Best Color for Auburn covering GrayI am over 50, have dark brunette hair and am about 45% gray and white at this point. I refused to go blond because with my light skin, it would just wash me out. Therefore, my only choice is to go lighter with a red. I chose an Auburn and had been using a well known box color for years. Then, I discovered eSalon! What a wonderful change. They had me send a picture, asked me what I wanted and tailored my color to ME and my skin tone. Now my color looks so natural and I get complemented regularly! I have used the service for a year or so and can get an order as often as I like or skip when I need to. I can't ask for better service. When I want to change up the color I just send another photo and ask for the color to be tweaked and the colorist does it. Then I get an email asking if it turned out how I wanted it to. Great stuff! Great service!I love the personalised service. Make sure you send a photo so they have some idea of where you are now. I had a follow up email that helped determine the best colour for me. Used it 2 days ago and perfect shiny colour. They'll work with me if I gradually want to go darker.
