So I saw this being used on a YouTube tutorial and I liked what I saw and had just recently cut my hair to a Lob not the first time, I had been growing it out trying to stay away from hot tools, however I was bored and it was time to do something with my hair!! So I was looking for cute ways to style my hair and stumbled upon a YouTuber who raved about these products in her tutorial. The first time I used them I was in a hurry and really wasn't to impressed but that was my fault not the products. So the last week or so I have been using this along with the Root Lift Hair Spray I comb out my hair after showering I run this in my hair not adding it close to my scalp or bang area I then spray the Root Lifter to the front of my hair because it is so heavy there and I can never keep the volume in the front of my hair I do not use a lot a heat my hair is naturally wavy so I just take the wetness out of the back and sides of my hair but use a round brush to the front once I have the top of my hair where I want it I take more of this rub into my hands and fingers and as I twirl sections of my hair to get little sort of ringlets instead of using the hot tools for beachy wave like curls I am twirling it and coating the ringlets with just the smallest amount of the smoothing balm to make them stay in place. Once they are dry I can run my fingers through the curls and wahala... I love it!! It makes my hair shiny and smells delicious I don't have to over use hot tools, I am happy and my hair is happy !! I am so glad I found this product and I thank ellebangs for the tutorial and recommendation with the link that also saved me money!!

I'm naturally blonde, but I like my hair almost a platinum blonde. It didn't matter how much product I used, or got a trim every 4-6 weeks, or even the fact that I spent a fortune on a special straightener to "smooth" my ends....bc none of it worked. So I decided to give Sleek Dreams a try. Ha! I don't have to use a straighter anymore, my hair NEVER looks dry or frizzy. I can leave it be, or put it in a claw clip for like 20 min and have really beautiful waves. Miracle product for this girl!

I have fine hair that tends to get fly aways as the day goes on, this smoothing balm is excellent for keeping those down. After my hair is styled I rub the balm in my palms then kind of "squish" it thru out my hair. I normally cant use smoothing type products because they are too heavy for my fine/thin hair but this is really a light weight product. It helps to hold my style throughout the day and it smells amazing!! My only complaint is that the opening of the tube is quite large and I always end up squeezing too much product out but other than that I will be re-purchasing!

I absolutely love this product. It does what it claims. Smooths and makes my frizzy hair so healthy looking. Unfortunately I cannot use it. I suffer from chronic migraines triggered by strong perfume scents. I was wishing the fragrance was going to be more like the Get Lifted Root Spray. Very pleasant scent. Wish I would have known. Beautiful hair with a bad headache.

This is the first time I have tried this product after being extremely happy with eSalon's Perfect Ending conditioner (leave in type for dry ends). I liked Sleek Dreams smoothing balm but because my hair is thin curly type, it weighted it down more than I am used to and had a "wetter" effect. It is too early for me to decide whether I will reorder Sleek Dreams. Still experimenting!

Use only a small bit of product and it will dry and leave hair soft, no frizzies.... Should be careful to use only a dime to nickle size drop of product.. Too much can leave hair feeling tacky. I do like the Smoothing Balm and will continue to use it, as it can leave hair soft and frizz free!

I have fine hair with a curl that is not a nice curl. It is a frizzy curl that springs up in humid weather. I found Sleek Dreams and immediately loved it. It's lightweight and I only needed a dime size amount for it to be effective. My hair has never looked better, but when I tried finding it on the esalon website I couldn't find it. Did Sleek Dreams get replaced with another product? I'm so disappointed.

I really do notice if I don't use this, put it on damp hair and use a hairdryer and it will help with frizz and flyaways. What I really like about this though is that you can use it on dry hair and it smooths it as it dries naturally, just don't use too much or put it near your roots or you'll go from frizzy to greasy in no time!

My hair is very curly and it is not an even curl throughout. It looks frizzy most of the time. This product smoothed the hair when I styled it, but didn't keep the humidity away as much as I had hoped it would. It is a good product, but for my geographic area, where the humid conditions are extreme, I need something that repels better.

I was excited to try this product after reading it worked well for fine hair and had a fresh, clean scent. I have fine hair and only applied the smallest amount and it made my hair so stringy and greasy in appearance. It also smells like very strong perfume, not fresh or clean at all. I am so disappointed.

The perfumed smell is so strong when applying even the smallest amount that it instantly gives me a headache. This is sad because if it weren't for the smell the smoothing action is really nice.

Watery for a balm and it didn't work at all for me. Applied it to wet hair to try to calm the frizz caused by the coloring system. It smoothed my hair until I stepped outside - then it was right back to where I started. I tried applying it to dry hair and instant greasy look. I tried it 4 times with the same result each time.

I've tried using the product before blowdrying and adding more after because it wasn't smooth enough. My hair is fine textured, and gets frizzy in the Chicago summer humidity. Product smoothed slightly right after blowdrying, but didn't last more than half hour. Sorry :(

I thought this would be a great product based on the reviews but I regret wasting my money. Yes it is full of silicones but that is my fault. However, after using this on dry and wet hair, it did absolutely nothing for my thick and coarse hair. It made the frizz worse and god knows I have enough problems with that in the first place. The one star is for the fragrance which is its only redeeming factor.

This is ok.... but it's not the best and it doesn't seem to last. I have very long, naturally curly hair and I live on the beach. So I am fighting humidity often. This works ok at smoothing things out initially, but it does wear off even when I'm staying indoors. I find it requires frequent reapplication. I wouldn't purchase this again.

The alcohol dries it my hair so it doesn't really help.

I've tried this in different ways and if anything it just makes my hair waxy and coated- no smoothness. I prefer oils. The fragrance is nice but not as great as the volumizing line has.

The scent is wonderful however I don't notice much added shine after using this. I also have some breakage at the root and is product only holds it down for maybe an hour or two. It is only alright, I don't think I'd buy it again.

I was super excited to try this product but unfortunately, it didn't deliver. My hair is still very frizzy after use.
