Worked out great!Took a chance to color not just my gray roots coming in, but the rest of my hair which had balayage highlights from last year. I have medium to darker brown hair with caramel highlights that had grown out. I had been doing my own roots with boxed dye for months but the color is never consistent. My goal was to get my whole head the same color, and the kit they sent me worked out great! They sent two separate bottles of color, one for the roots and one for the previously colored part. Loving the ashy medium brown, it's just the shade I was going for and very close to my natural color! WOW!!I was so scared to do my own hair ! Never have in my 50+ years.. not that much + by the way.. followed the instructions step by step and it turned out the perfect shade for me.. I’m over the moon!! Shout out to Paul where ever you are you nailed it! UPDATE!! 11 days later... all the grey around my face is back i was so disappointed.. I don’t wash my hair everyday.. i have salon products for color hair.. I don’t know what happened.. so bummed.. ! Okay I don’t know how to se a new update!! So It’s May 1st and E salons sent me a new color apologizing for the wash out mishap.. an i took a picture of the color .. gorgeous! EncantadísimaVengo decepcionandome cada vez que voy a una peluquería. Siempre me cobran super caro y no dan con el color que sea natural y que me guste. Sin esperar nada he pedido aquí el tinte. Pues me ha sorprendido gratamente que aunque con un par de fotos han sido capaz de enviarme un color precioso y que cubre las canas genial. Highly Impressed!I tried esalon for the first time today. My neighbor helped as I have extremely thick curly long hair. When I first saw the roots color,and the way it was developing, i thought "there's no way this is going to turn out right " Keep in mind I normally did box color or went to a beauty supply. I always did an all over color. My hair kept kept getting darker and darker,instead of exactly how I wanted it. I always ended up with having to wait about 3 weeks for the color to tone down somewhat. While it was being applied my neighbor was impressed on the way the colors were taking to my hair. After drying and styling, I am in love with the results. My hair doesn't feel overly dry either,which I was worried about. Especially, since this was so new to me.
