THOROUGHLY DISSATISFIEDOn my third purchase of a custom color set, I wanted to change from dark amber to more of the popular mulled wine color. What I have now is a washed out ugly brunette color. The shampoo after thorough rinsing did not lather at all and after the conditioner my hair was left a mushy oily mess. The morning after coloring my hair I had to wash my hair twice to try to get it back to somewhat normal texture. I have photos, before and after. I wish I could post them here. Great kit but not the color I hoped forThe kit came with everything I needed and the instructions are clear and easy to follow. The products smell great and were nicely packaged. The two issues are the color came out darker than hoped for, and my hair feels very dry even though I didn’t lighten it at all. Wonderful!!Love this color! I have tried using colors with a tent of red and the red just over-powers the whole color. But using eSalons colors, I’m able to use the colors I choose and get the exact color in my hair!! Best home dye I've triedI have only ever dyed my hair twice, each time withbox hair dyes from the supermarket, and hated the results. I wanted one more go at home dying before spending loads of money at a hairdresser and I'm so glad I did. Just used my custom colour hair dye (darkestbrown gold) this morning and love love love the results.. my greys are gone and my hair is shiny and still has its natural tones to it.
