As someone who used to flip flop between paying a lot to upkeep red color at a salon or the alternative (box color 😱) this is the perfect shade AND the perfect price for keeping my red consistent and beautiful year round.

Better color than when I was young with one single gray hair. I love it. It is very difficult to rinse out completely before my hot water runs out, but it's worth the double rinsing.

My hair color is strawberry blonde. Most people are aware that red hair dye can either look very phony or it fades very fast. I find that the custom color that was made for me looks 100% natural. The coloring has highs and lows. I love the color.

I love the esalon color and get a lot of compliments. It's pretty easy to use.
I have a suggestion. If you didn't make the box so fancy and pkg the inside less fancy, it could save a lot of money for Esalon and could be passed down to the customer. At least offer it for those who would be happy for the savings, but still have the nicer hair color.

I've been coloring my own hair for 30 years and have never quite had such wonderful results. My hair looks and feels like Rula Lenska. Remember the "Don't hate me because I'm beautiful" commercial for some hair product years ago? It's lovely color and seems to have a lot of depth, but it's the way my hair and scalp feel that has made me the happiest. Anyway. I'm hooked. Call me thankful.

I had been using a boxed color from the health food store, but the color faded out and got brassy so fast! I was coloring my hair too often as a result, and causing damage. As soon as I switched, my color was better, stayed longer, didn't get brassy, and my hair was softer, too! The guidance esalon provided was also very helpful. I could not be more pleased.

The colorist really listens to what your desired color is and develops a custom color based on your current color, coloring history and desired outcome. The products are not harsh and are low odor. Great stuff!

these lovely colors have a lot of product! if you have had trouble with other hair colors not having enough this will definitely cover it for you. the color was nice and pretty close to what I was hoping for, have had lots of compliments from people on it. all around good stuff, only con for me is it does smell quite strong so good ventilation is needed. I would recommend this hair color to others.

This is the greatest color I've ever used. My niece told me at Christmas. "Aunt Ann I think you've found your perfect color! It's beautiful!" My cousin also said my hair color was so beautiful and natural.

Works better to cover my greys than any store bought hair color (expensive line, or cheaper line). Well worth the price since I have never had it NOT cover my grey hairs the very first time.

I've used this color system for a good 4 years now and LOVE IT! comes straight to my door and color is great. If you want to tweak the color, just email the changes and bam! its done.

I used to have highlights put in at the salon but it's so expensive and my ends were getting very dry. I thought I'd try this system for a change. I have to admit that the first time I was a little nervous as I was going to a new color, but I was so pleased with the results. I've now used my second kit and my third will be here next month. With my last shipment I added the moisture mask and it worked a treat!

I absolutely love this product. Every other dye I’ve had always would itch and bother me, but I don’t feel anything bothersome when I dye my hair anymore. The color comes out so nice and rich and it barely makes my hair fall out like other dyes would. My roots are still a little lighter than my ends, but it could be because I had previous color or I simply didn’t get it on there evenly but it doesn’t even look bad! I love this hair dye

My head was covered with silver/grey all over but I see none and made my hair very silky and smoothe!

One thing I love is that you get to fine-tune your color. It took a couple times of me coloring to figure out exactly the color tone I wanted. Nothing I had to "fix". I just needed minor color, and time applied changes. The third time it is exactly what I want!

I was really skeptical to go back to DIY "box-color" again, especially since going blonder this way in the past left me looking yellow... but this was much different. Salon-quality color (with tons of options), great gray coverage, and leaves hair looking and feeling healthier. Customer service is also great- I wanted to make a slight adjustment to my first color and they delivered exactly what I wanted. Plus... it comes right to your door :) Definitely would recommend!

I always colored my hair brown and it would always fade quickly because I spend a lot of time outside. The Dark Blonde is more like my natural color and I have gotten many compliments on this color choice. My products comes on schedule. I am very pleased with Esalon and their products.

I love the fact that I can color my own hair for a fraction of what I was paying at the salon.. It covers my gray and the coverage lasts. I am very happy with the color. Also, I love the fact that you get all the products I need to do a good job. Love the shampoo and conditioner too.

Well, for the first time in decades, I did my hair color myself. It was an easy process, and the kit was wonderful. I think it turned out really well. I love the color, and will not be adjusting it.
I was a little out of practice, but with everything I needed at my fingertips, it was not as hard as I thought it would be.

I absolutely love the colour, mahogany, chestnut with brown. I have very thick curly hair with the dreaded grey roots. I get fantastic cover using root cover and when I need a boost, ends cover. The results are always very good, and lasts until my next treatment. I love the option to change or alter the colour when I want to. The colour is rich and vibrant . I have had lots of positive comments , loving it .

This was my 3rd order and it needed some adjustment so I added notes and updated pictures. They saw what I needed and made the adjustment and gave me an additional product to try for free instead of charging me for two bottles like I asked. And it worked excellent. I am a forever fan and customer.
