Permanent colourUsed the permanent colour this time and unlike the demi permanent colour there is an odour. Having long hair I do find it hard to follow the recommended steps to colour so I just do it my own way. On Wasing out my hair felt like it was covered in tar and I was quite worried but once I added the shampoo and conditioner provided everything was ok. DisappointingI used this company twice and for some reason I never got the colour that I wanted (violet). The first time I ended up with a reddish tinge to my hair and the second time, after speaking with the colorist and getting the formula 'adjusted' I ended up with a very dark brown. I saw other reviews with the same complaint and I wonder if this dye does not work as well with some types of hair or with previously coloured hair... I did like the shampoo and conditioner however, especially the conditioner as it made the hair very silky. This was the worst experience I have ever had in hair careWish I could have my regular color back......instead my hair is a bright awful orange and will need to seek professional help to get is partly normal. To much redThe color I HV received from esalon hasn't matched my original haircolor ever since I placed my first order.
