I loved the color. My roots were just a little bit lighter than the other part of the hair so I think I need to leave it on a little bit longer before doing the bottom of my hair

Vengo decepcionandome cada vez que voy a una peluquería. Siempre me cobran super caro y no dan con el color que sea natural y que me guste. Sin esperar nada he pedido aquí el tinte. Pues me ha sorprendido gratamente que aunque con un par de fotos han sido capaz de enviarme un color precioso y que cubre las canas genial. Así que recomendado 100%.

I tried esalon for the first time today. My neighbor helped as I have extremely thick curly long hair.
When I first saw the roots color,and the way it was developing, i thought "there's no way this is going to turn out right "
Keep in mind I normally did box color or went to a beauty supply. I always did an all over color. My hair kept kept getting darker and darker,instead of exactly how I wanted it.
I always ended up with having to wait about 3 weeks for the color to tone down somewhat.
While it was being applied my neighbor was impressed on the way the colors were taking to my hair.
After drying and styling, I am in love with the results.
My hair doesn't feel overly dry either,which I was worried about. Especially, since this was so new to me.
You will definitely have a return customer,and a few new ones. Your colorist completely impressed my neighbor.

I am someone who is very involved in the hair industry and I am also very familiar with color formulation. I was kind of skeptical at first before trying Esalon. Part of me knew it was a better choice than buying drug store color or guessing the right colors to use at a local beauty shop hair, any of which could lead to a color massacre. All of this during the coronavirus pandemic without access to a beauty salon could go south quickly. However, I felt a bit more comfortable knowing a colorist was formulating my color based on my current hair. I knew they would be looking at my pictures so I added as many as I could in different lighting plus an extensive color history. Transparency with your stylist is key when you want to achieve your correct goal color. The customer service has been phenomenal, they want to make sure you are happy. Please try this out, you won’t regret it.

I finally could reproduce the same color as I did in a salon but at home. no way I could have found it in the grocery store. and the gray hair coverage is much better than other products I tried before.

First time trying Esalon kit to color my greys. Loved the experience, simple directions, and so fun to have the personalized product. I think it turned out great.
I would have given it five stars if the color lasted more than a couple weeks but the greys came back a lot quicker than I hoped.

I have always had my hair coloured and highlighted at the hairdressers. Due to COVID19 I can’t access this. So I took the plunge, having seen e-salon advertised in the paper and logged on. The pack arrived but it took me 10 days to pluck up the courage to do my grey roots. I eventually set to it and was surprised how easy the instructions were to follow. I engaged my husband for the washing part. I can’t believe how the colour is so close to what I have already. E-salon changed the colour I originally ordered after looking at my photos as I obviously had no idea what colour my hair was called. it’s brilliant and so I’m looking forward to next time. So easy to change the date of the next delivery and I’ve added more brighteners and highlights and shine serum.

I just can't believe how my hair turned out! It's the EXACT color I've been trying to achieve at multiple salons over the past year!!! I have shown up to so many salon appts with a picture from Pinterest - showing a very simple light brown color that's more on the golden side (Not ash) but not brassy. I've either come out too dark or too light. Does everybody see colors differently??? It's like that photo of a dress that went around the internet few years ago that some people saw as white/gold and others as blue/black! Because of this crazy time and Covid 19, I was forced to take matters into my own hands and I couldn't be happier with my results. I'm DONE spending $250-$325 every 6 weeks and I'm going to continue coloring my own hair with eSalon!!! Absolutely LOVE your product!

Over the years, I have chosen not to color my own hair since I doubted my ability to do a competent and professional looking job. However, after watching my hair grow out during these weeks of self-isolation, I decided it was time to overcome my concerns. I selected "eSalon" because of the comprehensive approach to helping a customer through the coloring process. From beginning to end my expectations were met. The survey questions, how to videos, instructions and the custom color set containing quality materials all combined to achieve the result I was hoping it would. My grey roots were covered and my overall hair color closely replicated my usual salon color. The only difficulty I encountered was caused by the fact that I have very fine and fairly short hair. I had problems sectioning my hair and using the bottle application on the roots - especially in the back of my head. Next time, I will use the brush to apply the product. Potentially, this will be a better approach to root coverage. In sum, however, I highly recommend this product and intend to continue using it.

