I thought my hair had shine but I was wrong. With only a tiny bit of this product, it shines and de frizzes the ends of my hair making it look like I just came from the salon. Will definitely be reordering!

I will buy this again. It was very light and gave my hair beautiful shine, although not sure about frizz control, I would have given it 5 stars if it did frizz control.

Just a little goes a long way and it makes my hair feel like it did when I was young, soft & healthy. I just love this product! I wish it packed better for travel (it is weird and almost "climbs" out of the bottle). Maybe some one-use packets to travel with? If you have not tried this, you just have to try it to believe it!

I love the way this serum smells, and that it is not too heavy or greasy. It seems to do a good job protecting my hair. My biggest complaint is that I wish the bottle were bigger, I have really long hair so it takes 4-5pumps each time I use it, which is pretty often, so I'm using it fairly quickly. Other than that this is a great serum and offers lots of shine!

Besides adding shine after I blow dry my hair, the other benefit of this product is that it allows me to comb thru my wet hair (similar to the Redken KPax product, but without the price).

This product does what it claims. However, I put it on BEFORE I towel dry my hair. That way it adds shine all over and just enough. I would highly recommend Shine Silk. A little goes a long way!

I thought this product might leave my hair greasy, but it was quite the opposite. This product does away with frizzy hair as well. So easy to use and great feeling hair when dry!

I love the treatment. My ends get so dry; but, smoothing a few drops into my damp hair gives a silky look and feel. Even when styling, my hair glows. I never get the "greasy" look, either.

This oil is lovely . I have thick coarse hair, wavy. hair and live in a humid climate. The combination is lethal. On a beach day my hair will air dry crazy creating the chrysanthemum head look. I use a pea size pump of Shining Armor on toweled dry damp hair. Then style as usual . Works like a dream but what is really cool is that I can allow my hair to dry naturally and it will get all wavy but not crazy. Also a tiny tiny amount on dry hair will tame the frizzes. A little goes a long way.

Replaced 2 products in my routine, a leave-in conditioner (to thicken my hair) and a dry oil (to smooth it). I wash my hair every 3 days & the thickening & smoothing effects stayed with my hair & did not brush out.

I used too much the first time and with very fine hair, it makes it greasy. Which is still better than the dry look that coloring your hair can cause.
Less the last time and it was fine. Seems many hair companies sell something like this product.

I have galaxy colored hair (blue, pink, purple, teal) and maintaining the health of my hair is important as bleaching does a number on it. I generally only wash and style it once a week - and I know that blow drying my hair is rough. I do end up with a lot of split ends despite my best efforts - but since using this it seems that my hair is a bit more resistant to breakage. My splits don't seen to be cropping up as much. I also thought it was an expensive product for such a small amount - but upon using it seems like just a tiny bit goes a really long way! (Avoid using too much, will get oily)

This is amazing--not only does it add a wonderful shine to your hair but also will improve the condition of the ends. The only thing wrong with it-- is there should be more in the bottle...😜

I haven't seen my hair this soft for ages. People have have to try this out. My hair is very frizzle and somewhat hard to managed. The best part is that you don't have that oily sensation in the hands or the hair.

It took several times trying it in my hair before I was able to figure out the right amount I should use. Too much will leave it oily so be careful but the right amount will keep you going. Use a very small amount at a time and adjust as needed.

This product is better than any shine or oil product I've ever used. It is light, not greasy, and doesn't leave an oily look just shiny and silky. They changed the packaging to be a taller skinnier bottle and it falls over easy and the lid never stays on so it is annoying to always have to set it back up when it falls over and it doesn't travel well since the lid won't stay in and the bottle is too tall for a ziplock allowed in carryon luggage.

What do you guys make this stuff out of? I didnt think my hair could be any softer after the conditioner. But after this stuff went in and I blew dry my hair, I could see the amazing effect. AND my super fine hair is not even greasy!

This is one of my favourite hair oils I have tried so far, and having long, curly, dry hair - I have tried many hair oils! This oil is perfectly lightweight yet it stills tames flyaways and frizz with a small amount. It is also helps revive dry ends and add shine to hair in between washes. I put a pump of this on my hair once a day usually. It leaves my hair looking fresh and healthy rather than weighed down and oily. My only qualm with this product is that the pump is not very well designed since I've found it often leaks, especially if I take this overnight with me and had leaked when it arrived in the mail originally. This wouldn't bother me so much, however I have to remove one star because this is one of my absolute hair essentials yet it is completely inefficient for leaving the house.

I normally use a Christophe brand argan oil in my hair because it doesn't weight it down, I can use it on wet/dry hair, and it works amazingly. Well, of course it is the hardest product in the world to find now and I was on the hunt for a new serum type product that contains argan oil and doesn't weigh my hair down. Shining armor is the answer! It is a little heavier than my holy grail oil but it does the job wonderfully. I just make sure to use a smaller amount that I normally would, concentrate it on my ends, and can still use it on wet/dry hair to control frizz.

This product can be used on damp hair or on dry hair and it smooths out fly-aways. A drop or two is all you need to get silky, smooth and shiny hair - top off your style with the "On the Bright Side" color illuminating spray and voila!!!s

Once a week I put this on and wrap a silk scarf around my hair and sleep to wake up to soft silky look. For the rest of the week I use this silk scarf to put my hair in and my hair has less breakage.

This hair oil is just like any drug store hair oil and is not anything special. I love Moroccan oil, Kerastase oils and Olaplex's oils a lot more.

not as good as another major brand but did surprisingly well on my hair. Got rid of frizzy ends without leaving it oily looking. It almost feels like putting nothing on. Overall one of best products Ive found for thin, oily, colored hair type

I dont tend to use these products as my hair is fine and can get greasy looking. This however I really like no oily feeling, just one drop in my palms and through my hair was enough! It was used straight after dyeing my hair this morning so time will tell how it stands up against my hair on every other day but I've got a feeling it'll last me ages and give my hair a shine boost when needed!

I have super thick curly hair beautiful color (thanks to my esalon colorist) but during the day my hair gets dry flyaways no way you touch this with a comb or brush two pumps of shine silk run my hands over my hair and boom shine and calms down my curls no tangles either yeah it’s worth it
