My hair colour didn’t change. I have dark brown hair. I selected medium brown mahogany copper. My hair colour didn’t change. Maybe the slightist bit copper when the light shines, but that’s even a long shot. My hair is still dark brown and doesn’t look different honestly. I studied hairdressing, so the fact the developer is only 20 vol is concerning as I learned 20 vol only changes tone, it doesn’t lift hair colour (go up a shade). . So yeah. Confused.com

Ich bin von Natur Kupfer und mittlerweile auch grau. Ich hab sogar ein Foto von meiner Farbe hochgeladen. Gestern hab ich mir mit dem empfohlenen Produkt die Haare gefärbt. Nach Anleitung. Eine Katastrophe. Ich sehe nicht mehr aus wie eine Natürlich kupferfarbene sondern hab plötzlich ein künstliches Kastanie . Viel zu dunkel. Ich bin mega unglücklich.

I’m so extremely disappointed. Ignoring such a late wait time ( website states AU at the end and shipping time was nothing like on the website)
Texture of the dye it weird, kind of like oil not cream, made my hair so freaking dry and horrible to touch. I wasn’t able to brush them for over a week which made then snap
Also I ordered a demi permanent colour which came with 10% developer (I found it high but im not a hairdresser) and trusted you guys. Its a permanent hair dye!!!! That I was avoiding for years. You ruined 7years of me growing my hair back. Now I have horrible line and regrowth which I have never got before from demo permanent. DO NOT RECOMMEND. Destroyed my hair. (My friend who is a hairdresser confirmed that the texture of it it’s horrible and was surprised how bad my hair got afterwards)

It's a gorgeous coppery brown but it didn't color my greys. They're still very visible. I thought I left a note in my order saying that I needed a stronger developer but I got 15vol anyway. 😞

I followed instructions to a "t." I'm not a newb here, I'm 47 and basically full gray coming in. I was so disappointed when I got out of the shower and my roots were light pink at best. Either the timing was off or the formula is off or something because it didn't take. I saturated them too. So now I'm burning my scalp a little because I have to get my roots covered for an event tomorrow.

So…my color was supposedly adjusted after I wrote in stating that my grays (new growth) needed better coverage. After receiving my new order I found that the coverage is LESS than the first time before the adjustment.

I have been using eSalon's hair dyes since lockdown and was originally very happy. The last couple of shipments of my custom colour have caused me to have an allergic reaction. Initially like contact dermatitis - itching, flaking and sore around my scalp and ears. This time, my forehead is completely swollen and I am in a lot of pain. I followed the instructions exactly but was disappointed to see just as many grays in my part line as before my coloring. I started there so the commute should have been the most saturated in that area. Really wanted this to work. Back to the salon I go.

Ok the good and bad: 💓💔I like the concept behind esalon. Their other products are wonderful. Like the tint rinse and shampoo and conditioner combos.
Love the colorist team and how fast they answer any questions or concerns.
The bad, the color doesn't seem to take with my grays. I'm 44 years old so I have some gray hair on the side. Hair feels and looks nice for a couple weeks but the color does not hold. It maybe just this color I'm trying as I've had good luck with others. So I'm not ready to toss in the towel yet. I'll adjust it and see what happens.

I really wanted to like this product. I raved about it on my social media before I even tried it. The kit is awesome, shipping was so fast. I literally received it the same week I ordered. I followed all directions to the T and I provided pictures and history as to how black hair dyes always seem to fade quickly to brown or have a red undertone. I selected blue black permanent and my hair came out light red brown at the top and slightly more black on the ends. I'm really confused because even the cheapest blue blacks have never done this. I thought I could message my colorist because that's what they claim. But I have yet to receive any response and I find it odd that I'm expected to rock this half red brown half black hair till my next color shipment where they'll revise the color. Sigh...I tried but I'll be looking elsewhere.

Leider bin ich mit dem Ergebnis nicht zufrieden: Als erstes war es sehr ärgerlich, dass beim Mischen das halbe Badezimmer mit Farbe gesprenkelt war, weil die Flasche oben an der Spitze offen war und beim Schütteln die Farbe herausspritzte, was ich zu spät bemerkte. Zum anderen fiel die Farbe zu dunkel aus, was mir nicht gefällt, da es zu blass macht.

