I've been using the custom color since July and I've never been happier with the consistence of my color tone. Prior to that I was at the hair dresser every 4 weeks and the color was fading and my hair was drying out. That's not happening with eSalon. So glad I found out about this.

I was really skeptical when I first got my box. I have really thick hair, like, it takes me two hours to do pretty much anything with it, thick hair. I usually use two boxes of normal colour because one isn't enough. I ended up being very pleasantly surprised. The formula was kind of like a creme texture that was easier to apply. The biggest surprise however was how my felt when I was rinsing. Normally, my hair has a post treatment, fried sort of feel to it. With this, it was quite the opposite. My hair had a nice, soft texture. The reason I give it a 4 instead of a 5, however, is because of the colour. That isn't to say that the colour was bad; it just wasn't quite what I was expecting. The final colour is kind of like a warm maple syrup colour, and I was aiming for more of a Sophie Turner, ginger toned hue. All in all, I am very impressed with the quality of the product.

I'm 70 years old with hair 4 inches past my shoulders. Naturally curly. Even the stylist at Mario Triccosi complimented me on the color. It looks perfectly natural.

I have struggled with find the perfect fall shade for my hair. I was matched with dark brown and the color came out perfect! Not to mention it is so shiny and healthy. I am in love!

I love the way it makes my hair feel! It's shiny and silky. It's gonna take a little tweaking of the recipe to get the right color. It was close though.

Sorry for writing this so late. But I did write a review on Facebook. My daughter is a stylist and when I asked her to put the color in my hair, she said " Ok Mom, what have you got this time?". She was impressed that everything was included with the color kit. But after she put the color in...Wow! The color was so rich and beautiful. My hair had not looked this "alive" in years. I loved it! And my stylist daughter was impressed! She said she was going to start having her clients look eSalon up. Thank you! I will be definitely recommending your product!

I was worried about trying to color my hair myself, but i needed a touch up in between my coloring appointments. It was so easy and the color was perfect. They do a great job making sure you get the right color and that level of care and customer service makes me a huge fan.

The color is gorgeous. It comes with lots of supplies ....everything you can think of....delivered to your door on a schedule. No more running from store to store if they are out of my color. Bonus they perfectly tweak the formula if you just ask. The only thing I wish they would do is improve the conditioner and give you more.

My colorist is always able to adjust my color to accommodate my changing tastes. Even the slightest ones....and people notice. I get compliments all the time. Love that!!

It's just like going to the salon but less expensive and you have the option to adjust color before each shipment is sent....Color last for me and I have a lot of gray roots to cover...Love the Product!!

I have been for years trying to get the color that I really want and not have to go to a shop and spend my time and lots of money. As my hair continue to gray I don't want to look like a zebra with my roots looking one way and the rest another. This product leaves my hair soft, lovely and lasting.

I can't believe how well this color works for me. Although I still need practice getting my roots covered, the whole experience was pretty easy and hassle free.....and the color (mine's dark brown with some red in it) is every bit as natural looking as what I get in my salon.

I have colored my hair for around 20 years now, including mixing my own colors. The eSalon group has been easy to work with and if I wish to make a slight change in the color they make it very easy for me. Not to mention my hair is so soft when I'm done.

I'm a natural medium blonde. Prior to using eSalon color I had a few blonder highlights with some gray in the temple areas. My custom hair color choice was the Medium Blonde (Natural Copper). It is a beautiful, natural looking light reddish blonde. My hair is so shiny. I've had many compliments from family and strangers. Love it!!!

This was the perfect perfect color for my hair and I love that it has hardly faded or shown my gray hair through. With over the counter box dyes it would be only 2 weeks before my red undertones would be back. I love this hair color!

I love, love, love this hair color! It was so easy to apply and I was tickled happy about how nicely everything was packaged. Gray coverage has always been hard to maintain for me (3C/4A Curly, African American Hair). After blow drying and flat ironing, I noticed subtle highlights and a shine that is not flat like other store bought, box color systems. I find that color fades quickly and doesn't always play well with the oils and lotions used for maintenance of curly/kinky hair, so time will tell how this holds up three to four weeks from now, but the initial impression is all good!

Love that you can upload a photo! My big worry was that I picked a shade too dark and sure enough, my specialist said that based on my photo they were making adjustments! The color they sent was perfect!!!!

I am very pleased with the hair colour. It makes my hair so glossy, and the colour stays rich until my next colouring. My tint is very dark, with a purple bluish hue, and this is the first time the colour that doesn't fade. I have gotten so compliments, even from hairdressers at my salon.

I love this hair color, my hair just started turning grey and I was NOT looking forward to coloring. Most all hair colors even professionally applied , they tend to dry your hair follicle and it feels terrible when you wash it. I was so happy that is NOT the case with eSalon's hair color. It leaves my hair feeling full and looks better than ever. Would Highly recommend to anyone who colors their hair.

I've tried many different over the counter hair color and out of them all, e-salon comes closest to my natural color without turning my white hairs magenta in color! I am back to brunette with auburn highlights and I am in love with it. All I have received is compliments.

every time I would buy hair color from a local store, the chemical smell would be so strong I would have to go outside for 20 minutes to be able to breath without getting sick. eSalon's custom hair color has the most mild scent, I was able to stay in 1 room with the door closed! for those of you that are sensitive to chemical smells you truly understand this. My color is now rich and shiny instead of dull after 1 week. My gray's are properly covered and haven't reappeared after the normal 3-4 weeks!

eSalon color and ordering process is fabulous!
I initially contacted eSalon for assistance with correcting my self colored mistake- GREEN HAIR. They suggested and sent a color fix that corrected my green hair mistake; I liked the new color.
After time I wanted a change and contacted eSalon regarding changing my hair color; they walked me through the options and sent the new color, which was perfect!
Also, I use other eSalon products to help maintain my healthy hair. I have used eSalon for a few years and appreciate the consistent service and products. LOVE eSalon products and service!

I loved the color that they have designed for me. I uploaded a picture because I was not sure if I was going too dark for my skin tone. They got back to me right away letting me know that they were sending me something a little lighter. They absolutely sent me the right color. It is beautiful!! I love my color!!

The colour was beautiful, a little darker than my first order, which is what I wanted. Because of that change, that I ordered, they sent me new instructions and those were clear and concise. Gave me even coverage.

At first I ordered Darkest Brown, it was a little to dark. So I had my colorist bring it up a notch to Dark Brown & it is perfect. Really you can barely tell the difference but I can tell it is a little lighter. I did as she recommended & only colored my roots & it looks beautiful.! Thank You