Isolated bc of Covid19 I’m about 3-4 weeks past root touch up. Finally couldn’t look at myself! The custom kit had everything needed instructions very clear. Sectioning hair and applying color to roots without affecting highlights is the most difficult part of process. I think I can probably get better at this with experience. However the product is good and results are acceptable. I’d still rather go to salon.

Now with staying at home due to COVID-19, I decided it was time to color my grays. I'm on video calls during the week with work and I have noticed that my colleagues were going gray without their regular salon visits. I saw that my grays were also coming through. Before COVID, I was getting my hair colored and highlighted every 6-8 weeks and the times in between appointments were getting shorter and shorter (and expensive!).
After seeing the video with Angie on Hot and Flashy (YouTube channel), I decided to do my own hair and include eSalon's highlight set. I was blown away at how great my hair turned out. In addition to the instructions, I watched a few YouTube videos including the one featuring eSalon's product on Hot and Flashy. I took my time doing the root coverage. I was so pleased. I love how my hair looks. I did the highlights the next day. While I was worried about the highlights, it seems that my "good enough," not perfection did the job. The highlights look great!
Now, I'm doing eSalon auto-ship. A+ experience. Better than I expected. Thanks!

The developer's smell was extremely strong. I am 51 years old. I have had my hair colored since I was 27. I also colored my own hair with professional or store-bought color products. I felt the smell was stronger than anything I have experienced. The scent almost burned my eyes and didn't go away. I had my hair colored with almost all professional color products: majirel, goldwell topchic, igora royal etc. so I am OK with ammonia and actually prefer ammonia-based over non-ammonia colors. My worry is that this one maybe is very strong.
I liked the color. But my hair felt a bit dry and frizzy after I applied the color. This was my first purchase. I liked the package and personal instructions. I am impressed that a colorist prepared my color.

So my roots are level 6 and I wanted a blonde level 8. The level was achieved but my hair is a bet strawberry blonde at the root so I need a bit more anti red/gold in the formula. I took the colour down to my ends for the last 10 min of the 30 min process time to tone my highlights and they came out nice.

Just colored my hair two days ago. The colorist recommended that I go a little darker than what the shade I picked, and although I was trying to go lighter (my hair is fine and thought lighter would be better to disguise the root growth as the month wore on), I have been so pleased with going darker - my more natural color. The lighter color I had made me look washed out. I cannot tell about whether this color will last an entire month, but hope so! A hairdresser told me that the packaged products from the drug store are not nearly as good at lasting a month because the products are old and not fresh like when you get color done at the hairdresser, so hope this is similar.

I had not touched up roots before nor colored my hair myself. I have light brown hair w some gold/red naturally. The formula was good. I was nervous but followed it step by step. Had to hunt for hair clips and ended up
not using them. My hair is softer than prior to the color. Once I massaged into the roots at the last 2 minutes it blended well.
Hint. You will probably have to replace your shower curtain. You might install a cheap hanging liner if you have a tub shower. If I missed any roots in the back only the people behind me will know and kindly remain silent. Great product. Beautiful personalized packaging. Clear instructions. The sticker to adhere the instructions to a mirror is genius. A winner.

This was my first time ever coloring my own hair. I messed it up. I still had half the bottle left without realizing it. After shampooing I could still see a lot of gray. I just didn't know how much of the color to put on. I liked everything else about the product. I still don't know how well it covers my gray, but I will be trying it again soon. My hair grows very fast.

I haven’t dyed my own hair in at least 30 years. Because of the circumstances at this time I took the chance and my husband helped me and it looks great. I didn’t do the auto plan cause I’m trying to see how long it last before I need it again. Thanks I’ll be contacting you for sure.

Well its been 47 years since I coloured my own hair as a 14 year old!! Now I'm wondering why I have waited so long to have a go. My wonderful hubby applied the colour to my roots, waited the 30 mins, completed the instructions with a 3 mins massage through to the ends of my hair and I am absolutely delighted. The Coronavirus lockdown left me feeling fed up with my grey roots, unable to visit the hairdresser. My hubby is well know to turn his hand to most tasks but following my colour he trimmed my hair all over, served coffee and Jaffa cakes in between and now I don't think I'll be in a hurry to spend on a salon colour in the future. The whole thing has been wonderful and the colour and condition of my hair is easily as good as when I have paid £80 for a trip to the salon!!

I was pleased to receive my color. I was nervous regarding coloring my hair myself. The instructions were very helpful and I was able to apply color somewhat easily. I was happy with the results. I was not so happy with the color as the days progressed. I asked for a darker color for the next application. Hopefully, the darker color won't fade in the same way. I'm happy overall with this product.

