easy and FASTI bought this kit as somewhat of an impulse buy knowing that I wanted to go darker with my hair but not wanting to buy the boxed dye at the store. My stylist was very helpful picking out my color and listened to my need of wanting to correct the red tones in my previously dyed hair. Start to finish, this process took me about 45 minutes, whereas in the salon to get my hair dyed takes upwards of 2 hours. I also have a LOT of hair, but one bottle was enough to cover it all (they sent me 2). Not what I expected.The color was completely wrong. I was credited another color plan and the color was adjusted but it’s still not right. Too dark!I was really expecting something less brown/dark and more red... Unexpectedly went darker. The product itself is great (thus the 3 stars) but really disappointed in how dark it is. I love this colorThis is exactly the color shade I was going for. It turned out beautifully, it took evenly, and I'm really happy with the result.
