I used Camo mist a few times between dye colors. It is nice to use when I do not have a time to do dye hair. I followed the direction, but it did not cover my roots, which natural black and gray colors. It made light auburn my skin head, but not grays. I wish it was work.

I love the color as it matches my hair well and hides the gray, but it seems to come off /rub off easily and there isn’t very much in each can as compared to the blue bottle brand.

Because my hair is very dark brown, almost black, and my roots grow out white, this spray looked like I had a red stripe down my part when I used it. It wasn't the natural looking dark brown I was use too.

When I spray this on, even if I layer and let dry between, my roots remain obvious. Eventually, it turns my part orange, making my hair look worse than it does with the regrow alone. This did not work for me at all.

I had tried it on my roots and it took a lot of air before the color started showing on my roots. I ended up getting it all over my face from the fall off while misting it on. I had to take a washcloth and wipe my forehead, nose, ears and cheeks which sucked since I had already applied my make-up. Plus, even after completely drying, if I were to run my fingers through my hair my fingers would be black. Makes me nervous that I’ll be walking around with a black spot on my face somewhere that I won’t notice until I’m already out and about. Also I was only able to cover my roots two times and that’s me only spaying it where my hair parts. I didn’t even try to use it on all my roots.

The product is outstanding. However, it is very difficult to get a match to my color with this type of product. I did not need to use it at all after my last application. The gray did not begin to show up for six weeks.

I dislike this. It makes where I spray it look like hairspray was sprayed and if I touch it at all it comes out onto my fingers. Very disappointed. Ordered twice to see if I got a bad product at first but it was the same.

I would use this product more but the odor is terrible. It even gets into your brush. To me it smells like pure butane mixed with hair. It seems to take alot to cover completely gray hair. I'm also not fond of the texture of the area after use. I really want to like the product, but I cannot stand the smell.

I have received 2 of these cans and neither nozzle works properly. One prays in crazy directions that it goes all over your face and ruins your makeup and clothes and not on your hair where it should and the other runs out under the cap and runs down your arm and all over your clothes.

Not great. I had to spray many layers of this to cover the gray. It just didn't cover as well as other brands on the market. Because I had to put so many layers on, my hair became stiff and dull looking where it was sprayed.

I used my 'custom kit' that I SPOKE with an agent directly to clarify and arrange... for highlights - ASH BLONDE highlights. The lightening powder and activator turned into a paste (not enough activator?) .. I did not get to finish my hair before it was dried and powder was everywhere! Very hard to wash out dried up paste from your hair, very hard to get dried paste to stick to hair... but where I could get it to stick, the color the color was a low light or dark light - orange-ish brown. I've colored my hair for years, done frostings and highlights. My roommate uses your product so thought would give it a go. Seems you need to work on what you are doing for highlights a LOT more.

If I was doing a large area, the spray works great. However for small spots like sideburns, it could not be pinpointed to that small of a space. Slightly disappointing.

The concept is great but the execution falls flat.
Spray it on in the morning and the grays disappear, but it never truly dries, so if you wear sunglasses and place them on your head - BEWARE! The color transfers onto the glasses and when you put them on, it then transfers onto your nose. And if you're unaware, you can smear it and have splotches and people will keep asking how you bruised your nose... ask me how I know!

I have loved all the products so far, except this. It's very obvious on your roots. The mist makes my head very itchy and if you touch it hours/days later it comes off on your fingertips. Not so good. 😞

- It used Flurocarbons as propellant. Hazardous to our environment. Very upset about that.
- it should come with one of those straws like in compressed air because it's hard to use it on precise areas like the temples or front hairline.

I had high hopes for this spray temporary gray coverage but the color is way off. This is a very orange shade on me and does not look natural with my hair color. It is the lighter of the 2 shades chosen for me because my hair color is more golden. The spray is also very forceful and takes a bit of practice so you do not over saturate your hair/scalp area. I will have to keep looking for the perfect color.
I do look most of the eSalon products and I think they are always worth trying. Thank you.

I actually love the camo mist, however it delayed my shipment by almost two weeks, due to it being an aerosol. Also, there is not much product in the can. I use is sparingly and it is almost out.

While it seems to work okay to cover up grays in between coloring, I feel like I have to use too much of the product, and that it feels sort of tacky on my hair once dried. I have followed the instructions, yet have gotten the same results on multiple tries. Might work better on thicker hair, but mine is finer and you can definitely tell that I used the spray in it. Was looking for something a bit more subtle.

This product does not cover well at all. I tried spraying this from far to up close and everywhere in between and couldn't get natural looking coverage. It colors your scalp and makes it very obvious that you have temporary color in your hair. It also is very easy to get on your forehead, creating a mess. It was a waste of money and I will never buy it again!

I used it 1 time because I didn't have time to color my hair and it turned out a grey color spray I had to were a hat to cover it up because I didn't have time to wash it out.

I was really excited to try the camo mist as I have tried powered root concealers before with disappointing results. Yet no matter how much of this stuff I sprayed on my roots, there was no visible difference. It didn't conceal greys, nor masque new growth.

Color match is great, but it’s still a work in progress to target roots without having it splatter on my scalp. It doesn’t dry quick enough and needs short bursts with the hair dryer to set properly. Still on the fence if I’d order it again

Camo spray Color was good a bit lighter than my normal color. Coverage was not great. My grey still came through. The color war off on my hands throughout the day and left a sticky feel in my hair that had to be washed out before I went to bed. This is a great for a quick touchup and night out but not more than one day

I sprayed it on my gray roots and was very disappointed as it was too dark and looked like my hair was black. It was a stark contrast next to my red hair. The spray was not Dark Auburn and definitely not what I expected!

The color worked surprisingly well as a match, but I found the formula to be sticky on my fine hair. I found it worked better on my hair after I wet it a little after applying and combed it through. It’s unlikeky that I will order it again.

I cancelled my order(s) last month and I'm still getting info from eSalon. They better not charge my bank account again, or I I will pursue legal action. (I told the representative this on the phone when I cancelled this in April.) I have a box of color which was "auto" sent to me in April that I will not use because it does not cover my gray - it turns it a weird shade of auburn (not my color) 3 shades lighter than the rest of my hair. I get much better results from "box color" from my grocery store, plus, that box color leaves my hair shiny and healthy, not dry and lifeless.

I am famous for pushing off my dye and I have noticeable roots with about 5% gray. I thought this camo mist was going to be exactly what I needed on those days where I just don’t have time to color my hair.
I added it to my order and before coloring my hair, I tried it out.
All I managed to do was make my part turn orange. It was easy to use, exactly like dry shampoo spray. The coverage was lacking and I was afraid to add too much. My hair is a mouse brown and I dye it a dark blonde/copper red head color. This was not a match. Now I have to shampoo this out. Hopefully it washes away easily.
