The instructions are clear and precise. Actually enjoyed doing the process. The end result was soft and covered much of the gray. Color needs to be tweaked to a lighter shade for me. Much more economical than the beauty parlor!

I wanted to get the warm red out and go with a cooler brown-gold, and that's the result I got. I did some caramel highlights with your kit around my face for even more dimension and to ease my transition to a darker shade. Much appreciated.

I used eSalon for the first time 1 month ago and I am very happy with the results. I have been coloring my hair for over a decade. I'm 51 now and starting to get a few more grays. The drugstore color just wasn't cutting it. I would color my hair, and after about a month the grays would start showing through and my ends would start looking brassy. I decided to give eSalon a try. The packaging was great & I received my order really quickly. The instructions were very thorough and very easy to understand. Immediately after I colored my hair I loved it! eSalon really got the color correct and it looked really natural! After a month, my color still looks fantastic no brassiness showing through- it's already lasting longer than my drugstore brand. And definitely no grays are showing through. I will be using eSalon in the future!

As with any "home coloring kit," I'll admit, I was skeptical...
I carefully selected the closest description of my natural color (of which has not been dyed in over five years - the silver "highlights" were getting to me!) along with a photo to include with my order.
The kit came so quickly!
And EASY? SO easy to do myself!
The color is an EXACT match to my own - minus those "highlights." My husband and mother we're amazed with the match too!
I've received a few compliments on the shine over the past five weeks, but no mention of, "did you color your hair?" Not one single person ever knew I had colored it.

Very pleased with purchase, shade is exactly what I was looking for. Covered up grey and my hair finally matches my eyebrows perfectly! Requested light cool beige brown. This is always a tricky color for me to achieve at home, box colors are always too brassy, and either too dark brown, or too blonde. Trying to mix it myself with other dye brands was difficult to get the right balance of gold and ash tones. I needed to match my virgin roots to previously dyed ends. But this was really easy and painless, and color came out beautiful and even!

I have always bought off the shelf dye for my hair untill I read an advert for eSalon and decided to give it a go. I would never go back now, the stylists listed to what you ask for and my colour is perfect. Its long lasting and unlike shop bought dye it does not wash out ruining your towels for the next 5 washes.
Highly recommend.
The shampoo and conditioner leaves my hair in great condition and often get vomments about how shiny it is 😊

I'm so happy with my color! My hair is healthier after using the product, which is amazing. The color is vibrant and beautiful. One of my favorite things about it, is that it doesn't bleed on my towels after. The second month, I requested some adjustments to my color, and it was exactly what I wanted! I also purchased the Smoothing Balm, and it's perfect for frizz and static, and smells wonderful!

I’ve been coloring my hair for years and typically try to stick with the reds. Unfortunately I could never find a permanent red that didn’t wash out within 6 weeks. I have been so impressed with this!! My stylist mixed a color that worked my skin tone AND the orangish color that was in my hair was. I love the color and will continue to use eSalon!

I love the dimension in my hair color. It's gorgeous. My stylist, a master color specialist, said it looked natural, though I missed spots at the back, neck area of my head. She was going to mention eSalon to a family member who is finding it increasingly difficult to get out and about.

I’ve colored my hair 3 times using esalon.. I love it! My color has been adjusted twice and now it is exactly what I wanted. I could never get that from a box. It also lasts. I’m naturally blonde and red is hard to keep, using esalon it is much easier

I've had problems with red being too dominant when I've tried other hair coloring products. This product didn't disappoint!!! I would highly recommend eSalon b/c they really work with you to get the right color you are trying to achieve!!! You get your own personal stylist!!! How cool is that?

Very easy to use. Still working on my color but all the ones I have tried match my curren color and I am trying to go s little lighter. I really like the fact it is already in my cabinet when I need to color my hair. I dislike shopping so this convienience is great.

I had never dyed my hair myself until trying eSalon, but decided to try out a demi-permanent formulation to test a color change without a big commitment. The first color attempt didn’t come out like I’d imagined, but eSalon’s customer service and stylists were *amazing* and helpful. They reformulated a custom color for me and shipped it out immediately- it was perfect! For my next order, I switched to a permanent formulation so I can enjoy the color longer. I love eSalon and recommend them whenever I hear someone considering coloring their hair.

I saw eSalon’s ad on FB and decided to give it a try since I had recently went back to all one color. The selection process for choosing color and working with their site to give info for choosing my color was easy and when I used it for my first application ...they did a great job customizing my color! When it arrived, I was VERY IMPRESSED with the packaging (very cute and personalized) AND it had easy instructions to follow and they thought of EVERYTHING including stain protector for my hairline !! My hair is very shiny after coloring and not dry. Ususally after coloring my curls won’t act right for 2-3 weeks. Not with eSalon coloring!! From the very first time I washed it and styled it my curls look fantastic! The color covers my grays and last well on my ends that had previously been “ombre’d”. It took maybe 2 colorings ( month after month )to take and stop fading on the ombré ends. I’m very pleased and will continue to recommend to friends. This IS NOT like the cheap dyes in stores. And in my opinion better than pro coloring that’s been used in me from colorists....especially the shine and my curls afterwards !!

I had been noticing eSalon advertising their hair color for a while but was hesitant to try something new. I finally decided in December 2017 to try it. I absolutely love it. They know what they are doing! My hair color looks so natural and it completely covered my grey. I've had quite a few compliments since I've used it. I've also noticed that I don't need to color as often as I did when I used the store bought brand. The color seems to last much longer even the grey coverage. I can't say enough good things about this product. Now I look forward to coloring my hair because I know the results will be simply amazing! Thanks eSalon!

