For the FIRST time that I can remember, I don't dread coloring my hair!
The hair coloring kit is amazing. All the necessary tools and instructions are included.
My conversations with the professionals at eSalon via email and phone have been extremely positive and very helpful. The Colorists answered all of my questions with confidence and it was clear to me that these colorists are well educated and know their business.
After discussing my hair color goals with an eSalon professional, I am confident my ultimate hair color is easily within reach.
Along with my next shipment of hair color I will be receiving the light kit. After seeing the results from applying my own hair color, I see no reason why I can't apply highlights as well!!
I recommend watching any relevant "how to" videos that are available. Watching the video on how to apply the light kit highlights was what made me want to order the light kit!
I am impressed with the overall pricing of the products. The introductory pricing for other products besides the basic hair color kit is fantastic. It gives you that incentive to add another "layer" to your hair care/color regimen making the experience even more individualized.
Now I actually look forward to seeing my gray roots! It means I get to color my hair with ease and confidence knowing my results will be amazing!!

I'm really happy with the color. I was red for years and wanted to go back to my natural brown, only to discover more gray than I ever thought I'd expect. After my haircut next week, I'm so looking forward to highlighting it. It's short so it shouldn't be a huge project! But the brown I got is great. My first time was just too dark, but it's great now! Wonderful product. It was so easy to use even as a novice I achieved a beautiful colour. The instruction were really detailed and led me step by step. I bought the accessories for the 1st colour, which I highly recommend, and they are all reusable for my explan. No more shocks at the hair dressers as to how the colour they use is going to turn out.

This is fantastic color! True to what you ordered and the gray coverage is fantastic! I am able to cover “my sparkles” easily and there is not three or more different colors in the hair. In other words as you touch up the roots you are not seeing a different color an inch or so down the hair shaft.
On another note, I do hope that they get a highlight kit soon for my dark color (did I say I love the color?). I would love to give the highlights kit a try!
I will say the one thing that I truly dislike about this kit is the conditioner. I have tried it twice now and the results are the same, I am left with a gummy residue on my hair that is very hard to get out. I had to re-wash my hair several times to remove it. Color is fantastic but not the conditioner.

I love my color and my hair! This is so different and better than boxed color and easier than buying all your supplies from a beauty supply store. I received 2 bottles one color for my roots and the other for my ends. They ask your skin tone, eye color etc. It had a low odor and included everything I needed except a bowl, which I already had, it did come with bottles. I loved the tips and videos it made it easier to do myself. When I rinsed my hair wow did it feel weird, like plastic it was all stuck together. I was nervous but after using the shampoo for like 4 minutes solid it felt normal again. I used the conditioner also for a good 5 minutes and after it was all dry it felt softer and silkier than before. I also followed the instructions to mix water around on your hair for 5 minutes before you rinse. I love it and will be using it again and again!

I've colored my hair using E-Salon 3 times now, and it's been perfect every time. I love the kit. The instructions are personalized, everything needed is included. I did, however, buy the additional coloring tools and cape. My hair comes out exactly the way I expected it. After my first color, I requested the colorist to warm up the cool black with a hint of "espresso brown," which was done and is now my favorite custom color. Perfect. I highly recommend.

I am no hairdresser but with the step by step and tips, this was AWESOME! It turned out GREAT and I am SO happy! Can't wait to be a lifelong member. My picture looks like my haircolor when I first met my husband. Don't change a thing! My colorist is AWESOME! TALENTED! WONDERFUL!.....I will never have to dread making another hair appointment. I have used hair dye from shops for years so was curious to try this and didn't have high expectations. I have been very pleasantly surprised, the coverage was great, the colour is beautiful and its now 3 wks since I applied it and its still looking great. I will be purchasing again 🙌

I do like the color. I really want to continue but right now I am in the process of having surgery. I have already had 2 major surgeries and Tuesday the 16th I have another major surgery coming up.
I have had high pressure in both eyes and the medicine has stopped working. I have to have a two hour surgery to put a stint in my eyes. Both eyes. One at a time.
I will get back to you guys when it is all over and ready to continue with my coloring.

This company is top notch! From the beginning of filling out their questionnaire and letting them know what you want, they really listen. I ordered a color and esalon contacted me because they said based on what I said I wanted, the color I picked was too dark for my complexion. They were happy to make it for me but wanted to see if I wanted to change the color since I really didn't know what I wanted. I put my trust in their hands and felt good about it. When I received my order I was so impressed! Everything was personalized with my name and my color creation. I just colored my hair 2 nights ago. It was nice that after rinsing everything out and using the shampoo and conditioner packets they included, I didn't have the usual smell like I just got done coloring my hair that I get from the normal box colors. After I dried my hair and styled it, it feels so nice and looks shiny and healthy. I'm very impressed with this company and the quality and care they put into their products and their customers! I'm excited to try some of their other products too! I'll give my honest reviews on anything I try. I make my purchases based on real reviews and I'm sure you do too :-)

I don't have enough space for all the positives; my color is PERFECT; the directions are CLEAR; I ordered my first kit too close to my last color application and communicating via email with my colorist, my 2nd kit was REFUNDED and now I'm on the correct schedule, no fault of eSalon. The formulation DID NOT BURN my scalp-color sessions at the salon used to be torturous because my scalp would burn and itch. NOW I'M FREE TO COLOR WHEN I WANT, WITH NO BURNING AND A FLUFFIER WALLET!!!! Happy, happy, happy. -Cheryl L.

