My hair used to be so dry that it looked singed on the ends. I was using another hair mask that helped to get rid of that, but my hair was still a bit frizzy. After using this one time, I could see the improvement in my hair. It actually seemed healed versus just moistened. My hair was shiny and healthy looking and no longer frizzy. But, it also was not at all greasy or weighed down, and I have a lot of hair but it’s thin in texture and can weigh down easily. I‘ll definitely be staying with this!

I used this product after I had a perm. The perm dried out my hair a lot, and this product did tame the fizzy's.. It felt very heavy on my hair and I had to wash twice to make sure the mask was out. It did do what the product said it would do and it did help repair my hair using it 3 times a week to put moisture back into my hair. This is an OK product but not the best that I have used.

It needs to be left in your hair for 10 minutes or more so not good unless you have time for a leisurely shower. My hair was soft and felt great but it only lasted until my next shampoo. Wish it worked faster and lasted longer but I do love the results.

My hair's natural colour is grey now, :( & after colouring it for a long time it's damaged , dry & not soft at all.
Also, I have natural curly hair & it's so frizzy due to being dried out all the time. I spend a lot of time outside in the sun & wind, so that doesn't help, either. I've tried so many different conditioners & treatments from stores & salons & nothing has worked.
After reading the instructions that are on the product, as well as feedback from other customers who use this, I decided on a program for myself of putting this on as a quick conditioner on a regular basis & then doing a deep treatment twice a month, or more if my hair is especially dry. I put it on clean hair with a plastic cap over it & leave it on for 20 minutes for the deep treatment.
After even the first use my hair was healthy looking again, shiny & soft with way less frizz - & I never thought that would happen! I've continued use for over a month & believe I won't have to look for another conditioner anywhere. No buildup or greasy hair ever. Also, my natural curls will sometimes get flattened with certain deep conditioners I've tried. That hasn't happened with the Retreat. Even my husband noticed how soft & touchable my hair is! :)

This product might be better for thinner hair. I have thick long hair and while it does ok at the roots the rest of the hair still doesn’t get soft and silky. It smells good and I prefer the smell of this over the shampoo anyday.

I was disappointed as I can not use this product. I didn't know it would be this volatile for me. It will most likely be nauseating to you if you are sensitive to smells or have cancer and getting treated. Also, the smell lasts long.

My normal weekly regime includes a hair mask that I have used for many years which enriches my hair, makes it shine, and does not fad the color at all. Unfortunately my hair, which I had colored just two weeks ago and looked rich and shiny, is now faded, frizzy, and dried out. I would love a refund as I will need to use a toner tommorrow and re-color sooner than expected. Love my hair color products just not this mask.

Leider auch hier nicht perfekt für mein Haar.
Ich habe dickes langes lockiges Haar und mir fehlen hier einfach Öle oder stärkere Inhaltstoffe. Es ist für mein Haar sehr schwer etwas zu finden, was es geschmeidig und glänzend macht..

I followed the directions exactly, it did not do anything to make my hair look healthier. The only thing it did do was weigh my hair down and make it look flat and no shine. I tried it the next week just to see if the first time was a fluke, but I got the same result. This product was just not for me and definitely not worth the price.

I wanted to love it, but sadly it didn't live up to my hopes. I thought this may be like the co-wash, which worked wonders on my curls. I've used this treatment twice, following instructions exactly. But it didn't really make much of a noticeable difference.

Nach Rücksprache mit meinem Frisör, meinte er man kann es mit der Pflege auch übertreiben.
Nach Anwendung und Trocknung an der Luft, musste ich feststellen das mein Haar etwas platt nach unten hing. Nicht wirklich seidenweich und locker. Eine weitere Feststellung war das meine Kopfhaut extrem juckt, kann nur nicht genau sagen welches Produkt das ausgelöst hat. Schade hatte mehr erwartet. Nicht alles ist für jeden geeignet.

I have been using this product for my extremely dry hair. I was told at a salon I should do a mask. So I bought this one. I have to say my hair feels as dry as ever. I follow the instructions meticulously yet it doesn’t seem to do any better than cheap conditioners from cvs. Not sure why. I will keep using it to see if the mask works over time. But eventually will have to buy something that works better. I am a good shopper here and will look for a different product from them. Maybe this just isn’t the right one to use. So I can’t recommend it based on my experience. I have single process colored hair.

So let me just say I love ESALON more then anywhere else it is side by side with actual salons, I don't much care for this condition it's a lil greasy but I sapous it is for DEEP CONDITIONING. RIGHT!? 🙂

My hair is black and I ordered blue black but my hair turned into light brown. Ended up at a Salon to have them fix it and even the stylist said that’s not blue black. I’m still trying to grow it out to get to my real color. Never again I’m ordering a box color especially from here.

I tried Weekly Retreat a few times for my dry, frizzy, problematic hair based on the reviews. It made absolutely no difference and my hair remains the same. For me it was a waste of money and I’m requesting my money back.

I’m not sure why my results were so different from most of these reviews, but I tried this (following the directions) 2 separate times and it was terrible both times. My hair is fine (and colored), but I have a lot of it. This made it feel like straw and also made it very fuzzy and frizzy looking. It has a really strong perfume scent to it, too - not fruity or even floral smelling, just an overwhelming perfume. For reference, when I use just regular W E N cleansing conditioner on my hair, it feels hydrated and slick and bouncy. This just stripped all of that away. Glad it works for some people, but it’s definitely not for me! Worth a try for a $6 add-on, though.

Really don’t get much more of a result than using every day conditioner. If you want results use the Alterna Caviar conditioner
