My Custom ColorThis is the second time I've used eSalon for my color and I have not been disappointed. The color is just what I wanted and lasted a long time without fading (which is difficult with reds). LOVE my custom color!I highly recommend a color consultation if you are located near an eSalon! I booked a custom color appointment at the El Segundo salon. The color specialist immediately began to check out my hair, and asked questions about what I liked, what I color I am looking for, what my daily habits are, etc. Nicole recommended a certain blend & mixed the color for me, and proceeded to show me what I need to do at home. She took time to explain what I'd receive in a kit, how to apply the product, and what to do afterward. Best Color I ever usedI never liked the quality of the hair color products from drug stores, they always dried my hair and made it look damaged. eSalon's products are fantastic! My hair feels healthier and the color is so natural looking. I love that I don't have to color my hair every 4 weeks, eSalon color stays vibrant and has never dulled. Pretty GoodThe color actually turns out as advertised. (I was scared that it wouldn't since there were many reviews that said the color wasn't what they were expecting). However, with my own custom blend, I found it really hard to get it to stick to my hair. I also found that is has almost completely washed off (only been about 2 weeks) and it was the permanent option. Triumphant!I ordered my box of hair color in February, and just now (mid- April) was brave enough to do it. I was really intimidated, because its been awhile since I colored my hair, and the last time I colored my hair (with a store-bought box color), my grays stayed covered for only a short time before the color completely disappeared. I don't think I will have that problem with this color. It COMPLETELY covered my grey, looks natural and I'm very happy with it. The only downside is, I'm mad at myself for waiting so long to use it! ok with reservationslove the color, but the gray at my temples and sides of my face shows through after 2 wks while the rest of my hair stays with good color for 4-6 wks. ** as a post-review, many months later and many applications later - your color doesn't hold as long as it did when I first started using it even though I am leabing it on for 45 minutes when I color. It's gone from 8 wks coverage to maybe 4, if I'm lucky. And it always goes gray at my temples maybe 2 wks after using it. Disappointed- residue on hair won't come offI ordered my kit; went through the online questions, posted a photo of myself etc. I specified in the notes that I like my hair to be bright, more ginger and less red. My dye colour was set as copper blonde. What I've actually got is a dark browny Auburn. My hair is dull, not vibrant and tonal like it is with off the shelf color. It's not even shiny and golden ginger in sunlight. It seems to have almost brown in it. But its dull and lifeless. On top of that, I applied the dye, followed the instructions and used the timer... I then did the shine step where you fill the bottle of remaining ends dye with water and use it to rinse your hair before washing out. It hasn't added shine nor broken down any residue (which is talked about in the instructions but not something I've ever come across in 17 years of dying my hair). I washed my hair out using their shampoo and my normal one as it didnt feel or look clean. I then conditioned with their conditioner. This left my hair feeling plasticky. I towelled off my hair and then added leave in conditioner to the ends (which I always do) my hair felt strange, like it was stuck together or had too much hair gel in it or something. I tried to blow dry my hair and it just felt like a semi flexible solidly stuck together mess...like insulated cable! I had to immediately go and try to wash my hair again. I shampooed twice and conditioned once, spent extra time rinsing too, all with my normal products. I could not get the crown area clean. I styled my hair and went out as I was in a rush. There was just this bit at the back that looked super greasy/ full of product and felt sticky and awful once it was dry. next morning and some of my hair is looking dry af like straw . The middle and back looks lank and greasy and messy. I've washed again today (that's 3 washes since dye yesterday) and it STILL looks greasy/ full of product (it isnt). Great colour awful residueGreat colour, great grey coverage. Good smell, nicely packaged. But a waxy residue remains in the hair after colouring. I had to wash my hair more than 10 times to get it out. Easier to use a different brand. 0 sur 0 personnes ont trouvé cet avis utile. Et vous ? |
