I really liked how my hair didn't feel like straw when I rinsed color out. With store brands my hair felt so dry and brittle. Looking forward to more days with my new color and conditioning purchases.

Hi guys! I was worried about going dark but the customer service was on it! I chose an auburn and was worried it would be something unnatural but the two step color provided and step by step instructions resulted in a beautiful flattering rich color that looks great in every lighting. My hair was a little rough after coloring but a vinegar rinse calmed down the cuticles and I’m very happy. I love the shampoo, conditioner and big softy conditioner.

I have colored my hair for more than 40 years in some form or another. eSalon Custom Color Set not only provides everything you need (love that I get 2 pairs of gloves, stain guard, and stain remover) but my color stays true between colorings. I always had a problem with my dark brown fading to medium brown before I switched to eSalon. I really can't say enough good things about my color.

I was initially afraid, when I ordered, that I had chosen a color too dark. I turned out perfectly. My highlights that have grown out look natural with the darker roots. No obvious line.

I hadn't colored my hair in many years so it had grown out to my virgin dark ash blonde color. I used this gorgeous copper dark ash blonde and it's so beautiful and absolutely perfect color for me. I've gotten so many compliments and even got a new boyfriend! Thank you Esalon!

I have been trying to find the perfect red for me. I didn’t want it to be “bright” but I do want rich. I have been a redhead for years and this is one of the best formulas I have had. I gave four stars because I wish the ends freshener were more gentle like a semi permanent so the peroxide isn’t so strong and trying to my naturally curly and already dry and coarse hair.

I went to the salon in El Segundo and the colorist pulled up my past color and was able to work with me to get exactly the color i wanted. Cant wait to go back and do it again.

It's easy to do, quality color at home. When I told my colorist I wanted more coppery red she got it exactly right. When I wanted to change the frequency of shipments and skip one, it was done immediately.

This has been the BEST at home hair dye!! The process was easy and I didn't have to spend a fortune (and hours!) getting it done at a salon. It turned out wonderful, they even took into consideration my highlights and roots! And it didn't wash out after the first wash of my hair like store bought box dye does! Love it!

I applied my color today to cover the roots . It’s a beautiful custom shade, with nice tones that doesn’t look like a stark change- just looks like “ my “ hair color . The previous applications always grow out nicely- the color evolves rather than just fading out. It is easy to do myself , requiring little time, effort or even skill. I will likely add highlights soon to get me thru the winter doldrums !

I couldn't be happier with the outcome of my coloring!! Got rid of ALL the grays almost instantly, had to go back and take care of a few during the process but coverage is beyond my expectations! I will never buy another drugstore box of hair dye again...nor will I waste my money at the salon! Thank u Hannah at eSalon! When rincing color out my hair was smooth, i could run my fingers through my hair, before shampooing and conditioner.. Same with the shampoo and conditioner.. I never had this happen before and I have very course hair.. You have a permanent new customer!. You all rock, dont know how you did it.. The packaging was spectacular, but the product is the brst i ever used, I am 65 so i have colored my hair for many years, but nevet had such a perfect covering of gray hair and cant believe you matched my hair color petfectly.. i know i am going to spread the word of esalon!!. I have a crazy schedule so I don't have time nor do I want to go sit in a salon for 4 hours to sometimes leave with the results I don't even like! eSalon was exactly what I needed! The instructions were simple & the color came out perfect! I can actually see the ash and my grays are almost hidden after my 1st application (should've used more color)! I've already recommended it to friends & family! I also got to live out my dream of being a hair stylist so it was wonderful!

This is easy to apply and the custom color is beautiful. My hair feels soft and smooth. My hair smells great which is different than other hair color products which leave a chemical smell on my hair. Love this color and will continue to use. I will let my friends know about this product.

This was my first time using the eSalon custom color. What a great experience! Based on the notes and picture I provided, the eSalon Color Consultant suggested a lighter color that I selected; it was perfect. The personalized instructions were very helpful as were the videos. I definitely recommend the eSalon Custon Color experience.

This was my first time purchasing my own color set. I was very impressed with the packaging of my product, and the labels it made have a very personal feel as if I went to the salon and had a stylist getting ready to do my hair. The color was very nice. If I could change one thing and I will my next go around I would add a little more of the violet to my hair. I felt there wasn't enough to make it noticeable. You have to really be in good light.

I tried this out on a whim and am so glad I did! I cover my roots about every 8 weeks with demi permanent color and have only trusted a salon to do so up until now. I had been thinking that if I could just get the color mixed for me, I could certainly handle the application. Thanks to esalon, my hair coloring needs are met in a more affordable way. AND the color was exactly what I asked for in my message and pics; AND the quality seems great. It blended beautifully, looked fresh and shiny, and is lasting as well as the salon demi I was getting (PM Shines).

I'm always skeptical about dying my hair with red tones in it because it usually ends up looking fake or not at all like I intended it to look. My custom color was perfect for my hair! It looked exactly as I intended it to look, and I could not be happier with how my color came out! it was really easy to do and the directions and videos were super helpful with coloring my hair even though I colored my hair before. I am so looking forward to keeping this color!

Best colour at home kit I’ve ever used. I’m very impressed with the colour, so natural and that’s from someone that’s coloured her hair for 30 years. I highly recommend it and will be using esalon from now on. Very easy to use, step by step instructions, clear and precise. Everything I needed in the box. I was so nervous to refresh my salon-dyed copper color because it took three appointments to achieve my desired color and fix a terrible home dye job (l’oreal hilift is AWFUL) that almost ruined my hair. Unfortunately my roots had grown out, the red tone was turning into a faded orange, and I could not afford another session with my stylist. I took a chance (and lots of research/detailed communication via email) on esalon and I. LOVE. IT!!!! The price can’t be beat and the color looks amazing. Looking forward to remaining a fabulous, Ann Margret ginger with my subscription.

The colorist did pick a very good color for my hair and the condition of my hair is better than with other dyes I have used. The color works with my natural high and low lights and it just appears more natural than what I used in the past. I am very impressed with this product.

Ok, I've been colouring my hair for some time, but I have to say, your colour is absolutely the best! The colour has minimal smell, no stinging, no burning, no redness to face. The colour turned out to be the best colour I have ever had since I was a BABY. I mean it, the absolute best!!! Will I reorder, definitely!! Keep up the good work!!

I used just the root formula this time and I was very pleasantly surprised at just how well it colored, matched and how far the one bottle went. I have very thick long hair and the one bottle covered all my roots with plenty to spare for the shampoo cap. I was pretty nervous my roots would come out darker than the rest of my faded hair but I did the shampoo cap, as recommended, and the end result was beautifully even, shiny hair! I am very impressed!

I have tried sealing hair color 3x now really like my color dark brown Mahogany and copper I order the 15 dollar gloss color to my next order and I have changed the color Parameters for my next order hope I like it
And one more thing my hair color fades nicely 😁and it doesn’t smell as bad as store bought hope you like it too

Three years later, and after several domestic and job relocations, I am still a loyal eSalon customer. I am 50 years old and have been complimented by numerous people that my hair color looks fabulous, natural, and my hair texture remains intact. eSalon has made it easy, convenient and affordable to anyone no matter where you live.
