I have thick black hair. Gray hair is very stubborn and hard to cover. This product so far has been the best at coverage and longer lasting. My hair shines and it looks healthy.

I love my new custom color set from esalon. I honestly didn’t think there would be a difference between what I had been purchasing over the counter and what I would get with a custom set because I dye my hair natural black. Boy was I wrong!! I noticed a huge difference. The “natural” black I had been using often seemed a bit intense but I figured after trying multiple brands, that’s just the way black hair dye looked. I was so wrong. I am loving my hair. It’s almost the exact shade of black it used to be before I started dying it. The step by step instructions were perfect and the conditioner was fabulous. I am a black female and do not relax or straighten my hair. Ergo, dye is the only chemical I have been using in my hair for years. My new custom set did exactly what was promised. Thank you!! My Custom Color Set is now on my short list of favorite natural girl products!! Oh and there’s no ammonia so there was no harsh smell. I now happily subscribe and it comes right to my door. I’m a happy and grateful girl to have been introduced to esalon!!

I have been dying my hair for the past two years due to greys, have always just wanted to match my natural colour. Am a redhead and have always struggled even with professional salon colourists, to achieve a natural looking match. Have also tried 2 different home colour brands. I was dubious with esalon and if they’d do a good job based on the quiz and pic I supplied, but this is the best colour I have even had! Hoping it doesn’t fade as quickly as the box dyes I’ve tried before.

Exactly what I expected and provides great color. It is pricey after the initial purchase and tends to fade even with infrequent gentle washings and tint rinse enhancements.

I appreciate your quick replies to my comments. I love my color and how EASY the process is! My skin is very sensitive, but I am not having issues with the developer or color, yay. I am almost 70, but I’m not yet ready for gray hair. Thank you!

I was really nervous about dying my hair to cover the white hairs because I didn't want to lose my natural hair colour. I only ended up dying the top portion of my head in order to save my ends a bit of damage, and it blended essentially perfectly. I think about 10 min more than the 30 min recommendation for my stubborn white hairs would have provided a bit more coverage, but overall 10/10.

A salon is absolutely the best!!! The color that is mixed for me (my color) is amazing. I get so many compliments on it and people stop me all the time to ask where I i get my color done It is perfect from the day i put it in and the color lasts untill it it time to do it again . ❤️❤️ Thank you E-salon

I am a Strawberry and we had to make a little adjustment but we got it right on. My dad said it looks just like the color it was when I was little and younger so I will continue to get my color from you guys . As far as a shampoo and conditioner and a booster that I ordered is awesome I have put color on my hair two weeks before Christmas and I just now on 27 January put color on. I could have waited another week, but I have meetings so I went on to do the color. So I can’t wait to see how the booster does. Thank you so much for mixing the right colors for me because I compared it to my pictures when I was younger and it is right on the color. Thank you, Brenda.

This set/kit is incredible! First you get a beautiful pink box in the mail, then when you open it, the kit is personalized & every piece of the kit is displayed beautifully. This is the first time I colored my own hair & this kit made it so easy. I love it! I think the great reviews you read about don't really convey how really great & easy it is!

Love the coverage I get for my out of control greys ,last for weeks and my hair color is perfect - reddish brown . The reddish color shines thru esp outside in the sun n under lights. My hair is naturally blk n I love the change .

Habe 2 Monate gebraucht bis ich mich getraut habe meine Haare selbst zu färben. Heute war es soweit. Einfache Handhabung,gut erklärt. Kein beissender Geruch des Produktes, keine brennende Kopfhaut. Schönes Farbergebnis. Leider hat es nicht alle grauen Haare abgedeckt. Bin trotzdem positiv überrascht und zufrieden.

Whenever I color my hair I always worry that it won't come out the way I envision. This time using your product my hair color came out to be exactly what I wanted and it was easier to use then my old product.
I only have some grey around my neck line and above my ears. That turned out perfect too. Great job of putting together the colors I needed to make everyone I know rave about my hair color including my husband.

I was so reluctant to go back to a hairdressers after continuous hair failures!! You know that they say if they can’t do it do it yourself.
My hair was awful! All different tones of yellow/orange and dark patches of red so I decided to try esalon…. Well I’m glad I did!.
I went with the medium brown (copper golden) and it’s turned out better than expected. It’s completely neutralised all of the other tones and came out as one colour all over how amazing!.
Will definitely be continuing to get my hair dye from esalon.

Esalon has simplified my hair coloring process in every way. My original hair color was uneven and after speaking with a specialist, a color was specially formulated to match the intended results and it matched beautifully and evened out the color! The color was slightly bolder/brighter (still beautiful) than I had expected, but after the first wash, the color was perfect and exactly what I asked for. I have tried every color and brand and have never gotten so close to my desired look. The packaging alone surprised me... It included everything you could need in a hair kit, stain protector, several pairs of gloves, sample-sized shampoo and conditioner and detailed instructions for my specific formula. Another great aspect is that you can have it shipped to you and set up on auto delivery. I never have to shop different stores looking for a specific brand or color again and if I want to tweak my hair color, all I have to do is ask. This is truly the best hair color I have ever used. I have been letting my gray grow out and it's aging me . I was using to dark of a box color that had grown out and I cut off so I had no color on my hair at all and what you helped me pick is just perfect! The best my hair has looked in years. The first color I chose looked good but just a bit too dark.i asked for more grey cover and a shade lighter. It is Perfect! This color system is so easy to use and saves me a ton of money doing it myself!

When I color my hair with grocery store brands my hair looks flat and drab, no matter how well the company has marketed the product . Professional highlights look good but dry out my hair every time. My color is a soft red, and it leaves my hair soft and glowing. The color almost exactly matches my daughter’s’ gorgeous natural soft red. I don’t look grey or washed out. Thank you!!!

I love this stuff. I never had time to get to the salon, and I have received more compliments on my hair color since using it than ever from salons. Also, I had an issue with breaking a bottle this month. Customer service offered me a free replacement without charge, and I wanted to pay! They are so understanding. I highly recommend.