Color my own hair at home? This thought was giving me nightmares. No really, I was having bad dreams about how jacked-up my hair was going to look after doing color myself. I imaged hot roots and faded ends, dry, brittle texture, hair falling out in clumps. I am thrilled to share that my first experience coloring at home with eSalon was far from a nightmare: it was a dream come true. Being a redhead by choice, it can sometimes be a challenge to get a color I like, so I was very apprehensive about ordering color online: eSalon has made me a believer. Choosing my color through the online evaluation was easy. I appreciated that I was able to leave a note to my colorist about my concerns/needs, This note was obviously factored into the products and instructions shipped to me. The kit was very thorough, with everything needed for the process labeled clearly. It is a cute touch to have my name printed on items in the kit to make the experience even more personalized. I did a 4-step process that was explained thoroughly, including processing times. Because my hair had been lightened and my roots were dark (oh, and I have some gray around my hairline), I had to process the roots first, then the midshafts and ends, and then do an all-over massaging in of the ends color before rinsing and cleansing. I was worried about banding or hair not blending,but I am delighted to report that my hair looks and feels great. The color looks multidimensional and not monochrome or flat. There is a softness and shine that is very impressive, particularly after color processing: my hair feels healthy, not harmed. My spirits--and my hair--have really been given a boost. Although , I felt my hair came out more red than anticipated, I also realize the reds will fade in time more than any other color. The application was easy and instructions very easy to follow. I would like to add a a highlight order to my next ship date, but have been unable to find out how. Help! Overall initial experience was good/positive. A week later I'm starting to see grays in my part line and along my hairline. Ends are lighter and more red than golden. Had to apply a deep conditioner a few days later to get my hair back to my normal soft and silky feel.

I have had multiple professionals color my hair prices ranging from $75-$150. I've also done my hair at home, purchasing quality product from beauty outlet stores. None of those experiences compare to this.
Excellent, personalized service. But the cherry is the color. I am in awe. Truly. My colorist did a blend of light blonde, copper & pearl. It is retro glam & has completely exceeded my expectations.

First time order. Have considered before but didn’t want to upset my hairdresser. The current pandemic gave me a good reason to order. The instructions were easy to follow. I did the recommended allergy test two days before using the dye. No reaction so all good to go. Everything you need is in the kit, good quality gloves etc. Fairly easy to use and covered my grey well. I did however find it difficult to stop the dye going on previously dyed hair so those bit are darker than desired. As are the roots at the temples, which are grey, went darker than the crown area.
Overall pleased with the result. Will enlist help with application next time.

The color was a great match to my traditional salon color. I asked my 14 year old to help me color the back of my hair - she did a great job. I did miss a little bit of gray right in my front hair line - very frustrating. I had already tossed the hair color at the time. I will not make that mistake again! The color though was perfect.

Die Abdeckung grauer Haare, wie mit anderen Produkten erfolgreich. Pflegerischer Effekt ist sehr gut, das Haar glänzt auch nach mehreren Haarwäschen sehr schön und die Farbe verblasst auch nicht.
Allerdings brennt eure Haarfarbe auf meiner Kopfhaut oben, das hatte ich bisher noch nie.
Mal sehen, wie es das nächste mal ist.
Preis - Leistungsverhältnis doch ziemlich teuer. Dafür die Umwelt durch Versand zusätzlich zu belasten, ist zu überlegen. Verpackung aufwändig, aber sicher.

Loved the instructions complete with sticker to stick them on the bathroom tiles, produced a good colour. Slightly redder than my natural colour (which is a very flat, almost slate grey/blonde colour) but still very natural looking and I understand the red pigment is necessary to avoid a green tinge!

I have always spent a fortune on my hair and been with an amazing salon for over 20 years when I lived in CA. I’m so particular with my hair that I had it listed on my top 5 must have on my budget during a divorce over 10 years ago. YES that’s how much I value my hairdresser. As a result of quarantine, I had to figure out quickly how to color my gray, and wondered about where do I order the color to match my current one, what will happen to my hi-lites, what if I ruin my hair, How can I trust someone I haven’t seen in person,,,etc

Just applied my first order today and I think I am overall satisfied. The color on my previously colored hair took well but I think it’s hard to notice the color on the virgin roots. It did cover the few grays I had. I’ll have to see how it wears in the next few weeks.

