This shampoo did initially make my hair feel dry and brittle when washing my hair, but they have adjusted the formula and my hair now feels silky when washing it. Very happy

I like you get both for a deal but I do need to buy additional conditioner because I go through more of that with my long hair. I used to just buy the conditioner and use a cheaper shampoo but this seems better.

Helps elongate the color in your hair. I need a little extra moisturizer than this offers since I have wavy freeze hair, but nothing a good leave in conditioner can't do.

I love the scent in this shampoo and conditioner. It’s light and is reminiscent of warm sun and cool breeze (cue ocean sounds). However, after ordering a few times I don’t think I will order again. There is such a small amount of product and it doesn’t seem to go a long way like other salon products I’ve used.

I heard so many great things about this product but unfortunately it isn’t for me. If you wash your hair daily, it should be fine. I’ve got curly hair and normally wash 1-2 times a week. When using this, it’s unbearably greasy by the next morning. It does smell amazing and feels so good in the shower and right after, just wish it wasn’t so heavy.

The original and the best shampoo, over the years I've tried various shampoos in the eSalon range and I have to say the original is the best. I will be sticking to this from now on it does what it says, plus it makes my hair feel nice and soft . My only complaint is that I dislike the packaging labels. I've disliked them since the re branding aside from asthetics, the font, color and layout make the packaging nearly impossible to read, even when magnified.

The shampoo is a little like no-pooh in that it doesn't really stretch very far. My hair is extremely long so I feel like the bottle isn't going to last super long. The conditioner is also much more "crunchy" and good for my hair than what I'm used to, so it's taking some adjustment to get used to the feel of no silicone. I can't really comb my hair in the shower as easily as I could with the junky build up conditioner I was using. So the feel in the shower, and the amount of product I have to use have changed - BUT the trade off is that my hair is *much* healthier feeling once it's air dried. So it seems to me, since this is the only change I've made, that these products are really benefiting the *health* of my hair.

The shampoo was fine, but my hair is curly and I have shampoo that I have used for the last 4 years that is just for gals with curly hair. I do not want to change shampoo.

It actually did not come with a pump when I purchased it, which is something I would prefer to have as the bottle is pretty hard to squeeze, but the conditioner itself is magical!! It makes my hair so silky and soft after coloring or even just an everyday shower

Only thing bad is the new packaging. The bottle is very stiff and really wish you would enclose a pump so you don't dispense too much and have to try and put the extra back in the bottle.

Way smaller than what the bottle looks like on website. However, this is my fault for not looking at the fluid ounces. Smells great and makes hair feel great and so shiny!

I like the shampoo. Wish it had a bit more suds to it but I understand that it is sulfate free. If this helps to prolong my hair color I'll live with a little less lather.

I like the conditioner, however I dislike the new bottle. It is a hard plastic that makes it difficult to get the product out. Either a softer bottle or a squeeze tube would be better.

This does the job without stripping color, but I like the Heart Lock shampoo better. Seemed to give more body to my hair and was better after a color. But I like them both, just one seems richer than the other.

Glad the formula didn’t change. Great product. I’m iffy on the new packaging mainly because I liked the pump design on the previous one. Great softness to the hair folks!

I think that you have to use too much of an amount to get a good lather. For the price of the shampoo I wouldn't think it would take much. But I still love the way it makes my hair look, feel & smell

It's not what I would of expected from this company. Marketing and Presentation are pretty much tops when it comes to a company. I am a marketeer for Costco and that's what they taught me. Your new look is BORING. I loved the old look. Don't really understand why you have chosen to go so plain. I have been using your products for a couple years now. Just as I said about the Shampoo that goes with this cond.. It works great on any type of hair and did't make me break out like the other shamp's/cond's. Price is the downfall here. Once again, just not enough in the bottle for the price we pay!

Love the product, but i really dont like the new branding at all. Everything looks just so plan and generic where as before it looked salon professional. Any chance of going back to the former packaging? The names were so witty to... i used to love reading them, now its just so boring and lacking in creativity.

It is very difficult to get the shampoo out of this new style bottle. Even with a new full bottle! I suggest a softer plastic so you can squeeze the air and get out the product.

Love the product, but the bottle is so stiff it is difficult to get the product out even with a full new bottle. :( maybe switch to a top that allows you to stand it upside down so gravity helps or use a softer plastic bottle.

Feel that it could do with a bit more moisture power. I am buying a different condioner to try this order time with more moisture lock in to see how it goes. If it makes a difference will stick with that for one bottle trial.

So my hair is still feeling pretty dry after using this, next time I may need to try a different product, from the range that is more conditioning for dryer hair. It is a very difficult line to find a product that leaves your hair light, non greasy but sufficiently conditioned.

So this seems to do a fab job and it is SLS free shampoo! I have tried quite a few too! Foams as much as can be expected without that harsh chemical SLS. The only thing is it is quite pricy and the bottle was slippy, the push flip top was a shame, as I was expecting a nice pump top as in photo which would have been great to use.

Love the shampoo, but strongly dislike the new packaging. Cheap plastic bottle and no pump included. The new design is not appealing. The font is difficult to read. So much so I grabbed the conditioner bottle instead of the shampoo bottle.

A little expensive for the amount one might use.
You need very little to get a full lather. I have extra long hair so unfortunately it is usually a quarterly treat instead of being within my monthly budget. I use it to refresh build up from my other shampoo/conditioners.
