I know I shouldn't expect an exact match to my haircolor, but this was OBVIOUSLY different and looked very cheap. I let it dry before running my fingers through it, yet my nailbeds were covered in brown. Meh. Won't be re-ordering.

I so wanted to like this product. I thought this could do the trick between hair salon appointments to cover my roots. I highlight my ash-blond hair to obtain a light blonde. I do not have greys.
First, the color from the spray was too dark (darker than my natural color) and did nothing to soften my roots. This is definitely not for dark blondes looking to soften their roots. Also, it made my hair feel gritty and sticky. I would definitely not try it again even if ESalon made a Mist in a lighter shade of blonde. Very disappointed. It was a waste of money

I hated the Camo spray that I tried. It sprays out too forcefully. My greys are near my temple's. I sprayed a few small bursts near there but I'm still picking it off my face and out of my ears! You can't spray it gently. It's great for the center of your part greys but not for any short wispy hairs near the temples.

I am not a fan of this product. It deposits more color on your scalp than on your hair. Even once you learn the right angle, the color is very flat and your scalp shows too much color. I have used other root products I like much better and wouldn't recomend this. Very dissatisfied. (Just with this product. My actual esalon color came out great...)

After spraying liberally around temples and exposed new growth,this product fails to cover any grey whatsoever. I literally held the button-down spraying and spraying to absolutely no avail, it's still look like the same grey when I stopped spraying.

My scalp was orange!! Holy moly it was not worth it to cover my roots because my scalp turned orange and the product transferred on my fingers when I tried to shake up my roots a few mins after application.

I have a blend of red and this did cover the gray roots, but didn't match at all for red blends. The auburn was a better match.
However, once you find the right color, it will cover the roots until you re-color.

The color is okay, perhaps a tiny bit dark, but it is flat. I found it very hard to use. It was hard to aim and keep it off my face. It came out in little spots that I then had to rub to distribute. I currently have a powder root coverup by Everpro Gray Away that has some highlights to it so it doesn't look so flat and it is definitely easier to use. Not a fan of this one! Great customer service from eSalon!

Was made a color that was supposed to be a light shade of brown/reddish. Ended up black. When you spray on the roots it looks like pretty much nothing but bad dye job. If the colors matched or were slightly similar it may have worked.

I was really disappointed. I've used drug store products and they are silky. This left my roots feeling like I had used a very strong hairspray. I had problems brushing hair and running fingers through, my roots felt tangled. I have long hair and only sprayed my roots, it did seem to take a lot of product to cover my gray, so maybe that's why I had this problem. Washed hair next day and used different cover up, threw the rest of this product away.

I purchased this as it was double the amount and half the cost of a more select brand I normally buy. However, I ended up having to use twice as much of this for the same coverage. It left my hair kind of stiff & sticky, which maybe is typical of all spray-on color? It also easily wipes off, which means it comes off on my pillowcase.

This spray is way too strong but the color itself is fine. Perhaps others don’t mind how it sprays but I feel like it’s attacking me and it gets in the air so I hold my breath while using it so I don’t breath it in.

This looks almost black on my brown hair. I use dark brown dye so I thought this would work and I have a lot of greys so I’d love to be able to use it. It smells nice and it’s not too chunky like the Bumble and Bumble spray -but the coverage isn’t awesome either so maybe that’s why. I try to not use too much because I don’t want black roots...

I have used a few different root cover sprays and I was excited to try this one because I usually love ESalon products. Unfortunately, this one missed the mark for me. When I first sprayed it on, it came out in one very noticeable blotch at my part. I shook the can and tried again, but it does not spray out evenly. It is a dark, muddy color and does not blend well with the rest of my hair. It looked like I had dark spots at the top of my head. I was disappointed.

The color was a pretty good match, However it goes on very wet and needs numerous sprays to give good coverage. It also has a fairly strong smell.

I have trouble directing the spray to exactly where I want it, especially around the sideburn areas where I do not want color on my skin. Not sure why it has to be an aerosol, would prefer a gentler spray.

I prefer my hair to feel clean, even on its worst days, a clean feel is better than no grays showing. This product is like spray paint. Just not for me with the way it made my hair feel oily and left me trying to remove dark spots from my scalp.

It is great for a temporary cover of roots so gray doesn’t show between treatments. It however, runs in the summer heat if a person perspires. Once the weather is cool again, it will be good to use between colorings.

This Brand requires more product to get coverage. Since I had to keep applying more and more product, my hair was wet before it actually covered the new growth at my part. I felt it made my hair look a little greasy/dirty. I like Style Edit much better. I wont buy this again.

I like this product but I do not like how it dispenses. I have very short hair with most of my gray hair at my temples. I wish this ptoduct had an attachment for the nozzle that would allow me to control the amount and area where it sprays.

Kinda of hard to spray the can. It was an ok item. Won’t order again. Think the root cover up would be better in a brush on type with applicator.