Was super impressed with the presentation and instructions. Being a new mom who hasn’t had her hair done in 7 months I needed a boost - I chose to do the bottle application as I have basically no grays and it got messy but I was prepared for that. The color seemed a little darker than what I was expecting but it did have wonderful coverage . I ended up also purchasing the tint rinse just in case and have used it a few times and my only complaint with that is it seems to really dry out my hair. (Also don’t let it touch anything I your shower or it stains instantly 🤷🏻♀️) overall pleased but will probably end up buying the highlighting kit and it’s just too dark and well we’re all still under quarantine lol so why not.

I am incredibly happy with the results of my custom hair color. I was past 11 weeks from the last time I had my hair done at the salon & the roots/grays were just too much & I couldn't take it anymore. Being quarantined during this COVID-19 Pandemic with no confident outlook on future salon date, I buckled and ordered from eSalon based on all the positive reviews. I actually had the box arrive and contemplated for over a week to do it because I was so scared I was going to ruin my hair color. I finally got up the courage after not being able to look at myself in the mirror anymore, and couldn't have been any happier! It was so easy to do & I loved the color!! THANK YOU eSALON FOR SAVING ME!!! My stylist won't be happy because I'm going to continue to do it myself & save some money!

I was so nervous to try this. I have never colored my own hair before. I did a test piece of hair to see if color matched and it did! So then I did all my roots. I had a lot of white hair roots and I have thick hair, so I was worried I would not have enough product but I actually had some left over. I have an undercut long pixie cut, so I think that made it a bit easier to deal with. However the hardest part was sectioning the hair well - my sectioning was not perfect, but the hair color was very forgiving and it came out so much better than I had expected. Really impressed with the color match of this product! Highly recommended. Loved that I could send in a photo during the ordering process. Thank you!

First time I have ever colored my own hair. I have friends and family who are professionals. With the quarantine, I figured I could handle myself, I followed directions carefully and got a good result. Honestly it’s one of the most stressful things I’ve ever done.

As a guy, your service saves me time, AND the awkwardness of looking through a Beauty Supply shop. Most of all, the Customized Color is priceless: I've used colors in the past, mostly SEMI-Permanent knowing it would fade out in a few weeks. I was a bit nervous going Permanent. Thinking about "How do I get this out if the color's off!?" & "Maybe I can find a color that looks like my natural color, dye it back, & leave it alone."
Just before my shower: I mixed my coloring (mixing bowl & brush), apply some on a comb & run it through my beard. Then I combed the rest through my hair & find a funny show for a half hour. Time to rinse out: I hop in the shower with the leftovers in the mixing bowl. Turn on the water, make a lather, & message through my scalp. Anxious to see the new me, I avoided the mirror until the end. I walked towards the sink, looked up, & saw someone that could pass for my Irish cousin. In awe, i stared at the mirror in amazement of how natural my new color looked, yet SO different. No stranger in town would have a clue it was colored. Although your instructions warn against coloring the eyebrows, I did anyway. (why have a copper tone with blond eye brows?) They too came out GREAT! Finally, I have a natural alternative color. Some bright green color contacts, I'll be all set for a new Identity. Thank you Celine for such a great color creation. Everyone Notices, but No one will know.

I expected typical out of the box color. Not so. Gentle, Great color match. Very similar to expensive root touch up I pay for in a salon.
Bonus: That conditioner. Fantastic. Leaves hair soft and shiny.

I was was not convinced that I could manage to color my hair without eliminating the highlights and making my hair look "dyed" by having it a solid mass of color. I struggled a little to just cover just the roots and truthfully some of the color spread onto the ends. But voila- the end result was great and made me feel like a pro. I've been getting my hair colored for years by a great stylist at a salon and I would never have looked at this product but for the Covid-19 orders closing all businesses (but a few). So as the roots grew in and my hair color faded I decided I had nothing to lose and besides if it was awful I was going to be locked down for long enough that it would grow out. I sent a selfie of the new color out to friends who were also amazed at how well it came out. Now I have a problem- I would feel terrible about deserting my stylist after this is all over but I may have to work out a compromise- highlights from her and I do the maintenance?

