As mentioned before I am a natural darker auburn. The tint I purchased the last time was more what I wanted. I do not like the golden . I do not want to look strawberry blond because I am not that. I will try and attach a pic. to show better the color. Or send the same tint as the last time.

I wish E-Salon never recommended this to me. It was horrible. It dried out my hair so badly. After I applied and left it on for a few minutes, I rinsed with conditioner. It was horrible.
It left my hair so dry and I couldn't even fix it with conditioner.
I will not use again.

No da el efecto dorado que quería en todo mi cabello... Sólo las puntas. Lo he dejado el doble de tiempo que dice y he puesto el doble producto, mas no conseguí el efecto que deseaba...Y he empezado a sentir que mi cabello ya no está lo suficientemente hidratado y fácil de peinar. Creo que sí este producto no cuida del cabello al mismo tiempo que del color no se debe sugerir, sino que en el tinte que se envíe se tiene que poner más dorado en la fórmula.

I have used this for a little while thinking it needed time to make a difference to my highlights. It doesn’t dry the hair but doesn’t do anything to tone my hair. I’ve just tried a different brand and immediately saw a dramatic change. I won’t be using this anymore.

AVOID! The absolute worse experience that had me in tears and shaking! Got the dye and followed all instructions to the letter. First off, the ammonia smell is HORRIBLE! I had a well ventilated area, and my eyes and throat burned! Put my face to the open window to get extra fresh air. Second, when it came time to rinse my hair, I had my eyes closed and was running my fingers through my hair. I felt CLUMPS of hair coming out. I panicked....finished doing what I had to do to get my hair clean and when I wiped my eyes and looked in the bottom of the shower, there was tons of hair. I have NEVER lost hair before other than normal amount of shedding. I was crying and shaking because I was so upset. My husband tried calling esalon for me to ask for guidance; they were closed. I went to bed that night thinking I’d wake up to a bed full of hair the next morning. The next morning I got on the phone and they’re response was “oh maybe you had an allergic reaction, you should see a doctor; we will email you the ingredients”. I asked if anyone else had had the same issue with losing hair before and was told no (which is not true now that I’ve seen other reviews) They did give me a refund, but, to me, they could’ve done more. For starters, they could have followed up with me later to see if I was ok. That’s the LEAST they could have done. Do yourself a favor, do NOT buy from this company. It’s not worth the risk of losing hair and stressing all night about it.

I have copper tones in my hair. After watching video and reading reviews I got this product. There was absolutely no change in my hair and they became very brittle after using it. I wouldn’t recommend it. I wish I could get my money back.

This made my hair especially the tips an unnatural bright orange color. I Don’t know how to even repair it. It wasn’t even close to the base color

I guess my expectations were more than the product is created to provide. It toned my hair slightly, but I was hoping for more red out. I tried Guy Tang Eclipse, and Mauve toner, and I really like the Ash tone it provides, unfortunately, I only used in on my front Highlight not the full head, I wanted to wait to compare your Tint Rinse....Not even close! If you are familiar with Guy Tang, do you have anything you can recommend that will remove more Red from my hair? Otherwise, I may try the toner all over my hair next. Thanks

When one places this tube back down (when say using in shower) doesn't matter how careful I am, always some of the product gets around the cap and ends up staining the shelf in the bathroom. This product would do far better as an upright pump (so long as you guys can manage to get the pump assembled with all its parts so it'll work (I've had this issue with another product of yours)

Because of the leakage that occurs around the cap when you use it, then try to close the snap lid, it closes, but squeezes any excess around the cap out around the edges which drips and stains tub/shower shelf. I've tried rinsing it off before closing the cap (whilst holding the dispensed product in my hand, balancing in the shower to close the cap sans the excess, and it ends up just generally being a mess that I have to work very hard to clean up to avoid permanent staining of the tub/shower enclosure/shelf.

Even after rinsing well, my hair was sticky from the residue. Even worse, it did nothing to tone down the bright orange tones left from my "custom" medium ash blonde. Total waste of $$$

I was hoping this tint rinse would give a little kick to my color as I have used tinted glazes at home before. Unfortunately, this didn't do anything to my hair color. There was no visible difference and I tried it twice (even on th e lighter ends of my hair). Possibly it would work on blondes/light hair colors?

This is the color that was recommended for my hair. This product gave my brown hair a deep red tint. It did make my hair shinny and I did like that part. Didn't like the color at all. Will not use again.

Color was amazing for the first two weeks and then just faded way too quickly. The shampoo with color gave me a very weird shade of red. I'm a natural redhead just trying to cover gray areas and was disappointed that it didn't last even a month. Loved the presentation and packaging. Wished it had worked.

