I LOVE eSalon so much. I've been using it for 3 years now, and don't think I'll ever go back. I just changed hair stylists and my new stylist asked if the color was natural. If she had to ask, I think it's a pretty great/natural match.
I also love that every time I ask for a change if my hair color is getting too warm or brassy, the next batch is perfect. It's not a drastic change, but just the right amount to bring it down a notch. Then we're back to the original recipe.
Because I have very thick and long hair, I get two bottles of color and gloss, and it's still less expensive than going to the salon. I still have my own natural highlights show through, so my hair is never flat and one dimensional. I can't recommend eSalon enough. Give it a try.

Every single hair dye I have EVER used, EVER, has dyed my scalp. It washes out a couple days later, sure, but the scalp gets dyed, Except this one. I'm sat here now, my scalp is it's normal colour and the hair feels AMAZING! It feels gorgeous, soft, and looks gorgeous. Having two dyes to apply is a faff but honestly, for this? Totally worth it!!

I have been very pleased with my custom color. It's always consistent and the auto shipments are spot on. The color is never brassy or streaky. I've colored my own hair for years and have finally found the "just right" product.

It was EASY to use. It did not burn or make my head itch. It still turned out a little to red. It is like a deep chestnut. I was hoping for a little less red but with my hair less red may not be a choice. Thank you very much. I do like it and it is so soft. It did an awesome job covering the grey.

OK I am 75 and was losing my hair. the colorist has changed the formula about 5 times until we got the right shade of copper for me. Great service and awesome high quality product. My hair is shiney and in great shape.

I don't usually do my own dye, but this was probably as easy as it gets. So organized, clear instructions, nice color, no bleeding. Great! Just a bit darker than I wanted but they are already working on lightening it up next time!

The color lasts longer than over the counter hair color products. You can easily adjust the color for season changes; just tell your colorist. Great product!

I love the hair color-is so close to my original-if it wasn't for the gray growing out you couldn't tell the difference between my color and the hair dye. My hairdresser said not to color the ends so they won't get do dark and that was a very good piece of advice.

I love the color that has been mixed for me; it is exactly what I asked for. The first time I colored my hair with eSalon, I didn't get the gray coverage that I needed, but the eSalon colorist listened to my concerns and adjusted both the formula and the instructions to meet my needs. I do have trouble completing each step in the time they say it should take, which I think is a result of working on your own head. Overall I am very happy with my eSalon experience.

I've used the same color for over a year and really like it. It's a good color for me but I like the idea that if I wanted to change the hues a bit I could. This color allows a bit of grow-out with my hair, which is a nice thing. I'll continue to use this product until I go to my "real" color - whatever that is!

I have more than 50% percent gray and eSalon's hair color covers it completely! The color is very natural and they tweeked it to make it perfect for me. My first try with eSalon and I have to say the directions were specific and the tools were very helpful. The hair clips and application brush were really nice. The color I have to say was exactly the color I wanted. It turned out amazing and for Red/copper hair the shine was incredible. This color product did not fade which is what red hair color does within two washes. I a at week #4 after using it and except for my "wisdom roots" the color still looks great. Oh and my hair was and still is in great condition after using eSalon products too.

I had ordered a certain color and when the company got my picture they had said they have chosen a better color than the one I chose according to my pix ! The mix they made was perfect t! Amazing ! As if I went to my hairdresser to have it done! Will be doing it again

I was hesitant about how the whole process would work. How could somebody online match my color so well? After answering the questions and sending pictures and receiving the product, they did exactly that! Covered my gray roots really well. I highly recommend you try it:)

Very little odor. Immediately leaves my hair feeling healthy and shiny, while allowing my natural highlights to show through. This means I don't have that typical flat, dark color you get when you have first colored your hair with store-bought color.

best product i have found to purchase to do it yourself at home. Dark colors are not solid dark like many others from the major manufacturers. You can always comment and have your color changed for the next order. Thanks so much

I love this stuff! I can't afford to get my hair coloured at the salon every 4 weeks, but this stuff does the job just as well. No offensive door and great coverage of grey hair leaving behind healthy hair in the shade you want. Definitely recommend.

I started using eSalon over a year and a half ago when I was trying to reduce household expenses when my husband's position was eliminated. The quality of this product is salon-quality. Even my hairstylist is impressed. Most importantly, the color-match is perfect and their process of making that happen for you is spot-on. The questionnaire is very comprehensive and offers the opportunity of uploading two photos. I made one change to go a bit darker in the fall and simply sent a request and a new photo. Additionally, you set up the frequency and it shows up, beautifully packaged, right on time. I'm 55 and have been putting permanent color on my hair for 25 years. I've also seen the same hairstylist for 25 years. I see her now for cuts and a couple of highlight/lowlight appts. I am silver-gray and that's only for she and I to know. I have continued to use eSalon because of the quality and the service. I have saved hundreds of $$$$! Try it. You'll be impressed.

I just colored my hair on Sunday with a slightly different shade. No one has said anything but I definitely see the difference. It looks very healthy with shine and highlights of red and light golden brown.

I live in a small town that is more then 80 miles away from any place to purchase professional hair color and had to resort to purchasing color from a local chain store and it was terrible. I do love my color. It is very difficult to get the right shades of copper, gold and red that look natural and real with my skin coloring. My hair was much darker red in my youth but I want it to keep it's strawberry blonde tones as I mature and you have got it square on. It also last longer than any other color. I'm getting about 5 wks instead of 2 to 3. Thank you

I have been using the custom hair color for several years. I really like the feature allowing me to message the colorist to adapt the color formula and upload a current picture. I have been able to choose a formula that I like. In addition, the conditioner in the coloring package gives my hair a great feel after coloring. I love it!

Great quality hair colour and so much better than off the shelf products. My hair colour has vibrancy and is longer lasting, and I get calls from my colourist to ensure that I'm happy with the product and to answer any queries that I have. The customized color that they sent me was perfect! I actually first ordered a darker color and sent a picture of what my hair looked like before coloring. Luckily, a stylist contacted me first to make sure I wanted to go as dark as the color I had chosen. She was right, I had chosen too dark of a color and let her make a lighter shade for me. It came out really nice. My hair is now a beautiful shade of brown. It is very shiny and healthy looking. Much brighter, shinier, and a much richer more vibrant color than before. It also completely got rid of my first few grays that I had coming in. I love how the color has alot of dimension to it and looks so natural and healthy. Definitely gives salon quality results. Excellent product and customer service!
