Something went awry with my mousse container. When I pressed the top, the mousse exploded from all sides of the top, yielding enough for 3 heads of hair! I though taping might help but now that I examine it closer, I don't think I'll be able to press the top down if i do.
I use the mousse almost daily and just opened the new can yesterday. (sigh)

Hate the scent and seems more air than product; have to use more product and still not same results as Kenra product I use. eSalon- my #1 complaint with your products are your scents added. They’re all over the map and some are so strong I have actually had to wash back out. I do not like the ROSE scent in this product. I do not want my hair products to compete with my perfume or scented lotions. Of the 8 different products I’ve tried or use from eSalon, there are 7 COMPLETELY DIFFERENT scents and the #1 reason this long term customer doesn’t use more of your products.

My hair is curly and fine. Although this product did make my hair soft and bouncy, it did not hold my curl in place. My hair was very flyaway all over and frizzy at the crown of my head. The over the counter gel I normally use makes my hair look so much better. I would definitely not recommend for curly fine hair. I was very disappointed especially with the high cost of this mousse, given that the other products I use from eSalon are reasonably priced and far better than their over the counter peers!

I tried this for the first time yesterday morning after washing my hair. Once it dried and I combed it, it was soft and felt like my clean hair usually feels like (very soft, fine and touchable). But the next morning (today) after combing it felt and looked stringy. I don't wash my hair daily unless I sweat a lot or work outside in the dust. I only used one squirt and I have short hair, so I was disappointed.

It was ok but it left my hair feeling super dry and it was tangled at the ends. My hair is naturally curly, loose spirals with some tighter spirals, not course at all and NEVER tangles. Now, this mousse smells really nice but that's not the point of using it. I have a mousse that I love but of course, as with all things that work for my hair, it has been discontinued. So I was trying to find another one BUT this is not it, I don't think, unless it surprises me later. I'm going to keep using it, so I will update if I find I have been hasty in my judgement.

This one I’ve tried over and over many different ways. Shaking more and using tiny amounts but by hour two out of the house my hair is flat with this product. I’m very sad. I love the fragrance and texture just doesn’t work with my hair.

Unfortunately this product is not so great. It does leave the hair a bit stinky and did not control my curls. The product is small and expensive. I found other brands that work well and cost less. Therefore, I give it a 3 stars.

It actually weighed my hair down and I am Always mindful about not using too much of a product. Especially ones that are administered so near the scalp and can cause more harm than good. “Looks Wise” of course! And it also came out very “runny and thin”, NOT what mousse is suppose to be. It should look like a swirl of vanilla ice cream. Not just a white runny blob that looks more like melting snow.

I felt like this product dried out my hair. When I use this, after drying/styling my hair it felt harsh and not the softness I'm used to. It does give volume but not even as much as in some other products I've tried. Its not worth the money to me.

I’ve never been a fan of mousse and yet over the years I give in a try a new one with hope of finding one that will change my thoughts towards mousses. Well, I think I may have found that one! I have wavy hair and love how soft my curls feel and my style stays all day! The only 2 downfalls of this product are the initial smell (smells like grandmas lipstick from the 70’s) and that I still need to pair it with a serum to keep the frizz at bay. Otherwise, I really like this product!

Volumizing mousse does give hair a bit more volume, but at a price. I used sparingly as I have had less than stellar results from such products. It did work, but left my hair feeling sticky. I could only tolerate the feel of my hair with this product for a day and then had to wash it out.

This product did give me volume, but I didn’t like the feel of my hair after using it. It was an “almost sticky, greasy “ feel. My hair did stay shiny and clean looking after its use.

I received this product with my October order and was never able to use it as the mousse does not dispense from the can. My first thought was that it had leaked out during transport but decided this was not the case because the can appears full when shaking it. I have tried twice more with the same results. When I push the spray button, nothing happens. I reported this problem to the company and requested a return authorization number but was told it was company policy for the end user to pay shipping to return the product. I could understand me paying to return if I was disappointed with the product but I have NEVER had to pay shipping to return a defective item. I have been using Esalon products for years and have recommended them to my friends. Until now I have been very happy with the company and it’s products. However after my latest experience I am contemplating canceling any future shipments. So very sorry that this has to be the course of action I am being forced to take

I used .I found my hair. To feel like my hair was dirty. So I tried it again , it felt dirty again .
I am disappointed I have loved all your other products. Especially the hair dye.

I don’t know if I dislike this product because I haven’t used mousse for a long time, or if it is just too heavy of a mousse. Maybe I use too much. I’m still trying to love it, experimenting with different quantities, so I’ll update when I find a perfect fit!

normally I wouldn't write a review like this but I'm tired of emails being automatically sent out. I'm being asked to rate a product I haven't even received much less had the opportunity to use. If it's any good I will change/update my rating.

Curly hair needs a bit more something

I was excited about trying it. I will use it and enjoy it. However, i have curly hair and it didn’t do much for that. I like the smell. It’s very light.

I am a big fan of the custom color sets and all of the shampoos and conditioners, but this product is too heavily perfumed for me! There doesn't need to be competing scents in every product. Why not unscented?

I'm so glad I didn't pay for this, made my hair stiff and crunchy. I had to wash it out.