Die Farbe fand ich viel zu dunkel. Der Ansatz war eher rötlich blond, in der Länge viel zu dunkel, erst nach dem 3. Waschen ist mein Haar in der Länge wieder etwas heller geworden. Am Ansatz ging der Rotstich etwas zurück... Insgesamt war ich enttäuscht...

The color sent to me was actually permanent. I specifically chose demi to use on virgin hair so that it wasn't permanent. I only purchased a few times and after using this for the last time about 7 months ago, I STILL have the stubborn color in my hair. When I finally scheduled an appointment with a colorist in a salon she told me that there was no way the color I used was demi permanent. I am extremely disappointed and definitely will not be back or recommend using eSalon.

I dyed my hair less than a month ago and I already have to do my roots again. I will be canceling, I can get better dye at the grocery store that lasts a lot longer. Very disappointed. For the price of this stuff you would expect better quality.

The color did nothing. I wrote in my account that I do highlights and I got color for just my roots. The color did not even change my hair. When I contacted support, they were defensive and super rude and unhelpful so I am canceling my account.

Leider ist die Flasche für die Ansatzfärbung viel zu viel gewesen. Die Hälfte der Menge hätte locker ausgereicht. Habe daher mit der Ansatzfarbe das gesamte Haar gefärbt um die restliche Farbe nicht zu verschwenden, bzw. nicht entsorgen zu müssen.
Die Farbe selber ist super, tropft nicht und deckt super ab.

I love my hair color from e-salon and have used it for a number of years. I also loved the shampoo and rinse that was included. On my recent order, there was a different shampoo and rinse that smelled like medicine. Definitely not an improvement! Hoping a change back to the old shampoo and rinse will bring back the great product I am used to!

I usually have no problems with color but this last bottle was extremely thick and would not even come out the bottle , I made the home bigger in the bottle and still just too thick! Basically wastes almost a whole bottle of color

This is my second time coloring with eSalon. First off, my grays do not take this color very well - I have to process for over an hour which might be why My hair feels really dry and damaged…. Also it’s auburn with red tones and I included in my review from last time that I wanted to remove the brassiness and neutralize red! It’s not the chocolate brown like I had envisioned…

Not super happy with it. My hair is more than 60% grey, it did cover quite a bit of the greys but it left my hair very dry and the colour is very brassy, where it should have been ash. Don’t think I’ll keep buying it.

I really liked the shade of color and the excellent coverage. However, I really didn't like the texture of my hair after the process. It was not full and thick feeling like I normally get from my regular products I use at home. Three stars at best

I got the red copper and I have dark brown hair. My color didn't take. It just made my hair a little lighter like a light brown.

I was not very happy with my results, the color did not cover my gray hair at all. I think it needed more than the 30 minutes it said to process. Other than that the rest of my hair looks and feels great. I will give your product one more chance before I move on. January 19, 2023, So I gave it another shot and I am even more disappointed than before, it's like I didn't even put dye on my hair!!! The directions only increased the processing time by 10 minutes, from 30 to 40, well I left it on for an hour and it did not make my hair look any different, still had all my gray!! I want all my money back, this was a complete and utter waste of my time and money!!!!

I bought this last month because it was a half price offer, I was really disappointed the colour wasn't what I expected and my grey hair started to show through after 2 weeks, my regular hair colour is half the price and lasts twice as long

The product just does not cover the grays.

I'm very disappointed with the product since the whole purpose with coloring my hair was to cover the grays and your product does not do that! The color holds on that portion of my hair that is not gray and I actually like the color that is produced but if the product will not color my gray hair there is no point in using it. Even over the counter coloring products last at least to the first shampoo before it washes out but your product makes no effort to color the grays.

Far too bright and not for my skin tone

This was my first- and last - experience of using what is supposed to be a custom colour. I filled in the survey and provided pictures and the colour they decided would be great for me is anything but. I am currently a very bright red with pink tones and it looks terrible. I'm glad a bought a demi permanent colour and not permanent but I still suspect it is going to take weeks to wash out and I'm fearful the fade will leave me with pink hair. I've just gone on to Amazon and spent more money in products that will hopefully help. Never again. I'm angry, upset and right now, worried about venturing outside with my new shade of very intense red hair.
