I want my hair to look like my hair, not that kind of thing where you look at someone and the FIRST thing you notice is that their hair has been colored (and it's not very good). And while some people may want a dramatic look, I just want my hair to look like ME and look good. (I never lie about coloring my hair, but it's nice to know I could. ;-)

Should have tried it when I ordered it. It’s great and honestly do give it ago. I used to go to the salon every eight weeks. Got fed up when the hairstylist tried to do three others as well as me. Now no hastle it’s just me and my hair. Great match. You won’t be disappointed. Bye the way I didn’t get the tools or cape I orderd!!!!

I was hesitant, but I tried it for the first time this week and what a difference from the staff you by at the store. The consistency is great so it does not drip and covers roots !! Store staff would always leave some greys on my roots specially around the ears and stain all my skin. This does not stain your skin at all. Coloured my eye brows perfectly again, no staining around. I’m completely in love!

Ive been using esalon for some time now and loved the colour and after sending a quick email to change the colour slightly was no bother, i can change my shipment for when it suits me. The colour lasts longer than other products ive use.

Love this brand! The color is natural and gives my hair a healthy shine. I previously had strawberry blond roots and long blond ends, and the esalon light copper blond has created a more uniform color. I get complimented on my “natural” color frequently!

I was really pleased with my new blended color. It always comes out exactly as I want it (especially if I follow the custom directions). This blend is lasting and has softened my hair as I am growing it out. I have added the highlights and the toner to my next order. I will never buy any other hair coloring product from ANYWHERE ELSE! Please try it. Took me three different times for me to find the perfect color, But they listened and adjusted. The response time is reliable. Wow it is the perfect shade. Give it a try. Love the way it lasts and feels. You go above and beyond.

Happy with my colour which I have been using now since summer. As a busy Mum it took me a while to find the time to do it initially, but actually I'm done in about an hour now I am used to the instructions which are super-easy to follow. Each time it takes less preparation and I get more confident and adept. Still haven't got round to doing the highlights, as initially the colour with my previous highlights in looked lovely, but I will now give it a go as colour is obviously getting progressively more monotone with each dye. Feel quite inspired to do other colours in the future but still happy with the dark blonde for now. I also like how under certain lights it has a rich coppery tone.

The kit was great. I liked the brush option as it made it easier then normal box dyes to dye my hair and the dye didn't burn my scalp like other dyes do. The color was a bit lighter then I expected but I liked it better this way so no real complaints there.

I am SOOOOO happy I discovered esalon! Previous I was buying at local beauty stores and the formulas were not giving me the results I wanted. This colour set was so easy to blend and applied well. The colour is rich and has all the undertones I asked for! I am hooked!

Step by step instructions A+! The packaging is amazing so easy to follow the instructions. That come with a little sticker to tape the instruction up on your mirror, VERY convenient! I purchased the light brown and the highlighting kit. I colored my hair with the light brown and loved it SO much i didn't even use the high light, Which is huge since I have had blonde in my hair for the last 30 years. My hair feels great too!

I like that the grays get covered and the color and conditioner afterwards leave my hair so soft and glossy. Also like that I can have the color adjusted with a message to my colorist so that I get the desired results long term. They even adjusted my instructions to make sure I liked my color next time!

I was shocked when I put on the hair color and my scalp did not itch..for the first time ever in coloring. It felt cooling and soothing and the 20 minutes just flew by. I have never had a color experience where I could not wait to wash out the treatment due to itching.

Love the color! I get many compliments. It’s the perfect color for me. At first it’s still a little to dark but after a few washes it’s perfect when using the tint rinse. Thank you for tailoring it to me!!!

I can't say that I was not nervous to try this product. I have done everything from box dye at Walmart to spending hundreds at the salon. So when I did the questionnaire and I saw the colors they chose I was excited because they were exactly what I was looking for. The box came very fast and when it arrived I was excited to try it. The process was easy and I loved the little sticker to hold up the directions (very nice touch). The color was a little darker than the picture showed but it still turned out perfect.
The shampoo that comes in the kit smelled great which was another added bonus.

I love this color kit! I have always paid over $100 to get my hair done every 6 weeks. Since finding this color kit, I only go to the salon about twice a year to get my highlights touched up and a fresh trim. Not only does it save me money but the color covers my grays well and seems to last longer than the salon color!!

For the first time in the history of coloring my hair, I didn't look in the mirror wishing for the first shampoo to soften the look. My hair is soft, shiny and smells incredible! The color is great... no unwanted red or gold!

I just used my first order of eSalong color. I love it. First, the packaging was fun. My name was on the bottles and instruction! I have colored my hair for years, but never really took time to do my roots. The videos on eSalon's website were really informative and I felt comfortable - finally - to do my roots! The back of my head wasn't as good as the front, but it's a start.
I was really impressed with the amount of color. I felt I was doing something wrong because I had so much leftover for the roots and ends. I have thick hair. I was great to not worry about running out of color!
I have never done the step in the shower with the color. I noticed a difference.
My only complaint is this color smells so much worse than most colors I have used. Honestly, it is not something that will deter me from using again! Thank you!!

my hair can get orangey or brassy and with the formula I am receiving it remains the perfect color even after being out in the sun. I asked for a little lighter color and the adjustment was again perfect (with the Ash color adjusted as well to keep it from turning reddish/orange). Could not be happier.

Oh my gosh I'm in love with my new color! I can't believe how perfect you guys got it without you even seeing my hair. I'm soooooo impressed i had to order more along with some mousse and hair spray. I'm in!!!!! I'll never go anywhere else no reason to leave esalon!

I decided to try eSalon as I travel a lot and can't get with my regular colorist as often as I need to retouch. They did a great job in matching what I wear and I may be able to take on the whole job on my own regardless of where I am. I never expected that! Being able to delay a shipment is perfect too.

Navigating the website is a challenge. I couldn't find the highlights (hidden at the very bottom of the website) so I ordered my color, then found the highlights, which meant I had to pay shipping twice!
Please put the Highlights at the top of the website so we can find it! But thank you for this amazing product. It really is as good as salon color!

I had a friend with experience to apply the dye as it was my 3rd time coloring my hair at the age 53. We applied some of the dye to my eyebrows too.
The blonde highlights I had before were covered and the color looked very natural.
I am glad I got this product and will do again in January.

After experimenting too much with my hair and ending up with was about three different colors at once, I decided to give this brand a try, and I love the results. My hair looks very close to my natural hair, its very soft and doesn't feel damaged like with other hair dyes. I am in love with my hair color!!!

I used to go to the grocery store and try to decide what color to buy each time, alternating between a lighter color and a darker color each time. Now, the color is consistent and I don’t have to decide. I usually bought what was on sale that day. Love this, and the shampoo and conditioner preserve the color. They have lasted a long time, too, because I only use small amounts.

I noticed on today's application that the product is creamier and adheres to the hair much better. It was so much easier to apply and it lathered it beautifully. I LOVE it and of course the results are always professional!!!! I highly recommend Esalon.

I have been purchasing eSalon hair color since 2012 with no problems or issues. The color is fabulous and as you can see it leaves my hair shiny and luxurious~ Because of my thick, long hair, I found that I needed more product to actually cover the grey. Without hesitation my eSalon consultant made sure that my orders would complete the job. My hairdresser even says "I don't know how you do it. I have people who come in after they have done their own hair, and i have to fix what they did." Lol, not me... he also says that my hair is in great condition! (Thanks again, i also use the Color Care Shampoo & Conditioner Duo.) You will not be disappointed with your product or the end result ~ I love eSalon & their awesome service... mmmm maybe i should think about highlights.... :)