This is the best hair colour I have ever used and I have been colouring my hair for 26 years. The colour does not fade it continues to look good months after it was applied....I have not recoloured every 9 weeks. In fact if it was not for the "silver" roots growing in I would not need to buy it again.
Even my husband thinks it is great, pays me compliments that my hair looks so good !

Easy to follow instructions and the sticker that comes with the instructions makes it very easy to pin up the instruction leaflet to a mirror or shower cabinet so they are easy to view and follow whilst using the gloves for the application process. Very simple but brilliant idea.

I can’t believe how easy this was- I did have a friend coaching me through it but still I can’t believe how well it covered all my bleached ends and how NATURAL it looks. 10/10 would recommend and use again.

I love the color and the results were perfect. I was hesitant at first but thought why not give it a try. Sure happy I did. The color was just what I wanted and the ease of the application was simple. My hair feels great everyday and still looks as true as the day I did it. I don’t let just anyone put color in my hair. I love my color so when the white started fading my red I just wanted to brighten it back up. Several stylist got it wrong I was a burnt orange color instead of my strawberry blonde. So I was nervous to say the least to try this. This color was perfect and easy to apply! I am will be a customer for life!

I love that everything I need to color my hair is in the box. The instructions are easy to follow & even have a little sticky tab to hang it up for quick reference. Love my colour. I get so many compliments. My hair is waist length so application can be tricky and the hints tips, bespoke instructions and videos really help. I no longer colour the bathroom as well!!!
The only downside is that with such long thick hair, one bottle has to stretch a bit when blending after a root colour.
Still the best colour at the best non salon price and my hair looks healthier than ever!!! Copes well with swimming pool chlorine too!

Frankly, I was afraid when the kit arrived. It took me months to pull away from "the little box." But I needed a better option...the grey was becoming too apparent and I just didn't have time to go to my hairdresser who is more than 1 hour away. And so, finally, I did it. And I am so glad that I did. The results are perfect. Thank you.

The ordering was quick and easy. There were so many detailed choices for personalized color which made the process feel very individualized and unique for me. The package arrived within a few days, and included everything needed to make hair coloring at home a satisfying experience. Some details I appreciated: the odor was pleasant, not overbearing like drugstore brand colors; the formula was thick enough that it didn't drip like other brands do; the step by step instructions with diagrams were helpful; the two pairs of non-latex gloves, stain guard, stain remover, and shampoo and conditioner were the little extras that made the kit feel special; the packaging itself was even nice! I am thrilled. I don't have that much gray, just at the temples, but my colorist was highlighting my hair with bleach, not tints. We started with tints and somehow it ended up bleach and she never brushed it over the gray, so my gray still showed, but I had bleachy hair. My hair has been fried looking due to the harshness of the chemicals. Now.... my hair color looks exactly like it did when I was a young girl, it is shiny, it is healthy looking and I still have my highlights around my face as the gray went lighter than the rest. It doesn't look colored, it just looks like me and I look years younger. The match on the color and what I wanted was absolutely perfect. Whoever did it, you are good. Thank you again and I am a loyal customer.

Cannot believe how great this product is and that I did it at home. The color is fabulous, never seen so many different color highlights before. My hair was so soft and silky. There was NO horrible smell. I am a cancer patient so that was one reason why I tried this
product. Totally love the color. This color makes me look and feel younger.

I'm so happy with my eSalon color. I may make adjustments from time to time, but I'm just so happy with your product! My 15 year-old granddaughter colors my hair and I love the time spent with her, so that was a bonus. I have saved so much money over going to a salon vs. home-coloring which makes me very happy.

Blew me away. I opened the box and found more than I expected! Esalon has thought of everything! The colour is rich and has dimension. I did roots and ends and feel like I've had a make-over!
The tools I added to my order brought it all together with clips, cape, mixing bowl and brush. They even included timer and stick-uo detail instructions. It would be impossible to mess up with this product and support.
And the price is so reasonable.

I have to admit, it was fun doing the color survey and deciding on which color for my hair. I decided to stay with my natural/original salon color and I have to say, eSalon got it even better!. The color and tone are exactly what I was hoping for and the grey coverage has been great. I am three weeks in to this color and I do not have any grey coming through. That never happens. Normally I would pay my stylist $125.00 for color and highlights and I have very short hair. That is before the tip! I followed the directions closely, only doing my roots and then combing through. This makes all the difference in getting the desired results. I am so excited to receive my next kit.

Ok so I had an absolute home dye disaster which my stylist didn't want to fix! Having stripped my hair using a home dye removal kit, nothing would stay on my hair to replace the colour. I explained all this to esalon and my first kit arrived..as well as being in a funky box and customised with my name, the product was pretty awesome too! I wanted to go dark as I have done previously but was advised to do this gradually so opted for a lighter shade first. I was amazed how natural it looked but was lighter than I wanted so I'm now on my 3rd adjustment to get it to the shade I wanted and today I have my perfect shade, the most natural hair dye you can get, including what I've had done at salons, I can't rate esalon highly enough, I'm just so pleased, not only with my hair but the service is amazing too...you chose the frequency and they contact you before it's prepared to make sure you are happy with the order, they listen to any adjustments needed and then update you when it's mixed. Will never buy box dyes again!!! Thanks so much
