Wrong ColourAfter reading so many positives reviews I couldn't help but give eSalon a try. But as the saying goes - if it sounds too good to be true it probably is. The packaging was gorgeous, the product came nearly a week early, the instructions seemed a little off to me .. my hair was black, colour stripped and redyed so rather red in colour. I needed to neutralize the red and get back to my natural ash dark blonde. Instructed to leave dye on my roots alone for upwards of 30 minutes despite already being the colour I was attempting to get to and a whopping 3 minutes on the rest of my hair and not as straight due but as diluted and washed in as if it were a shampoo didn't seem like long enough to both neutralize the red tones and correct the colour. Let alone do so evenly. Despite my uncertainty I did just that and sure enough I now have a caramel light brown head that is horribly inconsistent rather than a nice dark ash blonde throughout. Good long lasting colourHaving been very sceptical about the claims made on the website, I was so sick of store bought products, I thought I’d take the plunge. The pack is amazing. Every little thing is taken care of, from stain block to stain remover, an extra set of gloves and lovely shampoo and conditioner. I changed the colour formulation after the second delivery as I wanted more oomph on the red tones and they delivered a perfect product. Red colours tend to leach out when I get hot ( think night sweats) and I can’t count how many pillows and covers have been ruined. Not with eSalon reds. Very happy to recommend and continue using.
