First tryI love the ease of picking a color and having it shipped to me whenever I'm ready. My color didn't turn out the way I was hoping, I picked too dark of a base color. I don't know why but it seemed like it took forever to get the color out of my hair. Green was not the shade I wanted!Was a lot darker than expected and was incredibly difficult to remove. It also left my hair with a definite green tinge. Whether the green beats the orange tones that are usually left is debatable. I had to go to the supermarket to get another colour to cover this. Love My Color!I have been a customer for about 2 years. I don't write reviews - for anything, but I feel I must for eSalon. I have been very pleased with the whole process. I was very impressed when you nailed my color perfectly. I receive my color when I want it, and you kindly adjust delivery when I make a change. I'm 63 years old and because I grayed early, I've been coloring my hair for nearly 30 years. I've done drug store color (blah!) and salon color ($$), but eSalon is by far the best. My color rivals that of salon color, but without the cost and time involved with a trip to the salon. I get compliments all the time - even from strangers. Just the other day, my husband (love ya, hon') asked me if I had gotten highlights! Most times, I don't think he notices that I even have hair, let alone highlights. I have NO highlights, but that is how good the color is. I have hi-lights AND lo-lights with my color. It is incredible! My shoulder-length hair is soft and silky, not dry, brittle or damaged. Color QualityI have been to a couple salons to achieve the strawberry blonde look, but it always cost a fortune! It also never came out exactly how I wanted. After a friend told me about eSalon I tried it out. Not only was it inexpensive, I got just about exactly what I wanted! Color Stylist NAILED it!This dark brown/black with blue/purple tones is PERFECT! I told my stylist that I was fair skinned and blue eyed, leaned more toward cool tones. And BAM!
