I was a bit skeptical about trying this product because I assumed it would be just like the boxed hair color found in stores, but I decided to give it a try based on the many good reviews and I am glad I went for it. I love how detailed everything is from picking the right shade down to the directions. The shade was just right, and I am happy with the end result. I will definitely continue using this product.

Love it, I used to go to the hair dresser to dye my grey hair. But now, I do it myself, or I ask one of my friends to do it for me. Great combination of updating with a friend and looking better!

This is the best hair color I have ever used. I was skeptical at first to try eSalon . My hair was brittle and falling out from too much bleach from a previous hair dresser . One use of my mixed eSalon color and there was a world of difference ! Second use I was astounded ! 5 stars for their products!!!

It was really easy to do! Overall I really like the color and my roots look significantly better and all over is lighter. Next time I want to go a bit blonder and a little less golden and more ashy.

I wasn't able to use my first shipment of color because I had just colored my hair with a color I was no longer happy with, so I needed to let it take its course and fade away. Today 12/11 I was finally thought I could go ahead and use the color sent to me. I did and the custom color was spot on. I love the color. It's not too dark, it's more the golden brown I have been wanting. Thanks for getting it right. I have received a second shipment which I am probably not going to use for another six to eight weeks so I think I will skip a shipment and receive shipment in March instead. So nice that you offer that kind of giving the customer the choice to skip a month or even cancel when needed. Great job! Thanks again.

This was my first experience with esalon.com
I loved everything about this experience from start to finish.
I found it helpful to add pictures of my current hair color and a picture of what color I was hoping to achieve.
I had pretty damaged hair from a terrible experience in a salon and was fed up with the salon experience. I was worried coloring my hair again would damage it further.
However after coloring my hair with the esalon kit my hair turned out beautiful, shiny with no fall out and I achieved exactly the color I wanted.
The whole process was very easy and the personalized instructions were very helpful. The color didn't stain my skin and didn't smell of heavy chemicals which I appreciated.
Customer services was excellent.
I will definitely be telling my friends about esalon and using this services again.
I am eager for the tint rinse to be coming back in stock!

I'm so happy I found eSalon. My color lasts, the gray is covered, there is no fading, and my hair has a shine I never achieved with other hair color either boxed or in the salon. When I say gray I really mean white so this product is a keeper!

It’s been many years since I dyed my own hair, so my poor bathroom took a beating. Purple hair dye everywhere! Haha color turned out gorgeous, not as purple as I hoped, but wasn’t dissapointed because it was going on top of brown and I’m realistic. All in all, I’m sold! Will continue to use esalon!

This is the first time ordering esalon and coloring my hair by myself. I was afraid it would be difficult but it wasn't! I was surprised of the simple and yet clear instructions. I loved how the color turn up. My hair looked shiny and soft. I will recommend the product to family and friends.

Ive only used my stylist after trying box color and having repeated failure! So I was very sceptical in choosing this product but so tired of spending 120.00 to get my hair colored. So I decided to give it a try and I’m totally impressed in my results ! My husband even said my hair stylists did a really good job on my hair! He didn’t know lol.. I’m all in now! This color was a perfect match for my hair. I had to get my husband to help me apply the back because it would have taken me 40 minutes to apply the color to my roots, because I have really thick hair. But that's just to be expected. Amazing color.

I was really impressed with this product. I have had my hair colored both at home and in the salon. I have not had a time that my scalp didn't get irritated from the chemicals until I used eSalon Custom color set. I was also impressed that I didn't have the color on my scalp and face like I have had with even the salon. The skin protection really did its job. I am definitely going to continue using eSalon for the custom color set. Great job!

I love the convenience of having it delivered. Always able to make slight changes in the color is a great plus. I have dyed my hair for many years and this product is the best I have ever used. It gives me good quality and the color is long lasting.

Just amazing color. I couldn’t be happier with the stylist who does my color. My biggest complaint is just the smell. I have used hair dye for half my life and this stuff is one of the strongest. It makes my eyes water and I basically have to go outside to apply it but wow, you really just can’t beat that color!!!!

I've been ordering from eSalon for 5 years (or a little longer) and it's the best decision I ever made. The color is fantastic and since I get the whole kit and color it's so economical. I'm now having my color delivered every 4 weeks because I have so much gray, so I never have to worry about having color on hand when the roots start shining through. Every 4 weeks it shows up in my mailbox in a very nice box with the stain guard, stain removal, 2 pair of gloves and great shampoo and conditioner! Love eSalon and I tell everyone about it.

Hannah D is a beast. I came in with medium brown hair with caramel or honey highlights and grays galore. I was looking to go darker brown with a hint of red which i have done numerous times in the past but always at a salon. I've had mixed results previously. When done right, i absolutely LOVE it...other times it came out purple. I left comments about my experiences, what i was looking for and what i thought my choice was. Hannah D responded with a lighter than i had chosen color due to my skin tone from pictures i had posted. She had offered the option that they would take me darker at no charge if it wasn't dark enough for me. The color came in quick after she changed this and needless to say i was nervous. I am no PRO at applying, in fact quite the opposite. My hair was all mangled and i was convinced this was going to be an absolute disaster while waiting for my ten minutes. Despite my ineptitude at application, the color was stunning. I can't believe it came from a box and from someone behind a computer screen with a photo and my crazy description of what i was looking for. Very please, can't wait for my next color change and will certainly continue to use eSalon in the meantime for touchups!

I was using another online color company but my color seemed to start washing away within a week. I thought my hair was growing incredibly fast. With esalon I'm into week 3 with a very small amount of growth showing and the rest of the hair has very nice saturated color still.

I dont know how they do this! I had full color done and at a later time added highlights so my hair was 2 different colors...not to mention it had grown out 3 inches and my natural color is darker. They matched the lighter color perfectly with just a picture and some information. I will never use anything else. No more salons or their high cost...thanks e salon.

I’m so happy that I found e-salon! I hate going to the salon to have my color done, wasting time sitting in the chair making small talk, having yet a different colorist mess up my color, and paying $$$. I love having the control in my hands. I also love not having to go looking in specialty stores to find my products that may or may not be in stock, always in fear of them being discontinued. Also, e-salon is the only direct order custom hair color supplier that offers Demi-permanent color (which is the only thing that works for my hair!). Thank you salon! You’ve made my life easier!

The color isnt always exactly what I was looking for but I end up really liking it. The esalon color is vibrant and lasts a long time. I've had other colors fade fast, even by salons. when I asked about it I was told red colors dont last long but I've found esalon color lasts a lot longer. Very pleased with that!

Update from April 20th, 2017. Now it’s December 2nd, 2018 and I’m still a happy and very loyal customer. I’m so impressed with this company! The stylist are amazing if you have questions or would like to change your color, they are on it! Even if your like me and really don’t know what your doing. They are still patient they’ll even call you to make sure they understand what your trying to say.
My (9 year old) daughter and I buzzed our heads back in January 2018 and donated to Wigs for Kids. I wrote eSalon to let them know I wasn’t going anywhere, I just don’t have any hair to color right now, I wasn’t sure if my account would be deactivated due to lack of use. Instead of a simple reply back I got a heartwarming email in response addressing both myself and my daughter, how selfless we were to donate our hair (her little face lite up when I read her the email), and to show that they support us they said my next order was on them! Wow, what a wonderful company! I will forever be a loyal customer.