I was really nervous since I wasn't 100% sure on the color when I placed the order. I figured if worse comes to worse, I would just run out and buy a different color if I didn't like it. When I put it on, the first thing I noticed was that it didn't make my head burn like drug store color does. Not only that but my eyes didn't burn either. The instructions were super easy to follow and although I was a little intimidated at first, by then end of it, I was feeling great. When I washed the color out and looked at it, the color was way better than I expected. And here I am, 4 weeks in, and my gray is still covered! I'm very happy with this purchase and can't wait to continue it.

The instructions were easy to follow (although it is a messy process - I'm glad you stipulate doing the emulsion and rinse in the shower!) and the end result colour was exactly as I'd hoped. My hair felt a bit 'sticky' after rinsing, even though I rinsed for ages, but hopefully it will be fine next time I wash it. It's only been a few days so I can't comment on how well it lasts, but so far I'm vey happy.

I used for the first time -- had about 6 weeks of growth -- I am pretty grey/white in the crown and bangs area. The directions and application of the product was easy. I just think my roots could be a little more even with the rest of my hair color -- maybe the roots needed longer than 15 minutes??? Will reach out to eSalon to get some feedback before next application.

Amazing that the color could be such a great match on the first attempt. My hair is short, so I found it a challenge to apply the color on the top and sides with the brush. It looked like I ended up with color well beyong just the gray roots as I continued to apply color and fold over the sections that already had color. I found it nearly impossible to appply color properly to the back of my head; did my best, but when I lift up sections of hair, I can see I missed quite a lot. My solution will be to apply the color from the bottle next time; think it's more controllable, and easier with short hair. I will still make sure I massage the color into the roots. All in all, I would say this was not nearly as difficult as I expected, and the results are amazingly good - especially for a first attempt.

I hope the color lasts for the normal time that I would get from the salon - if it does, you have a new client. The color was easy to apply and it was nice to be able to do it from home.

My first order wasn’t exactly what I was searching for. The second order they took that into account, as well as my desire to shoot for something a little different, the new color was perfect. The process of using it at home is easy enough (albeit a little messy) but they provide everything you need. 100% recommend.

Pretty easy to use. . The hard thing for me was I needed to do it two times because of my roots. So doing it two times in a row was a lot for someone who has never colored their own hair before. But I was surprised how nice it came out. A little darker than I’m use to but it has lightened up.

I kept seeing the add on my games and have been bored and depressed and worried with the virus shut down so I DID it and what fun my daughter and I had I'm a great grandma so gray teenage grandkids watched family fun my mom says I look my dad when he was young curly red hair. Thanks

I can always count on eSalon to send me MY color, when I’ve screwed up messing around at home! I just tell them what I have done, and what my goal is. Send pics for clarification (outside is best). So easy!

I am 63 Yrs old, and have never colored my hair, except stripes of multi colors or highlights, but never my entire head of hair !!!!! So much gray was showing up it was beginning to make me ( FEEL ) old ! LOL ! I rather be all gray or NO gray !! So I decided what the heck, for $10 I'd just give it a try, and asked my bestie to please come and do it as I have NEVER ever LOL. Well, she's done herself and all her girls many times, and then me. HOLY COW !!!! I am in love with me in the mirror again !!!!!!!! WHO is THAT sassy lady !!!!! Whoohoooo , putting myself on re-order, and may even try a new color combo !!! And I wish you had GREEN PURPLE HOT PINK BLUE AQUA and other colors to to do awesome highlights !! OMG I'M when you do !!! Try it at least once, like me !!! Debido al estado excepcional que hay en España por COVID-19, y no haberme llegado todavia el producto, fui a la peluqueria. El kit de color me llego despues. Todavia no lo he probado y no puedo calificar las preguntas. Es por ello, que he programado la siguiente entrega para el proximo 17/4, como podeis comprobar. En cuanto pruebe el Kit, os respondere. I've been coloring my hair myself for many years as a way to save money. But my results were mixed at best mostly because I never found a color/brand that I loved enough to repeat. Or I would forget which product I used previously.
I originally heard of eSalon when I complimented a patient's hair color. She told me she had heard about it from a friend and she's been receiving nothing but compliments since she began using the service. Die Farbe ist wirklich großartig getroffen und wirkt auch bis Dato (sind erst 3Wochen) gut haltbar. Einen Stern Abzug gibt es, weil meine Haare seit dem elektrisch geladen sind und ich weiß nicht warum (Produkte die sonst geholfen haben helfen nicht und es ist nicht mein erstes Haarfärben im Winter)