I was afraid I would regret attempting to do this myself. I found it very easy to apply and it covered my white hair on the first try!! Plus my hair felt so awesome afterwards using the shampoo and conditioner provided. I also used the stain guard and no crazy color in the wrong spots..

The color mixed for me was my exact hair color. I loved that my hair after dying felt soft like I had never put dye in it.
Only complaint is I get to many shipped to me. I don't need to dye my hair every 6 weeks.

I needed something to cover my gray while giving me shine and natural tones. This product did all that asked for. It covered my gray and my hair looks healthy and shiny. I won't go back to box color ever again. What I love most is that I get a salon result at home for less money. What's not to love about that!

The shade was exactly what I was hoping for, I loved it!. My hair felt healthy after the process, and I certainly can't say that with other box brands. I loved the packing, and I felt the instructions were instrumental in obtaining an even all over color. I am definitely satisfied and will not be going to back to the store to buy hair color anymore!

I had customized a color and was super excited. Then later on, I had major doubts. I received my order super fast and after pondering over it for a couple days, I decided to give it a shot. I'm so glad I did!! I love the color, super easy to do, and in the notes,(with adding a recent photo) I explained that I'm not sure how my custom color would turn out but I didn't want a drastic change. My stylist nailed it!! I'm extremely happy with everything about this company and would highly recommend eSalon to anyone!

I decided to give it a try. I've been coloring for 20+ years and for the most part, do it myself. I've always loved the professional color that I get when I go to a salon, but between scheduling and making time to do it, not to mention the cost, it doesn't happen often. I now have the professional color and can do this my self on my schedule. The coverage is incredible! The grays are gone! Thank you!

I have used he custom hair color several times and love the result. The first one was almost what I wanted. I asked for a slight change to which you gladly complied. Now the color is absolutely perfect. My hair is gray with a lot of silver with some white on the crown. Now the color also hides the white and the overall effect is exactly what I wanted.

I love the custom color and instructions made just for me. eSalon has provided me with a less expensive, high quality product with a personal touch. While we were working on my custom color, a very patient eSalon stylist called and discussed it with me over the phone. She was extremely helpful and made it all into a great experience!

I love the color that I am using. I have contacted my personal hair consultant a couple of times to make minor changes, and have always been very satisfied with the communication and the results. I have loved everything I have purchased from eSalon. The products are well made and perform as good as or better than expected. I would highly recommend anything from their site.

I just finished using my adjusted color and this time it is just right! Just the perfect amount of red and brown ..looks very natural and multi-dimensional. The red is there but it is not too bright or artificial looking and the brown is not too dark this time. I'm loving it!

I'm happy with the lighter shade you sent me. I ended up applying most of the colour straight on to my hair and not just on the roots as you suggested partly because my hair is quite short and also there was not much colour left on my hair. I'm happy with the result ... the grey is starting to show through abit after 3 weeks but the effect is quite pleasing with it being lighter. Would you advise me to leave it on slightly longer next time to increase the colour?

I am currently copper red. The first color I was sent didn't quite cover my grays and was too unnatural for the look I wanted. I sent notes to my stylist and the second color came back perfect. I get compliments all the time, even from natural red heads.
My regular stylist asked my mom where I was going now. My mom said she didn't know, but my hair looked great.

I ordered my hair color kit from esalon even though I wasn't sure I would obtain the same results I normally receive at the salon, but took the chance anyway. My initial hair color kit arrived with everything I could possibly need to achieve a professional looking hair color. Still, I was so afraid it would not turn out well and I would have to run to the salon to get it repaired, that it sat for months before I finally got up the courage to go ahead and color my hair, that was about a month ago. To my amazement the color looks as good as if my own colorist did it, and at a month post colorant, it still looks shiny and the color is still as vibrant as the first day after coloring. Of course, I'm using the shampoo and conditioner made for color treated hair which was sent with my kit, as well as the other hair care products that were in the kit to make the color last longer. This is amazing, esalon is amazing, and all for much less than I paid to have my hair colored at the salon. Now I can't wait to try your highlighting kit, I'm eagerly awaiting its release for purchasing, don't forget to email as soon as I can purchase it. Oh, and by the way I restarted my color kit shipments on autoship, since I had to cancel them until I used the initial color kit, otherwise I would have had them stacking up in a closet, lol. If you think you can't color your hair on your own, with esalon you can, they have made it so easy, everything you need to color your hair is in the kit you receive. All you have to do is fill out their form online, which according to your answers, helps esalon's colorist make up a kit according to your hair color preference. Trust me the color turns out beautiful, try it, you'll love it too.

I didn’t have high expectations simply because my experiences with at home coloring had been mediocre at best. But when I opened the box and saw the detailed instructions I was pleasantly surprised. The application process was easy and I was very happy with the final results. The gray coverage was great and I am happy at how long the color has lasted. I’ll definitely be recommending it to friends and will continue doing for myself.

You guys are amazing. I'm once again so happy with my new color. I have no idea how you do it without actually seeing me. LOL. This new color is even better than I imagined. Lots of gold, beautiful, silky, always easy to use. I have told my friends about using the left over color and rinsing it through the hair for 2 min. before washing and no one ever heard of that.
