I have been dying my hair for 20 years, going to the salon or box dye, and not once have I ever been more satisfied with the color as I am with eSalon! My colorist nailed it to the T! I love love love my new color. Light blonde with a hint of strawberry. I have never tried a strawberry color before, I didn’t know what I was missing out on!!! This color makes me feel beautiful, sexy and full of confidence not to mention I look about 10 years younger! This hair color was better than I thought. I thought it would last a little bit longer than drug store brands, but it actually last a lot longer. I love everything about it from my name of the boxes and bottles, to the quality rubber cloves, to the stain preventor for skin, to the stain remover. I love the details!

Color was easy to apply and practically no mess made. The directions were very easy to follow, and it came out just gorgeous! The red was subtle which is what I liked because I didn't want a vibrant red throughout my hair. But it was enough to be noticable and in the sunlight it was stunning! Great color.

Just done my hair with the 'couple of improvements' formula and I LOVE it...went on like a dream and absolutely no stains so didn't have to use the stain remover towelette...I changed my colour slightly as well and its perfect...thank you

Ive never tried this before and was nervous about using it but its amazing. The colour was matched perfectly to what i wanted. The instructions were fab and i love it. Will be carrying on with this from now on.

This is by far THEE best hair color I have ever used! The most perfect light blonde AND it covered my gray so nicely! It's not a flat color at all. There's dimension and shine! I usually either have gone to a salon for a two color weave or I've bought drugstore stuff...but never has my results been this stunning. THANK YOU!

I like that I can change the amounts of the different colors. It also gives my hair dimension and depth having multiple colors. I really have been satisfied with eSalon. My hair feels great and soft. People thought I got a haircut when I just colored it.

Everything in one box is awesome, especially when u have such a demanding schedule like myself. The auto ship is great as well. The reason for the 3 stars is because I was looking for a more burgundy purple color not so dark brown mahogany but I'm sure we can tweak it!!
UPDATE: Order received In April is the closest to what I've wanted since I first started. My colorist had my ends bottle PERFECT in what I want, the roots bottle was still had more of an auburn red tint, this time I did my roots with Bottle 1 as instructed as always but actually saturated my hair from roots down to about 3 inches from the ends then I waited about 5 mins then applied Bottle 2 to all my hair except the roots, put my hair in a shower cap for 10 mins followed by putting water in the 2nd bottle as instructed, saturating my entire head then followed it by rinsing it with cold water. When I dried my hair my roots were redder while the rest of my hair was the EXACT color I have been trying to achieve since last summer!! I love eSalon for making it convenient for me to color my own hair without breaking the bank. I appreciate the efforts to adjust the color to give me exactly what I want!! SO if we can figure out how to get the roots to match my ends this will definitely change to 5+ stars

Used my kit for the first time at the weekend. Colour is great and my hair is so soft. Very even colour with no streaking. Will be sticking to this product. It’s a bit more pricey but well worth it. Thank you Paul for my colour

When I was still working I didn’t mind paying $200 for style and color. I went to the best salon in town and used the master stylists.
That ended when work did. Since 2014 I’ve been using Esalon and I’m very happy with this product. A couple times I’ve been back to the salon and the owner/master stylist was impressed with my Esalon color. I don’t think you can get a better recommendation.

This was my first time coloring my hair at home 2 days ago and was very nervous. Have had my hair colored in salons for 20 years. My hair length is below the shoulders and very thick, it was a little awkward for me doing the roots in the back of my head. The challenge was worth it in the end. I love the color of my hair, looks just like when I would have it done in the Salon. Hair is also really soft and silky feeling too, Looking forward to seeing how long this color product lasts compared to Salon. Even more so look forward to saving all that money every 5 weeks! Loved the little kit too!

I love how this really covered my gray hair. I don’t see any gray anywhere especially by my hair line. My hair feels soft and has a great shine. Though I think this color might be a little too dark for me ( looks almost black ) I will see how it is after a week. Then I will have to re-configure my color. There was plenty of dye to color my long hair . Love the cape , glad I ordered it.

Absolutely love it! I always go for a light reddish brown, and it always ends up brassy or with a fake red hue. Even professionals can’t get it right. They’ve tried to balance my color with ashy colors and it ends up muddy looking or green. This color is exactly what I have always been looking for. Light brown, with a subtle, natural looking reddish tint, without being brassy. I’m stunned. My first reaction was “How is this possible?!” It’s beyond perfect. Also, how can you beat the price?!

I love this product.
Perfect colour for my skin tone (a freckly and tanned 56 yr old) I adjusted the colour slightly at the beginning which was so easy to do. - about a year ago!
My hairdresser can’t believe I do it myself because it looks so natural.

The order is quick, the colour is fab, the colour lasts, like getting your hair dyed in a salon. I can ask for my hair colour to be tweeked, more reddish tones, or lighter tones etc, whatever you need them to do, its done, no problem. I wouldnt go back to a box dye. Love love love esalon.

Just colored my hair with the color that was made just for me.It is the best color I have ever used. I am 76 years old and do not want a bad color.. It must look natural. I have been using L'Oreal hair color for years. On a whim, I decided to try eSalon. The packaging was lovely. The kit came with everything needed to color my hair and the directions were clear. The dye felt a bit thick and I was nervous at first. But the color was rich and my hair is now thick and shiny. I have received more compliments than I have, even when I used to go to a salon. I will be purchasing again.

I think we finally got the color exactly where I want it! We had some issues because I had an ombré before my first color, so we ended up too dark trying to keep the ends from fading or being two different colors from regrowth to ends. But with this last mixture the color has been perfect, and even after nearly 8 weeks it hasn’t faded on the ends and is still just as beautiful! So happy with this one!
