I was very pleased with the root touch up. The only thing I would say is if you have light brown hair, order the blonde. The brown one goes on too dark. The blonde one is perfect for light brown hair. When I contacted them about the problem they sent me a blonde one to try at no cost to me. You cannot deal with a better company. It is just like a mascara brush and fills in the spots, nicely. I don't need it often, but there are times the roots are showing and I have not had the time to touch up and this works very well. Highly recommend it!

This is a must for the in between coloring times. I keep this handy for the touch up jobs around the front hairline or when I part my hair. It works quickly and covers a lot. Dries quickly and doesn't make the hair feel hard or stiff. Buy one or two!

Why is this product no longer available for blondes?
It is so handy for using in areas near the face. It's a lot easier to control than the Camo mist.

It doesn’t put on too heavy to look uneven or obvious. It does go on a little light, but I’d rather have that than clumps of off color in my hair. Well done!

I tried couple of other root touch-ups (sprays, powder, mascaras) and they all come off on hands or pillows. This one doesn't and I love it. Color blends well with my hair color, I use dark brunette. I have long hair which gets stuck in the brush sometime but overall I'm satisfied with the application

This is good to touch up parting line etc if needed. To be honest, with using the colour tint rinse I barely need this except just before the next colour

I tried this product because having dark hair, I do have quite a problem with grey popping out between colorings. While I did find this hard to use on roots of my hair. (I just couldn't apply it well because I cant see over my whole head) I did find it to be an awesome eyebrow enhancing product. The brush stick does make this so easy and it lasts a few weeks, depending on face care regime.

Perfect touch up to hide the grays you missed. Tricky wand will spray product on your hand when taking it out of the bottle. Luckily the product didn't end up on my shirt.

I have used this for years and swear by it. I have been in between colouring and on my way to a function and realize that my roots are starting to show. I just brush this over the roots, comb and go. No one ever knew my secret!

I don’t use this item very often but it does cover my white hairs that appear in between hair colouring. It so compact I keep it in my makeup bag and if I happen to see any grey while out is so easy to apply

I tried 3 other products prior to this one and I'm happiest with the E-salon product. The spray isn't too robust so it doesn't heavily coat the root area making a distinct line of color change. I have enough time before it dries completely to gently draw some of the color into the non-gray hair giving me some blending capability that other products just don't have.

This product is great to cover up your roots if you didn't have time to colored your hair. It is a perfect match to the color that I normally ordered. It is easy to apply but it leaves the hair slightly stiff (not noticeable unless you touch it)

I like this way better than the powder "eye shadow" types of touch-ups like Color Wow. That one costs alot more and doesn't work as well. This eSalon touchup is like Mascara and it can be a little clumpy but if you just use the brush to remove clumps when it tries (like the instructions say) it is perfect. I dye my roots every 4 weeks and use this stuff on the last week.

I am going to add this to my bi-monthly order from now on! It covers those grey roots that show up first, when it’s still too early to color your hair again. Once it dries, you’re good to go, and it even lasts until you wash your hair again.

Easy to use and blend in.
Only comment that there is not a name of the color on the container. Since I change colors with the seasons, it would make it easier to tell the color.

If you're like me, you like to stretch out your color for as long as you can. But at 55, my grays tend to pop before the rest of my new growth is visible. The root touch up works wonders to hide the gray until I'm ready to color again!

This wand is easy to use- kind of like a mascara brush you comb through the roots of your hair. It matched up to my regular dye product very well. I got it for those times when I notice too much root showing but don't have a hour for the whole dye and shower process. Because of my hair style I only used it on the temple area. The wand design makes it possible to color exactly where you need it with a quick brush stroke. It would be a 5 star except it did make the texture of my hair a little coarse but, hey, it's hair paint after all and to be expected. I will definitely keep one of these in my hair care kit. Worth the $15 sale price I got.

I pressed the button for red and received brown. So, I never got to use it. My salon offered me a powder formula which works wonderfully and has several shades of reds/copper in it; I love it. Maybe eSalon can make a powder formula. The powder formula is so easy and comes in every color (each having multi-colors in the formula which suits well for those who highlight too). The powder stays in until you wash your hair again. Great "goto" for those who have not had time to color roots on schedule. If eSalon comes up with a multi-color powder formula I would definitely try it! I do love most of the eSalon products.

Sticky, waxy, doesn’t “dry” in the sense you can brush it through. I used it once and followed the instructions. Also, IT DOESN’T WASH OUT! After 2 washes and I mean I work the shampoo like never before, my hair still has a sticky/waxy feel at the root. Edit-I love e-salon and their customer service is fantastic! This is the only product I’ve been disappointed in.

Once applied you cant comb your hair through those spots you used it on. I actually PREFER the spray on spot n gray cover over this mascara wand type version...although you cant comb through that product either but the spray on is more natural looking.

I love the idea of the product. Especially being a busy Wife & Mother of 3, but I definitely have to be desperate for a quick fix to use. It goes on like applying mascara to your hair & drys stiffer than most hair sprays. I couldn't wait to wash my hair.

The color looked almost black and I was surprised how thick it was. It stuck to my scalp but looked better the next day as it wore off a bit. Friend said it wasn't noticeable inside but could tell in sunlight.

The coverage, and color was great, the feel was not.
It made my hair very rough at the roots. I brushed as directed, thinking I hadn't brushed through enough but that didn't help the feel of my hair. I thought I used too much, but after a second try at another time, same results. I couldn't wait to was it out of my hair.

I've tried both the dark red and light copper Color Kiss root touch-up. It goes on and covers GREAT, whether your hair is wet or dry, but next to the STUNNING light red/copper shade my colorist mixes for me each month, I can never find one single, tiny smear of red or copper in the touch up, just varying shades of brown -- and not even warm or shiny brown. The red definitely WASN'T red, and the light copper looks like, well, mud. One application of Color Kiss lasts several days if you don't add extra products or fuss a lot with your hair style, and after a day, I'm so glad my white roots have done a disappearing act that I can't find the heart to complain about the dull brown that took their place, Still. . . ? It seems like I keep shooting for the stars, but only managing to grab one of the lower branches on the 30' Canadian Red in our back yard! ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

For those in between moments where I think I look old because of my grey roots. I love this product cause it makes me look 20 years younger in between coloring when I’m too lazy to color my hair. One thing, would like it even better if it made my roots as shiny as my hair.
