Exceptional ColorSince I started growing gray hair, I've been trying to get back to my youthful brown hair. I have tried everything you can do at home and I have had (too red) failure after (too dark) failure. When I saw the eSalon ad on FB, I figured I had nothing to lose (plus there was deal for first time users!). I sent in my picture and told them the color I wanted. Medium brown. They also ask your skin tone which seemed kind of weird but whatever. A couple of days later, I got an email from my colorist saying the color I chose was too dark for me and would I consider going a shade lighter. Foiled again! Even though I had never met this woman, I trusted her knowledge of hair color and decided to go a shade lighter. A couple more days go by and I received my bundle in the mail. It is lovingly packaged and comes with specific directions on how to apply your color. This isn't your typical hair color. You don't just apply it all over and hope for the best. I had to separate my hair into four sections, apply to my roots first, then apply to the rest of my hair. The result? Perfection. Maybe a touch darker than I wanted after the initial coloring but that went away after the first day. Every time I have colored my hair in the past, people have asked me "Did you color your hair?" This time, nobody even noticed. This stuff easily and perfectly covered all my gray and was so natural looking, nobody noticed I had done anything. I am so happy with this product. Wonderful ProducteSalon has made coloring your hair idiot proof. Excellent instructions and illustrations, what more could a consumer ask for? There is one small issue I have and that's the processing time. All hair is not the same, I'm Black and my hair takes longer for the color to take. 4th formula and still not covering stubborn graysWhen I started coloring my hair, my grays were short but very noticeable. After 6 months they have grown so long and the color bottle for my "roots" still isn't covering my grays even though I'm running it down the whole strand.
