really afraid it wouldn't match my rootsBoy, was I wrong. I first did a strand test because I was sure that the color would be way off. How could you possibly match my color from a photo and questions I answered. When I saw the result of the strand test I was very surprised at how well it looked, so I dove in and did all my roots. WOW, it turned out fabulous. I few days later I went to my stylist for a cut (she has been coloring my hair for about three years and I needed to cut down on cost) and she also couldn't believe how well the color matched and what a good job I did of getting all the grey. Easy to follow instructions!The kit contains everything you need for the entire process, making it easy to follow directions. The color is great and you can have it adjusted if you are unhappy with your results.
