The fading is for realI really hoped that esalon would have worked out for me. I have metastatic breast cancer and because of the pandemic this was such a convenient way to get hair dye. The color was great but only for about a week. At first I thought that maybe it was because it was virgin hair (this was my first dye job post chemo), but after 3 kits the color still faded despite me using their tint rinse and color safe shampoo. I’d dye it and have the most beautiful chestnut brown hair and after a few washes I looked like Donald Trump. Horrible. Blah. Such a bummer. So I’m back to going to Sally’s and mixing my own color. Wrong colourThe colour and process were fine, but I got almost black vs the labelled colour of med ash. Worst smell I have ever had with hair color, almost sent me to the hospital.Not only was the color not as pictured, but the smell was so bad it almost sent me to the hospital. I have MCS disorder and have never used a hair color that was this bad. My skin was burning, I couldn't breathe, the fumes burned my eyes. I was in a well ventilated place and even went outside, it didn't help. I canceld my second shipment, it magically shipped anyway and I canceled a second time after the second box shipped. good colourI used it through the look down and found it very good and liked the colour. Will def use it again if there is another lock down. Always arrived on time and cheaper than a hairdresser.