Esalon Color Team was spot on in getting my color correct but the product made my scalp itch & broke my hair. To be fair, my stylist also had trouble with products. She had to try several before she found one I could tolerate.
Now that the quarantine has lifted I’m going back to my stylist for a good cut, hair Conditioner treatment & her artsy way of coloring. She doesn’t just put color on but adds different colors like golds & coppers on individual strands. It comes out beautiful & I would have to buy several different kits to do what she did, if I could do it Evenly.
So eSalon if your product didn’t itch or break my hair, I might stay with you But I also like all the “tricks“ my stylist does to add shine & pizazz to my hair. I get far more Compliments from her color tricks than when I do it!!

I would not recommend this product if you have gold shades in your hair. It makes it even a darker yellow gold.
I guess you should chose a color that would have some purple toner in the rinse.

I made this purchase hoping to balance the harsh red tones in my dyed hair. My hair is naturally an ashy brown, but I recently went lighter and ended up with terrible brass. I recently had my colored back to my natural color, but the red has persisted. I ordered this product based on my natural color and the loads of rave reviews, but I was unfortunately very misled. I have used this product three times, twice the first week and once this past week, and have had no reduction in brassiness. The ugly red tones in my brown hair are as obvious as ever. I am giving two stars because the product was shipped very efficiently and made my hair very silky and shiny, but as for its marketed purpose, neutralizing brassiness, save your money!

Love the color, but the result was uneven

Every redhead knows that red is exceptionally difficult to keep vibrant between colorings - it just tends to fade. I used the Tint Rinse in Copper to brighten my color. It is a post-shampoo application, goes on easily and creates a luxurious lather, which you work through the hair and allow to sit for 2-5 minutes (I allowed 4 minutes), then rinse and condition - easy. The verdict: Uneven color (sad trombone). I got a great copper boost from the mid-shaft to the ends, but not so much from roots to mid-shaft, although the lather was (I thought) evenly applied throughout. I will give it another try next month, but I was a bit disappointed.

Used since their color made my hair brassy. It made my hair muddy and took very unevenly. My fingers are also stained, probably because my hands are so dry.

No discernible difference, And it’s pretty messy. I doubt I’ll purchase it again. If it was thicker it would be much easier to use.

No Noticeable Results

I tried this three separate times, with the same results. Following the instructions, my hair looked the same as before using the product. Last time I used it, my hair looked more blonde, which really didn't make sense. For reference, I have dark brown hair and the bottom half has a brassy red tint to it from a previous color treatment. I had dyed it my natural color to cover some grays. I am growing it out to keep my natural hair color rather than dye again. I was hoping this would help ease the brassy tones until I grow it long enough to cut. I would not recommend this product as an option, especially after reading about some of the harmful ingredients, and the one that causes cancer.

I have some gray hair and normally use the hair color pretty close to my natural. I always do it at the salon, and sometimes at home with the hair color recommended by my hair dresser. This time I took a leap of faith because I thought it might be a good idea to try a different hair color brand, still used the same color though.
The outcome was just horrific. I have never in my life had such a terrible hair color experience. I would understand how my hair turned completely green-orange if it was a different tone from my natural hair color. In this case it was very close, so I find it simply unacceptable. Never again.

So with covid, my hair is a mix of colored, and untreated hair. I got this, thinking it could at least help me bridge for a bit. It looks great on the sections of my hair that are colored, and deepens it. But it makes the untreated parts look yellow - not blonde, more like crayola yellow, which is a strange colour on hair

I have highlights that have turned brassy. I was hoping this would tone them more ash but I honestly can’t see any different. I’ll try it again because I’ve got a whole tube. I left it on for three minutes too. The lather was nice.

I've got this tint rinse because I wanted to get rid of the brassiness in my light brown hair. I used it twice a week and applied it on my hair for 5 min.
It definitely did something but not enough for me. After using it my hair felt dry and kind of crunchy.

My hair is very dark brown. I love the idea of this tint, but it just didn't show up on my hair at all. I'm passing it along to a friend with much lighter hair. I think she'll really enjoy it.

I did not get the shiny, more lustrous color effect like most have experienced. I was really disappointed. However, one good thing is that as my grey roots started to show, the tint did temporarily cover it. Not a full dark brown color cover, but enough to make my roots not so noticeable until I had time to color my roots again.

Very disappointed of the esalon products, everything is so abrasive to the hair. After they get you with the first order, both customer service and quality goes down the drain. Switching to a different company.

Did not work well for me. Oh my! Looked like I had used strawberry jello. But my hair may be more porous than others. Not for me but it might work for others. The other products I have used were wonderful!
