My hair is 25% grey but was red. I've been trying to match a childhood hair sample. My colorist hit it spot on by the second try! The color is deep and multi dimensional, unlike drugstore brands. My color of red is very copper, which I understand is a very fragile dye to maintain. I use some Tinted Love on it once a week and it stays great. This is easy to use, it doesn't require you to be a beautician "wannabe".

I was a bit nervous to try although I have colored for many years, and I was quite pleased with the results, the color was just right for me! The cape and clips are of good quality, glad for the timer!! All this for $30.00, heck of a deal!!

It has been years sense I last colored my hair. I decided that it was just becoming so dull. My bits of gray didn’t bother me so much, but I got it all with eSalon’s color. I got a very flattering color, shine and no gray. The color is so much like my original no one has even noticed. I’m one happy camper.

The color blended extremely well with the color I already had on my hair. My stylist couldn’t tell the difference. It covered the gray to my satisfaction. I will definitely place a reorder.

The whole experience has surpassed my expectations - from the personalised bottles to the end result! I have used both box dyes and salon colouring for over a decade, and I'll never go back to off-the-shelf box dyes after this. I loved that there was a different colour for roots, giving a more even colour. I worried the red would be too dark for me as I usually choose a brighter red but it is absolutely perfect. I knew I would love it as soon as I began rinsing my hair and saw a beautiful deep red on the gloves. I did worry a bit after using the included shampoo as my hair immediately felt awful, like it had been bleached. However, as soon as I used the included conditioner, my hair instantly felt healthy again. Looking forward to continuing to use esalon for my future colour, and planning on buying the shampoo and conditioner to keep the vivid colour as long as possible, very happy with my choice. I think after all these years, I've finally found the colour I love!

This was my first time ever dying my base color and ever doing any dye at home. I'm a very pleased with the results! I asked for a medium brown in a demi, and I submitted a pic of myself and feel like my colorist really did a good job in giving me a formula that flatters my skin and eye color. I was covering some highlights and will say that the color took slightly differently in those places than on my virgin hair, but it gave the overall look more dimension so I'm ok with that. I would use this product again!

I'm a professional hair stylist and I specialize in color and I absolutely love this do it yourself color, I am the first person to tell clients not to use at home color because of the many disadvantages that come along with it but esalon color has definitely changed my opinion of at home color, I've never seen salon grade color come in a box that you can do yourself until now, I recommend this to everyone that interested in getting the same results you'd get in a salon but with the ease of staying at home and the price of most at home color you'd find at the store, it is delivered within days off ordering and it's exactly what they say it will be! The first time I used this product, I was amazed at the correct color right away. With other brands, my hair would be too dark for a week. This product gave me lots of shine and lasting color.

Thank you for mixing my color! So far it seems great, though I've only had it in for a couple of days now. I will see how it lasts over the coming weeks. I may request that it be a little darker in the future, but I want to give it some time and see how it goes.
The shampoo included in the box irritated my scalp, unfortunately, so I will be using my own shampoo/cond. next time around, which are color safe.

I love the fact that if I am wanting to change or tweek the color all I have to do is ask. It sure does beat spending $70 to have my hair colored and not be sure what I am going to get. Thanks eSalon for such a wonderful product.

This is great! Only coloring product that tones down the reddish undertones that over the counter hair coloring hasn't done for me in a long time. I have stubborn grays that refuse to accept the color. But with eSalon every gray is covered and this color doesn't fade. No more spending over $100 and a drive to the salon. My hairdresser was surprised at the great color and online support from an internet product. Will never go back to spending and driving when I get perfect results every time in the comfort of my home.

I've been going to a colorist for years and then my friend told me about eSalon. I couldn't be happier with the results and I feel confident that any changes I want in the future will be just as great.
Update: It's been a year and I still love the color and quality I get from my esalon products.

This product was incredibly easy to use. I haven't done my own hair for a few decades so I was a bit worried but the instructions were very clear and the product, easy to use.
I have grey that I'm trying to cover and my hair is tough to take color anyway, and unfortunately about a week after I colored my hair, my grey was already showing through again. I followed the instructions but have the feeling I need to leave it on a bit longer to have the color stick.
Other than that, it did not fry my hair. It smelled good and was convenient to use.
I would recommend this product but I'm still hoping for some better grey coverage. Otherwise I will likely not continue to use the product because that's the whole point of coloring my hair!

With some help from ESalon‘s Colorist my color was perfect!! Was concerned the color would be to dark, I contacted customer service and she adjusted my color. Absolutely exactly what I was looking for 😉

Perfect, lasts longer than any other color I have used in the past. I have red hair and color usually fades quickly, not with this product and the color made for me is perfect.

I have been using esalon for a while now and I have always been pleased with the results. I get compliments on my hair all the time even from strangers. I have always tried to take good care of my hair and esalon custom hair color seems to be the key to giving me the right color that I need. Covers the gray as it says it will. I have to admit that the hairs around my temples and ears, you know the fine hairs sometime lose their color early but then again, nothing is perfect. Overall this is a great product.

I have done in-salon color and on my own...this is by far the best. I feel like I have more control over my color than in the salon, and my hair is not dry as can be like after an at home color. Best of both worlds!

As someone with dark curly hair its hard to find a colour that blends all over, without going to a hair salon on a monthly basics. I was pleasently surprised to find esalon .No more patchy bits, most importantly on the regrowth. Plus I love the fact you can lighten your colour as you go along, very important for me as the greys pop up.

My initial color at the eSalon office turned out beautifully, yet I wanted to amp it up a bit more. Through my online account, it was super easy to upload a photo I had found and adjust my color. With my next kit I was able to achieve the EXACT results I wanted AT HOME! You would never know I did it myself, it is exactly what I had envisioned :-)

This was my first time coloring my hair at home and I am so happy with how it turned out. I have been disappointed with my fancy, expensive salon after consistently feeling like the color wasn’t what I’d described as wanting. But no more! I hadn't in all honesty expected much. After all it's a hair color not a style cut or complete change. This is how impressed I am by it. My partner noticed I had done something to my hair. In ten years he's hardly ever noticed. This is even move amazing as it was only a small colour change. The shine is beautiful.

I was skeptical that the color wouldn’t be right because I had recently had my color corrected with permanent color, and they sent a demi permanent with a glaze for my ends. I couldn’t be happier with the results. My roots perfectly blend into my old color and naturally fade lighter to my ends. Exactly what I wanted!

My first experience using the eSalon custom hair colour was awesome! Yes it was messy (I am not a professional colourist!) Yes it smells a lot, (however, its to be expected as the colour is permanent)! I've coloured my hair for many years, I will continue to do so in the future, my only change is that I will be using eSalon products!

Easy to use. Color was great. Has faded by my temples which are gray. Most colors are exact when I use them till they fade and leave me with a red tint which I don’t care for. But love your product.

I liked using this company and was amazed at how good the results were especially as I hadn’t uploaded a pic of my (then) current colour!
Only cancelled as I chose a colour very close to my natural colour so when it started to grow out I could stop colouring it. Would highly recommend to a friend nonetheless.

I wasn't sure what to expect, but figured for the low cost was not going to have high hopes. The color I selected online was spot on how my hair turned out. It was really easy to follow. It has been a month now and the color still looks like it did the day it was completed. Only thing I would recommend is making sure you do this in a room/bathroom that has a window or really good ventilation. Very happy with the whole process.
